Talk about the ultimate comfort food! The pho here is my go-to place! So flavorful Always opt for the filet mignon comes with all the extra greens and the meat is so fresh. The service here keeps us coming back. Always helpful and willing to offer suggestions. No wonder this place is so highly reviewed. In case you're wondering why no photo- food so good forgot to take pics

I've eaten at Mama Hongs several times over the years and quality has been good, but my experience tonight was mixed. The appetizer trio was average quality but the noodles in my filet mignon pho tasted like a dirty sponge (that sharp stinky smell you get when a wet sponge sits out for too long). The music/ ambiance in the restaurant was ideal for young people who like pop, but not to my taste. Since that is subjective, I'm only taking the food into account for the score. I won't be going back.

I was in the area, looking for a new place to eat. This place looked good. Table service. Wait to be seated. I was advised I could choose anywhere, so I chose the corner booth near the window. Booths line both sides of the restaurant with a row of tables on the right hand side. I ordered the chicken pho and guava jasmine green tea with boba. The food and drink were delicious. The boba has the perfect chewiness. $7.50 with the boba. Large pieces of sliced chicken in my pho. $16.50 for a small bowl. Service was great. I would definitely be back if I'm in the area.

I ordered the combo meat Pho and the broth was very weak and light colored with no flavor. Also ordered the cream cheese won tons which were amazing and why I gave 3 stars. The pho was so disappointing I won't be back.

Mama Hong's is a fun Vietnamese cuisine based restaurant. Located right in the heart of Burbank, on San Fernando Blvd., this restaurant is very accessible and there's tons of parking all over the area, so that should never be a problem. What this restaurant offer is a very nice selection of Vietnamese based cuisine They offer all of the traditional things you would expect from a Vietnamese restaurant: Pho, Banh Mi, plus a whole lot of other dishes to suit every pallet. This is a fairly large restaurant. They have very nice booths on both walls, as well as some interior tables. You can also sit outside, as Burbank has made outdoor dining table space available. The staff are all very nice. They are quick to take your order. Plus, your oder will arrive quickly. The only thing that I find kind of weird about this business is that they have a storage unit in their men's restroom. They store all of their chemicals, plus they have locker facilities in this bathroom as can be seen in one of the photographs I provided. Though I suppose there's nothing wrong with this, it just seems a little bit strange.Overall, if you're in Burbank and you want some great Vietnamese food, this is the place to go.

I can't tell you how often my wife and I have walked past Mama Hong's over the years we've frequented Burbank. Every time we ended up getting distracted and trying our safe options, but not today! With the colder weather, my better half wanted pho so we made a beeline straight to Mama Hong's.They apparently close the restaurant at 2:30 and reopen at 4, which we didn't know as we rolled in around 2. They still sat us and got our order in before the kitchen closed (whew!). There's a lot of seating inside but it can get elbow to elbow with other customers during peak times. Restrooms are in the back down some stairs, but they also have a little handicap elevator if anyone's in a wheelchair (nice touch that I rarely see). The food came out really fast and the employees were really friendly. The missus order the Chicken Breast Pho while I had the Grill Combination. Both were really good with generous portions. If you're worried about being rushed to finish up due to their mid-afternoon closing, fear not - you can take your time, so no need to wolf anything down! If you do come before they close, the only rush is just to place your order before the kitchen closes.Overall we really liked Mama Hong's - if you're walking around downtown Burbank, give them a shot! It hits really good on cold days! Spoiler alert - they charge a 10.25% sales tax, which we didn't notice at first but whatever.

First time trying Mama Hong's. I was reading up on all the hype so I finally tried almost everything on the menu. Just going to grade 1-5 on what I had to get to the point. Steak pho with shrimp add on , gave it a 4. Broth was ok, noodles on point, protein was good. Added veggies which was broccoli, carrots and bokchoy. The shrimp was good. Downside a large steak pho add shrimp and veggies around $30 and it wasn't worth $30Cream cheese Rangoons without crab - 5. Perfectly cooked with the exact sweet and sour sauce it came with. Fried rice with sausage chicken and shrimp - 4. The sausage was ok, underwhelming almost. I'd just stuck with shrimp and chicken Fried rice. Chicken egg rolls - 4. It was good and served hot Chicken pho - protein kind of bland. Chicken sandwich (forgot the name) but it was a rotated roll, with mayo, chicken and this was pretty good packed full of flavor. There are better pho places out there but I even as close to 10Waiting to be seated took 20 min Took home leftovers xoxo

Decent place. Can be take out or sit down. Teas were yummy but the boba were tire rubber hard. The pho and stew pho were up to standard. Our favorite was the salt and pepper wings cuz the texture was crispy and was really flavorful. Even the peppers were polished off.

Stopped by this restaurant for dinner, because I had the other restaurant down near LA and i absolutely loved it. Took my friends here to see if they liked it as well. I loved the vibe and ambiance of the restaurant, its setup like it was a very fancy dining area. The service was good, we went probably an hour before closing and I'm sure all the workers wanted to go home. So I ordered the spicy garlic chicken noodles, and to be honest it was not the same as the original one I tried. This one lacked a lot of flavor and spice to it, and this one had a lot less noodles in it from what I remembered. Overall a little disappointed with this dish, but we also shared the sriracha honey wings and these were actually really good and I wanted to order some more. My friends loved their foods and they said it was very tasteful and they're willing to come back.

My favorite dishes here are the vermicelli bowls with grilled meat--delicious! There is often a wait to be seated but this visit I was able to sit right away at a booth at the window with a nice view of people passing by outside. I only saw the server once to take my order and after the food was delivered when she brought the bill--she was very nice and attentive when she was interacting but I would have appreciated a check to see how things were going at least once. Love the food here and will definitely be back
