Had an amazing dining experience! The pizza had the perfect balance of sweet and salty, and the truffle in the pasta was just right, rich but not overpowering.The service was just as impressive. The owner/chef is incredibly personable, greeting guests personally and making the experience feel extra special.Came here for my birthday, and the whole staff was so warm and welcoming. I'll definitely be back!

I made a reservation for 4 people (my dad, his best friend, myself, and my bf) for 6pm but we got hungry so I called and asked if we could possibly be moved up. The staff was so friendly and accommodating, allowing us to come immediately upon opening at 5pm.The restaurant was quiet, yet still felt lively. It was a little dark inside, but the small tabletop lights helped a lot. It was spotless from the dining area to the restrooms.They served us garlic rolls as a free starter, which were so flavorful and addicting! We ordered 1 Carne Pizza, 1 Shrimp Scampi, and 2 Rigatoni Bolognese. Everyone was extremely happy with their meals! My dad said the shrimp scampi was the best he's ever had. His friend really liked the pepperoni and meatballs(?) on his pizza.The portion sizes were filling- my dad finished his plate and was full, while the rest of us only had about 1 pizza slice/a few bites of pasta left (which we took to-go). They were generous with the shrimp and carne!The staff was also patient when I triple-checked on the birthday dessert- which was complimentary and looked decadent! If we lived closer (or are ever in the area), we'll definitely be repeat customers!

Make your reservation on line or call in. With a reservation we were seated right away. Nice place to grab dinner. Weekends are busier than usual.They have offer a great variety of Italian favorites. They also offer specials that are very flavorful. I tried the Truffle Cream Steak pasta special. It was absolutely delicious and should be added to the menu.

Was craving some spaghetti so decided to check out MA's Italian kitchen and ordered their spaghetti and meatballs for takeout. The portion was decent although it was pretty pricey. I'd give the spaghetti itself a good 7/10, as I wish it would've had more flavor and oomph to it. The garlic knots on the side were pretty good though! Seemed really nice inside so maybe will check out again but dine in. Service was nothing special.

On our way back from Six Flags, we stumbled upon this gem, thanks to the rave reviews--and wow, it did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in, the customer service was next-level. The staff was so welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed and then some.First surprise? Complimentary garlic knots that were so addictive, and they kept offering us more! Then came the food. I ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese, and let me tell you--it was bursting with flavor. The Chicken Marsala? Equally fantastic. Each bite had us raving.But the cherry on top? Since it was our first visit, they treated us to a complimentary dessert: the Butterscotch Budino. Think of it as a dreamy, deconstructed crème brûlée--rich, creamy, and unforgettable.We even had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was as warm and inviting as the rest of the experience. Honestly, I wish I lived closer so this could become my regular spot. If you're in the area, don't even think twice--check this place out. You'll leave with a happy heart and a full belly!

