We loved Marea in NYC and were thrilled when it opened in LA. Fresh off its debut in January 2025, the Beverly Hills location stays true to the original with the same stunning marble bar and warm wood paneling--it's just as elegant and inviting.I was happy to see my favorite Astice on the menu, and the Pappardelle with crab was the standout dish of the night--absolutely delicious. The Gnochetti with shrimp was also very good, and we appreciated how generous they were with the seafood in all the pasta dishes. Everything felt indulgent and well-balanced. We finished with the Bombolini donuts, which were incredibly fresh and the perfect sweet ending.Service was polished, and the overall experience felt special, just like in NYC. Excited to have Marea in LA!Insider's Tip: Valet is $20 at dinner time.

Marea--amazing as always. We loved going to Marea when we lived in New York and so we were super excited to hear that they recently opened in Beverly Hills! We went in with high hopes and everything tasted just as good as the location in New York! Highlights were the fusili--a must get dish of pasta with red wine braised octopus with bone marrow--and the crudi and the dover sole which were all super fresh. Also don't forget to get the tiramisu for dessert! It's shaped like a coffee bean which is cool and tastes delicious. Can't wait to go back!

I was spoiled to have celebrated my birthday at Marea, I had bookmarked it since it opened. We went on the night of the Grammys, and spotted a few celebrities there like John Legend and Jlo. Every dish was thoughtfully curated, and experience reflected sophistication and attention to detail. We began with the Avocado filled with spot prawn tartare, a beautifully decorated, and it was light, refreshing, and a perfect way to start the meal.Next, the Bruschetta topped with Kluge caviar and burrata was pure indulgence. The contrast between the rich, buttery caviar, the creamy burrata, and the crisp toast was delicious. The Assaggio Di Tre was a wonderful tasting selection that highlighted the chef's craftsmanship, allowing us to experience a range sashimi, one set had caviar on top it was nice. For mains, the Sogliola topped with Kluge caviar was a standout. The delicate, perfectly cooked sole paired beautifully with the luxurious caviar, making for a dish that felt both indulgent and refined. The Cavolo Nero, a side of Tuscan kale, was rich in flavor. Almost forgot out the Marbini, it was rich in flavor, creamy and indulgent. Perfect addition to all the seafood we had. To end on a sweet birthday note, the Tiramisu was the perfect balance of airy mascarpone, espresso-soaked layers, and just the right amount of sweetness, with a side of gelato, both was perfectly paired. On top of that I had the waiter sing along a birthday song to me that was the highlight. Marea has the elegant ambiance, impeccable service, and masterfully executed dishes, this restaurant is perfect to celebrate any occasion, highly recommend.

An upscale vibe and high level service without the snobby and rude demeanor. Super welcoming and inviting vibe! We sat in the patio which I recommend for lunch especially on a nice sunny day. I enjoyed everything we ordered and would come back again to try other things. My favorite bite was the Uni crostini but the bite that is making me dream of coming back to this place is the marubini pasta. The ricotta filled ravioli was so delicious that as we were eating we were talking about how we need to come back again to have this pasta again

Went there this past Saturday night and had the most incredible experience! Marea is simple but beautiful at the same time. The bar is gorgeous. The dining room is mostly unadorned but perfect as it feels very old school LA. The restaurant was full, but did not feel overcrowded. Now for my favorite part - the amazing and delicious food we had! The menu is filled with several different options that would make anyone happy. The appetizers we got were absolutely incredible. I can still taste the amazing yellowtail/caviar crudo and the caviar bruschetta. To die for! We followed that with the ultra tasty shrimp gnochetti and the dover sole with caviar. Tons of different flavors coming together perfectly! Our drinks were also utterly perfect and super smooth. I can't wait to go back to try more things. Service was also impeccable. Our waitress was incredibly welcoming, kind, and knowledgeable. She made sure that all allergies were accommodated and she constantly checked in to make sure we were enjoying everything. Highly recommend and will be back often!

