Love coming to this local DTLA deli for their fresh sandwiches. The workers here are always courteous and efficient. I always love ordering The Croissant Sandwich and the Pork Belly Banh Mi, paired with a cold drink. The sandwiches here use fresh ingredients and the sandwiches are very flavorful. Prices are reasonable for the area too. They have a small seating area downstairs and more tables upstairs. Highly recommend!

Conveniently across from The Bloc, this deli has affordable and delicious sandwiches. LA might be noisy, but this place is quiet and chill.

This is a small spot with some nice and courteous workers. I came here for a smoothie and they were quick to whip it out. The place is probably a bit dated but its convenience to the 7th and metro station is good. The prices from what I saw was also fair for the area.

Marie's Coffee and Deli is a great spot. I had the lemongrass chicken banh mi, and it was really good--simple, classic, and done right. The flavors were exactly what you'd expect from a solid banh mi, nothing out of the ordinary but executed really well.

Returned to Marie's and this time my banh mi came with a pasta salad! That was a pleasant surprise. I'm not a fan of olives but I'm sure anyone who like pasta salads and olives would enjoy this. Service was quick, there are tables to eat on inside as well as an upstairs section. The pork belly was soft and delightful, as was the rest of the sandwich. Parking is really bad in this area so I recommend taking the transit or walking here.

I had a ham, egg, cheese and tomato breakfast sandwich on a French baguette. If you work in the area and are looking for a quick bite to grab in the morning, I would most definitely recommend this deli/coffee. The sandwich was 7 dollars and change, for the area, I think that's more than a fair price for what you get.

This place is across the street from SculptDTLA and every time I go get my Botox injections I must come here for breakfast or lunch. For breakfast I really like the egg croissant sandwich with a bagel and cream cheese. For lunch I like the chicken or vegetarian bang mi.Must try if you're in LA

The pork belly banh mi was so good I was sad finishing it. The white sauce, which was probably mayo, is a nice addition I'm not used to in banh mis. It adds a bit of cool refreshment to the warm pork belly and spicy jalapenos. It also provides a nice texture to the baguette which can often be too chewy. The line is kind of long but don't let it discourage you because it moves fast. And the staff is super nice and friendly.

I don't know why it's taken me so long to write a review about this Marie's Coffee, because I've been coming here consistently for the last three years. This is truly a hidden gem in DTLA and it's a perfect snapshot of a genuine family business that never skips a beat in terms of quality and efficiency. The owners, Marie and Phil, know me by name and everything about my life. They know my coworkers' orders by heart, and ask about all of us even when we're not there in person to pick up an order. I've had pretty much everything on the menu from breakfast, to smoothies, to lunch. Standouts are all of their breakfast bagels, but most including the veggie bagel breakfast, all of their salads (my favorite being the arugula or chicken salad, and all sandwiches are solid. But I will say without a doubt that their Banh Mi's are some of the best that I've had in LA, and they offer them with chicken or pork. They are simple and stuffed to the brim with flavor, and the bread is the perfect texture between soft and flakey. Phil and Marie being Vietnamese bring true authenticity to this classic, and man oh man... both versions are absolute fire!! This is a solid, well rounded deli that is competitively priced, never lacks in quality, and kills you with kindness when you're there. I adore this place.

One of the best delis in LA. Their bread is amazing and ingredients all taste super fresh. Also the staff is very kind and respectful. Whenever I'm in LA I always try to get a sandwich from Marie's.
