Food: 5/5Service: 4/5Ambiance: 4/5On a chilly day, I was craving soup and discovered this gem in the Little Tokyo neighborhood. For appetizers, I ordered the karaage (fried chicken), followed by the Tokushima Ramen and Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen. Initially, I assumed the Tokushima Ramen would taste similar to the Tonkotsu based on the pictures, but I was pleasantly surprised it had a distinct, smoky flavor that elevated the dish. The fried chicken portions were generous and satisfying. Overall, the food exceeded my expectations, and I'll definitely be returning.

One of my favorite places to go in all of LA (going for a decade plus). Purposefully try to bring folks from out of town to experience it after some shopping in Little TokyoRamen is extremely flavorful and good portions. Perfect on a chilly California night. Ambience is great. Waitlist can get a lil crazy and it can be loud as it's a compact spot - As most places are prime time in Little Tokyo.

Decided to check out Men Oh since my friend recommended it. Reservation was easy to make on Yelp. Karaage (4/5): solid fried chicken. Takoyaki (5/5): didn't taste frozen and had a decent amount of octopus. Tokushika Ramen (4/5): really enjoyed the broth but my chashu was too sweet. Black Garlic Ramen (3.5/5): this was good but can get overwhelming quickly. Overall we enjoyed the food, however the server made a mistake and gave our takoyaki to another customer without apologizing to us at all which was disappointing.

12/16/2024 - This is one of the best Ramen restaurants in Los Angeles. The flavor of the rich housemade broth that is cooked for 16 hours daily is very tasteful and delicious, which is the key ingredient to make its Ramen noodles famous. The thin Japanese needle is okay. The parking might be difficul due to many Japanese restaurants sharing the same parking lot. You can pay $4 for 3 hours parking with validation during lunch time or $6 for 2 hours during dinner time.Taking DASH A (free of charge since pandemic) is also an option. Beginning 1/11/2025, a $0.35 charge on TAP card will be applied for any DASH ride:Source for DASH A Ride: https://www.ladotbus.com/m/regions/6/routes/4447/direction/18751.

I've tried a LOT of ramen in the area, but this is definitely a better than the average ramen shop. Had their Tonkatsu Ramen and their Chicken Karaagr. Both were delicious. Customer service was awesome. A bit of a small space, but it could still fit our family of 6. Will definitely be retiring.

Men Oh is a small chain of Ramen shops based out of Tokushima Japan. Over the last 12 years, this little, unassuming place has received high praise from Ramen experts everywhere; so here I am! I ordered the signature dish, the Tokushima Ramen. The broth is rich and savory, but not spicy. They gave me chili flakes and chili oil to bring up the heat. It's served with the regular braised pork chashu, as well as sliced pork belly (stir fried). The soft boiled egg was nice and creamy, and the noodles were perfect. A very good bowl of Ramen indeed! The service was friendly and helpful and the ramen came out incredibly fast. Parking is validated and they do not add any additional 'service charges' to the bill. A satisfying Ramen, and I will be back to try the Spicy Tonkatsu.

A friend and I came here after work after seeing this spot on yelp. And boy! Was this ramen tasty! We both ordered the Tokushima ramen, which per the menu, is ramen traditionally served in Japan. The broth was creamy, and didn't need any additives to express the flavor. The server who attended to us was thoughtful, welcoming, and kind. The restaurant has a few tables, and bar style seating, so make sure you come at a time to claim your spot. The food is worth it

Great ramen and decently fast service. Only wish is that they served fried rice as well to complete the trifecta of Japanese Ramen shop.

This ramen spot is a hidden gem, located in the Honda Plaza. They have a simple menu and the food was surprisingly delicious. We started with the takoyaki which is octupus inside of a fried doughy ball. One bite and it was bursting with flavor. The octupus inside was charred which gave it this nice crispy texture. Definitely recommended for anyone who likes takoyaki or octopus. We ordered the tonkotsu ramen and the spicy tonkatsu ramen. Both were flavorful, creamy and slurpin delicious. I enjoyed the perfectly poached egg. The pork was tender, soft and juicy. The servers were so kind, friendly and attentive. Felt like I was at someone's home rather than at a restaurant. Men Oh definitely has a homey and welcoming ambiance. Definitely give this spot a try if you're hungry and all the nearby restaurants have a long wait.

This was simple and comforting. The broth was rich without being overly seasoned. The noodles were cooked with a perfect bite. The egg was also cooked well and still had the jammy yolk. I personally would have preferred the meat to be a bit more tender and less chewy/tough but overall it was a solid bowl of ramen.