Marea Beverly Hills is an absolute gem! As soon as you enter, you're greeted by stunning interior decor, highlighted by a captivating portrait of Sofia Loren that sets the tone for an elegant dining experience. The ambiance is beautiful and inviting, making it the perfect setting for a memorable meal. The food is nothing short of divine, with the Dover sole, Bruschetta, and Astice being a standout dishes that are expertly prepared and incredibly flavorful. I also highly recommend their whiskey sour, which is perfectly balanced, and the dessert that is simply to die for! What truly sets Marea apart is the warmth and kindness of Marco Marino. His welcoming demeanor and exceptional hospitality made our visit even more special. He went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, making us feel like valued guests. Without a doubt, Marea Beverly Hills is the best Italian restaurant in town!

There's nothing more delightful than having our favorite Italian restaurant in NYC open a spot in Beverly Hills! Just a little over two weeks old, the restaurant dining room was already bustling at 5:15 p.m. on a Saturday. I'm guessing a weekend dinner reservation might be hard to come by when more and more people discover this gem. Thankfully, I just saw (on their website) that they're now open for lunch daily. On to the food. As much as we love their superb pasta dishes, such as the Casarecce (full of lump crab meat, with a spicy kick from the calabrian chile), the dishes you should definitely try are the starters and appetizers. The Ricci, in particular, presents such a wonderful combination of flavors, especially when the thin, translucent film of lardo starts to melt when you bite into the sea urchin. The Polipo is also a must-try, with superbly tender octopus paired with morsels of potato that were smoked before being deep-fried. And if you think after all this, you don't have room for dessert, reach deep and find that dessert stomach, because there is something you won't want to miss -- the Tiramisu. Beautifully molded like a giant espresso bean, It is almost like ice cream inside a chocolate shell. Really smooth and delicate, without the cake-like texture of the lady fingers. And finally, I just have to say something about the service. It was impeccable. The staff were very professional yet approachable. Our server enjoyed talking about the food as much as we enjoyed eating it! Plus, the main dining area (where we were seated) was just lovely: think warm lighting in an open, convivial space. Try to snag booth seating if you can, so you can watch the crowd!

I love this place in NY and I always make it a point to dine there when I go to NY. And they're in my backyard?!?!!! Oh man I couldn't wait to go and so glad I did. It's as if they literally transported the restaurant from NY to Beverly Hills. Cause the ambience and atmosphere is the same except the Central Park view, lol. Of course service is par non amazing and friendly as expected. And the food...omg the food!!! It's exactly what LA needs because the food isn't like anywhere else. It's daring, adventurous, unique and just delicious!

Excellent restaurant, such an elegant place and the food is at the highest level. Staple dishes that are executed to perfection. Perfect for a business dinner, date night, or a dinner with friends. Great addition to the neighborhood, really needed a restaurant here like this.

Food poisoning alert!Place was nice. The servers and bussers were nice. Service was slow. Gave this place 2 stars because the staff really seemed like they were trying. The food was the real problem.I ordered the artichoke salad which was mediocre at best. The crudo trio with caviar was not fresh. It was very fishy to be exact and tasted like the fish had been left out at room temperature for more than a day. Probably the source of my severe food poisoning tonight. The caviar bruschetta was a decent bite, but nothing special. The lobster buratta tasted like an appetizer you'd get in a long haul airline meal - I've had better airplane food. Lobster was overcooked and the buratta was watery.Fusilli with octopus was barely edible - the octopus was overcooked to the point where it just became mush when you bit into it.Doversole with caviar sauce was ok but nothing special.Tiramisu was decent. The best bite of the night were the chocolate bon bons at the end. And they probably got them from And Sons.On top of it all, the food was grossly overpriced for what you're getting (and this is coming from someone who'd regularly spend $1k+ on a meal).I really don't understand the reviews raving about the food, because NOTHING was done well. But I guess if you just saved up your months pay and are spending at least $200 per person (before drinks), might as well pretend you had a good time right?
