I have eaten my weight in French onion soup while visiting France and can genuinely say this restaurant nails it. It's pretty magical that this restaurant is able to serve authentic French dishes AND serve delicious American fare brunches. Whether you're stopping by on a Sunday for eggs Benedict or a Wednesday night for all you can eat muscles , you can always meet in Paris for the great ambiance and cuisine.

I've been for brunch and might be convinced to come back for that if someone REALLY wanted to, but dinner is a hard no for me moving forward. My steak "medium rare" came out nearly blue, and when I told the server, she was like "oh is it not done enough for YOU?" Photo attached -- it was no where near medium rare. EVERY course needed a little basic salt and pepper. The cherry on the weird sundae however were the "profiteroles." They were basically two scoops of ice cream between motzah crackers. When I told the server they were NOT profiteroles, she asked if "there was something wrong with the puff pastry."A French restaurant cannot serve puff pastry as profiteroles. That's embarrassing.

Let me start by saying I love Dine LA and the opportunity it gives us to experience new restaurants. Many people are first time customers because of Dine LA so I'd think restaurants would aim for repeat visitors. I was hopeful with this menu and I'm sad to say I was a bit let down. It all sounded delicious....My friend and I ordered separate items so we could try everything between us. The appetizers started off strong. We dug into a lovely cheeseboard with camembert, figs and honey and escargot which we just did for the plot. Cheese was great. Snails were snails. Not really commenting on those, they were edible but just tasted kind of like pesto which made sense since they were covered in garlic and parsley butter (and yes pesto is basil but that's the only comparison that makes sense in my head). All in all it was fine. Here's the let down..... for the main course we've got roasted duck in an orange sauce and beef stew (I'm oversimplifying). The duck was incredibly dry and the sauce couldn't save it (there was hardly any on the plate). When it came to the beef bourguignon...the only thing with any flavor was the mashed potatoes. I didn't come for an experience where the star was going to be the potatoes. I can make those myself. Just very disappointed in how bland the beef was. On the bright side, the meal was saved by the dessert. Very good apple tarte tatin and profiteroles ...but if you don't like the taste of dark chocolate, stay away...the chocolate sauce was definitely on the bitter side which made me think of dark chocolate. Now that I think about it... that could've been the almonds but hey... I'm no gordon ramsey. It did balance well with Ice cream though so that's nice.So even though the bookends were strong, the middle was just so underwhelming for me that I couldn't go above 3 stars. Drinks were fine. We had red wine and a white wine sangria...a bit pricey for what I feel like may have been less expensive wine but letting it go. Setting was lovely, plenty of heat to chase away the cold and the service was good. A bit tightly packed outside for my liking but that's me being picky. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to try snails but don't think I'll be back anytime soon.

Great spot in downtown Culver City to grab some drinks and a bite to eat. The menu is quite expansive - some French, some American, some Asian focused dishes. It's always fun to order different types of dishes to share with your table mates. At the top of my list are the liver pate, escargot, charcuterie boards. But my all time favorite is the hot fudge sundae Great service.

Food was good. Service was normal, (they brought our food and drinks, that's about it. what threw me off was the digital pay/tip and they had a scale of 20,25 and 30% for lunch tip!!! that they only bring us one foor and a coffee and that's it. nd asking for over 20% tip seems ridiculous. if it was 15,18 and 20 i get it or if it was dinner which they served me couple of drinks and food... it was lunch. one plate and a drink. it's not like they have a parking or validate for culver parking either. pretty shocked

We visited Meet in Paris on Saturday night. We made the reservation in the morning and were seated at our table upon arrival. We had a table outside, which was delightful and relaxing. I really liked the red umbrellas and black outdoor furnishings; they created a very French atmosphere. The food was great! The Mussels Mariniere ($13) were excellent, and the Calamari Frits ($12) were delicious. The Seared Salmon ($35) was outstanding--must order this! The Hanger Steak Frites ($37) was good, but the Duck Confit Casserole ($29) was a bit too dry for my taste. The Half Dozen Escargots ($19) were good, and the Chocolate Soufflé ($14) was amazing! The Vanilla Crème Brûlée ($13) was also good. The service was excellent! Our server was very attentive and friendly.Overall, we had a fabulous time at Meet in Paris in Culver City and will definitely visit again in the future.

It's been years since we last ate here. A Sunday Happy Hour and mussels were the perfect reason to return this past weekend. We took a table on the outdoor patio under one of their red umbrellas, and we felt like we were in Paris. Our server was great. We enjoyed Manhattans (5/5 $10 HH), which were generous pours, Mussels Mariniere (4/5 $13 HH), and Duck Tacos (5/5 $11 HH). The Mussels Mariniere was 20 or so steamed black mussels in a delightful sauce of shallots and garlic in white wine. Sadly, it was not served with bread to soak up the sauce. Each Duck Taco had a good amount of flavorful duck meat on cole slaw topped with a spicy aioli. They were fantastic!I'm glad we had Happy Hour here. We'll be back.

Meet in Paris is a fun upscale bistro in rather pedestrian Culver City that does remind me of my Paris visits. The service was outstanding by Elena who answered all my questions about the food and drinks It was $1.50 oyster day(Tuesdays). The oysters were small but tasty and high quality so I had 14 of them. I also love crab cakes so had a few of those and had to try the thick potato chips, as well as a Cosmopolitan. It costs me over $50 even though it was happy hour and since Elena did a fine job, I gave her a $20 tip.I subtract a star for high prices, below avg value and not taking cash, only cards.Recommended.

Very good Happy Hour and at a time when prices are rising everywhere and other places are cutting back or have ridiculous hours (like mid-afternoon). It's currently 7 days a week (not holidays) and 5 - 6:30. Plus the house red is excellent, better than some by-the-glass regular offers elsewhere for 60% - 100%. more. Our server, Baren, was on top of everything, very professional. We don't eat as much anymore so HH is perfect for us. Regular menu looks fab also. We love the ambience, not too loud for conversation, toasty fire pits and heaters, little white lights. We feel lucky to have this place so close. Bon appetite!
