Melrose Station

What a rad speakeasy! Prices were reasonable and the server was super on point and fun! We loved being able to get some late night food . Going into the entry with super startling and unexpected. We really love the whole experience. Definitely a must if you're in the Melrose area the atmosphere was very high end and such a funny contrast from a hookah lounge entry. To be clear, you have to go into the hookah lounge and walk all the way to the back of it to gain entry through a book case. I had the ceviche and a quesadilla. They were both delightful. Super cheesy quesadilla. My friend had the garden burger. It came with two patties. It was kind of excessive but if you're hungry, it'll definitely fill you up. The portions were pretty big all around... definitely coming back.!!!

Pretty cool and chill speakeasy! You have to go through the hookah lounge before getting to the door.They have some solid and unique drinks! Surprisingly not terrible packed on a weekend night. Great spot to chill and catch up with friends as the music isn't crazy loud and lightning inside is good.

For some reason they weren't actually open tonight--an employee told us they were opening 20 minutes late, but then 45 minutes later we were still waiting with no updates so we just quietly left. I totally get it, things happen, but they could have done us the common courtesy of communicating whatever the situation was. There were multiple employees standing around who spent most of the time acting like we weren't even there. I work nearby and it would have been nice to add another drinks spot to my rotation, but I'll never be going back after the experience tonight.

Tucked away speakeasy bar for sure. Went on a Wednesday night after our flight landed and it was completely empty but the bartender was great. Definitely a vibe! Only thing that sucks is having to find street parking but other than that it was great!

I happened to come across this place and stopped by on a sunday. They closed at 1. I had no idea it was a bookshelf entry to a beautiful bar downstairs. The vibe here is so nice. The music is fire. They play r&b and rap. The drinks were top tier and Christian our bartender was so nice. I definitely will be back. This is great for a date or night out with friends. I definitely didn't expect for this location to bring the vibes.

I'm a sucker for a speakeasy, but who isn't? My friends stumbled upon this place after visiting APB as we wanted to keep the night going with more cocktails! This place definitely didn't disappoint. I ordered the Pistolero with Blanco tequila and A Great Pear and both were fantastic. Pistolero is pretty much a spicy margarita and A Great Pear had pear flavored vodka with passion fruit which was so refreshing. I love craft cocktails and our bartender, Harvey, did a bang up job. There's bar food as well which we didn't partake in. I'll definitely be back with more friends.

This place has a great, intimate vibe and good drinks. Will definitely be back later. The service is pretty good.

It is a tiny "speakeasy" in the back. Cute hidden idea. Pretty decorations and would be fun with a group. Went with a friend before going to groundlings. It was early. The bartender was meh. We were a little bit of an annoyance, as it sure we are. They have no non alcoholic beers. He said no one wants those mostly they all want to drink a lot. Asked what they had and he said not really anything. Ended up asking for a virgin mojito. It was good. They food was bad. I got the shrimp appetizer which was fresh shrimp but doused in a spicy sweet sauce. Quality of the shrimp was good but tiny tiny amount and lots of sauce. We got the nachos and they were tasty but definitely using that out of the can 7-11 cheese. Now I liked them and if you are a big drinker which is evidently their crowd these should go over pretty well. Would go back for an intimate meet up but not for the food or NA drinks. If I want those nachos though I know where to get them.

Drinks are solid and venue is nice. Kind of an interesting speak easy. It's located behind a hookah lounge. I've had better drinks but it was a decent spot to catch a drink. They had a pretty extensive cocktail list. Half of em were the usual cocktails you can find anywhere and half were more original creations.Overall the drinks were decent if anything I'd come back for the venue. It's a nice place to just grab a drink

10/10 service from your bartender chris. His energy is SO CONTAGIOUS! he made us feel right at home and his drinks are SO GOOD!There was another bartender that was very rude.. but the experience immediately changed when chris started working and THAT is the only reason why we stayed. I think he said he was from nyc. The food was good too! The bar is super cool
