Came here for Sunday brunch on a rainy LA day. We dropped off our pup at a daycare down the street so we decided to stop in. The wait was long as expected but after about 30 mins waiting we found seats at the bar. We were able to catch the Eagles vs. Commanders game. Apart from the inital wait, service was fast. The staff was friendly. The food was really food. I ordered the Spicy Chorizo Benedict with a latte while my boyfriend opted for the Crispy Short Rib Hash and regular coffee. We ordered some Waffles to share. Both dishes were delicious! The waffles were pretty standard so we will be coming back to taste those pineapple upside down pancakes! Everything was fairly priced for LA standards. Parking was easy. They have parking spots in the back of the restaurant. They do offer a plethora of lunch/dinner options that I cannot wait to try.

Luckily, we were able to get reservations at marmalade on New Year's Eve. There were six of us.Marmalade kitchen closes on New Year's Eve at 8:00 PM so we got there early order dinner order drinks ordered some more drinks. Everything was perfect. The food was fantastic. We ordered cheesecake for dessert which was great and bread pudding and I think it was butter cake. All of it was yummy. They allowed us to stay a little later. So all in all, we had a great time

I've been here before. While it isn't bad, the prices are pretty high for what you receive. The food is delicious but not worth the prices in my opinion. The service was good, and our server was polite and gave good recommendations. Next time I will try sitting on the patio outside. Inside is open and there are no booths, so if you need a space for semi-private conversations, this isn't the place.

Okay...let's start with the ambiance; it is very charming. Met a friend there for brunch and it is located in a quaint and cute neighborhood. The parking is horrible but that is expected in a popular cafe like Marmalade but if it was possible to improve the parking situation I bet they would have more patrons. On to my breakfast, I was a little bummed that my potatoes were cold. I love breakfast potatoes in the morning and the waitress was overwhelmed because she was really busy. Handling more tables than she should have so that was a clear indication that maybe short staffed. I don't know, but I felt guilty having to ask her to warm them up. So I had cold potatoes. Pancakes were hot and that was a good thing. Wasn't the end of the world, I will eat there again and ask that my potatoes be brought to me hot and extra crispy.

We went there for brunch. Server was friendly and helpful. But the pasta I ordered was over greasy on the bottom. It's dripping oil close to the bottom. Environment was good, not too crowded but good to have friends to watch with. The shrimp pasta was the greasy among the other.

The ambiance is really nice and the food all looks really great. I think some parts of the meal just felt a bit underwhelming. The potatoes were room temp and very soggy. The hollandaise felt a bit underseasoned along with the eggs. The hash was crispy and was alright but also felt a bit underseasoned. The bread pudding was good as well but I felt the portions were a bit off, with a huge bread and not enough ice cream with it. It got a bit dry once you got to some parts. Overall, still a decent meal but I would aim to hit other brunch spots

When my mom asked where I am wanted to go for my birthday dinner, I thought about it for a minute and quickly decided I wanted to go to Marmalade. I do not regret that decision one bit. The food was fantastic and the service was even better. Our waitress was super attentive and really friendly. I enjoyed a lovely chat with her as we paid our bill. I've been to this location several times in the past and I'm sure I will be there several times in the future. Thanks, Marmalade, for making my birthday dinner great!

More like 3 1/2 stars. Wish we could do half stars. Not quite 3, not quite 4. Sampled a couple of pastas, one was Shrimp & Lobster, in a cream sauce, the other, Chicken Penne-Pesto. First on the Pesto pasta, excellent. Sauced just right, not too thick, not too thin. Great flavor and nice char on Chicken. And...the sliced Parm cheese was a real treat. The Shrimp / Lobster fettucini, likewise had excellent flavor and texture. A bit tangy-lemony, but good. The bad news is "they forgot the Lobster." Now that could be a big one, but the pasta was still good. I didn't notice that there wasn't any lobster, as I was engaged in conversation. Noticed next day eating leftovers. Last, the pan fried potstickers were "average," and ok, but nothing to write home about.

Great place for brunch! Was here over the weekend, while it was busy we were seated quickly. We chose to sit at the out patio, which was nice regardless of how warm it was out. I had the Spicy Chorizo Benedict, which was delicious! I also had the grilled artichoke as an appetizer which was so so good! The only real problem we had was the service, I got my appetizer a minute before my main meal came out. Trying to get our check took over five minutes. I'd like to think that they were just having an off day and will definitely go back.
