By far, one of the best restaurants out here in North Hollywood. I'm so glad I don't have to travel all the way down to Little Tokyo for some delicious curry. The staff is super friendly. The store is extremely clean. I loved everything about it. They have different kinds of drinks. I love the selection of sake. I got my daughter some pocky sticks and some cute Japanese hard candy. This place is gonna be a new favorite of mine. The food was so good. I forgot to take a photo of it. But I'll definitely be coming back.

Maki Togo is not where people would think they would find a neat little Asian fusion spot. Right off the Noho Metro line on Lankershim, you can walk a block to a Ford dealership called Sunrise Ford. Inevitably, salesmen will ask if you need help finding a car. Tell them you're there for the food and they'll simply vanish, off to find someone else to try and sell a car to. Walk through the automatic doors and take a left at the reception desk; you can't miss it.Maki Togo is authentic and always prepared fresh. I know car dealership sushi doesn't sound like a great idea, but you need to trust me--it's worth it, and you can't beat the prices or portions. Every roll you order typically comes with sides and even though the menu isn't massive, the food is consistently good. You won't be disappointed. Some of my favorite non-sushi dishes are the don katsu, salmon poke bowl, and chicken teriyaki. The ramen isn't bad either! And if you like it spicy, tell them.

We ordered the cauliflower, Don Katsu box meal and a California roll. Everything was freshly made with quality ingredients and carefully boxed into compostable containers. If you eat pork, I highly recommend the Don Katsu! The meat was perfectly moist and flavorful with a lovely crisp breading. Along with this comes a side of potato salad (which is to die for!) and a side of freshly steamed edamame. The California roll was everything you could ask for- creamy, crunchy and delish! Lastly, the breaded cauliflower is perfectly seasoned and breaded with just the right amount of crisp! We were very pleased with the quality ingredients!! The price is unbelievably reasonable for North Hollywood! Do yourself a favor and check this place out!