This is a really nice restaurant that is easy to miss. The restaurant is small but very nice on the inside and we enjoyed our dinner here. The staff members are extremely pleasant and go above and beyond to make sure your experience is top notch!The Pasta is excellent... we got 3 different types, all were delicious and I also got the Filet Mignon with a Creamy Mushroom Sauce, Mashed Potatoes and Vegetables. The flavor profile was on point but I ordered it medium rare as was suggested and the way I like it and it was definitely over. I had actually mention to the waiter how disappointed I was at another restaurant due to the steak being over cooked and was assured that would not be an issue. Unfortunately, it was. Next time... Ma's Italian Kitchen in Burbank is a hidden gem that really delivers. The vibe is cozy and inviting, with dim lighting and crisp white tablecloths that give it a touch of elegance. The ambiance sets the perfect mood for a relaxed evening. Parking is plentiful in the lot outside, which is rare in this area, making it easy to get in and start enjoying. I usually pass on calamari, but someone in our group really wanted to order it as an appetizer for the group. I'm so glad they did because it was exceptional--not at all chewy, just perfectly crispy and packed with flavor. It made me rethink my stance on calamari! For the main dishes, I ordered the rigatoni, and it was an absolute hit. The pasta was cooked perfectly, and the extra cheese they added was fresh and delicious, a detail that didn't go unnoticed.One of the things I really appreciate about Ma's Italian Kitchen is the range of options and substitutions they offer. Being able to swap out your noodles for spaghetti squash if you're doing a low carb diet or going with a vegan meat on the popular dishes instead is a fantastic touch. It's nice to know that I can bring friends with various dietary preferences here and feel confident they'll find something they can enjoy.The service was stellar from start to finish. Special shoutout to our waiter, Seth, who was friendly, attentive, and had us smiling all evening. Came here for a family night and was so delighted about our experience. It was my first time here at Ma's Italian kitchen and will definitely not be my last. It is located in a shopping center so has plenty of parking. Reservations are highly recommended as it's a smaller space but popular is an understatement. A quaint restaurant with maximized seating - yet there's something so comforting about the experience. A thing that stood out to me was that we got to meet the owner himself Michel who was so personable and walking around the whole place so warm and friendly making sure everyone was having a great time. I heard this was the norm so it's such a place to know he cares not only about his customers both regulars and non regulars and his staff alike. Just a fun busy environment that makes you feel right at ease and welcomed. Not only was the food filling, tasty and generously portioned- but the service made me feel like a VIP member or something. We always felt taken care of- our server Carlos gave us so much attention to detail and even recommended us some things off the menu as I'm super indecisive and wanted to try it all. I would definitely recommend requesting him as he had great wine recommendations and pairings to our food. I left highly satisfied and overstuffed as I gladly ate all the carb intake I would usually take in one week in one sitting haha. For the food we ordered so many things to share. I must mention a highlight that I don't see often; and if you're a seafood lover like me you may enjoy it too. Their clam pizza is unique and flavorful- hot and fresh from the oven, if you like clams this is a must try. They are NOT stingy with the amount of clams they put on that pizza so I indulged at every bite. Honorable mentions to their fresh garlic knots they provided and our order of fried mozzarella because this is the way to go if you want finger foods and are sharing. Our eyes were definitely bigger than our stomachs but just typing this out, I don't regret it one bit. From pastas, pizzas, full entries like steak or salmon to salads that are worth every bite, they have anything to fulfill your needs- even a vegan section which is amazing! Do NOT skip out on their desserts- the butterscotch budino is heavenly, rich and out of this world. And that cup of cappuccino gave me life to top the night off.Again thank you Carlos, Michel and Bruce and the rest of the staff that I can't list on top of my head. See you again!

Nice quaint spot. The food (pizza) was great! Wine selection was just okay. Not sure if they have a corkage fee.

Just....wow! Our new favorite Italian restaurant! My wife and I were feeling lazy and not wanting to cook on New Year's Eve. She found Ma's after a brief search and we headed out. We arrived to find about 10 people waiting outside (always a good sign), only to find that they were completely booked for the rest of the night. The owner, I missed his name, told us we could wait for a table or sit at the bar, which we did. Seth, our bartender and server, did an absolutely outstanding job of offering suggestions, making sure our glasses were never empty (a pet peeve of mine) and just generally making us feel welcome. We started with the garlic knots and Ricotta Meatball Toast. Both were on point, with just the right amount of fresh garlic and cheese.For dinner, my wife had the Eggplant Parmesan which was amazing, and I had the Chicken Piccatta which was quite possibly the best I've ever had, and that's saying a LOT. While we were contemplating our dessert options, Seth brought us a complementary Butterscotch Pudding topped with salted caramel sauce and fresh whipped cream. The owner shared with us that his mother taught him to offer his first time guests his very best dessert as a welcome offering. Amazing. The entire staff, from the owner on down, were incredibly warm and welcoming. Everyone had smiles on their faces and took obvious pride in their restaurant. Several servers stopped to check on us during the course of our meal even though we weren't in "their" sections. The service was the best we've had in a LONG time. I'm so glad we stumbled onto this little gem. I can't wait to go back! Thank you all!
