Service - I would give it 4 out of 5 (messed up our drinks) Food - I would give it 3 out of 5 (small portions for high prices, not worth it) Food presentation was nice. Ambiance - Music playing in background, People are happy for entertainment. (All tables were full on Saturday night)

Too much to say so I'm going to keep it short because less is more... Take a moment to go read the lowest rating reviews. Pay attention and please don't ignore. Then go find yourself another restaurant to attend because this one isn't it. Unprofessional, rude and it's a joke of an establishment.

From start to finish, the experience was incredible. We had a party of 9, but OpenTable only allows reservations for 8 max. I emailed the restaurant, and they promptly replied, accommodating all 9 of us. That level of responsiveness and care set the tone for the night. Our server was outstanding--she's one of the twin servers and truly made our evening special. She explained the menu clearly, recommended amazing drinks, and was so attentive throughout the meal. I tried the Lady Yakuza cocktail, and let me just say--it was amazing! The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. I ordered the Teppanyaki dinner set with prime filet mignon, and it was perfection. We were celebrating a friend's birthday , and the staff made it extra special with sake shots for all of us. The ambiance was just as incredible--great for taking photos and the perfect spot to hang out with friends. Whether you're there for a celebration or just a night out, Maison Kaison delivers on all fronts: food, drinks, service, and atmosphere.

HIGH END HIBACHI! This place is so cool! Delicious hibachi or a la carte. I had a wild mushroom. Everything was detailed and high end. Great vibes and at Level 8 connected to wanderlust bar! 8 experiences. Def must try for anyone coming DTLA

When asked if this lace was like a benihana, as it was tepen grill spot, I was told it was "Upscale", gotta admit the vibe was cool but the drinks where c re azy expensive and the food we all ordered was below par, for it being a Dine LA menu and a Michelin star chef creation, we where not impressed and left very disappointed! My meal "chicken" was under cooked (raw) in the center, they did not charge me for it but still that ruined the whole night for me!

I came here for a friend's birthday and really enjoyed the service. I believe my server's name was Dion. She was hilarious and made the experience so much fun. The restaurant itself was really pretty, but the set up was a bit funky. The flow of traffic seemed off as it was difficult to move past other tables to get to the bathrooms. I really enjoyed my food. However, I do not think it was worth the price point. I understand small servings, but the creativity behind the dishes did not grab me. I also felt the menu lacked some diversity. I felt almost stuck ordering things I did not necessarily want because I had no other options. Don't get me wrong. I did enjoy what I ate, but I would not be rushing to go back.

Had an incredible time when we came for a work dinner last month. The food was incredible as were the drinks. Loved the interactive element and the group had a great experience. The entire concept is really fun and there's something there for everyone. Our server was fantastic, I wish I could remember his name but he went above and beyond to make it a memorable experience for us.

My partner and I came here for a celebratory dinner. The place it self is very aesthetically pleasing. The host, servers, and cook are very courteous. We got here a little early for our reservation and waited 15 mins thinking it was busy, we were the first customers to arrive and had a table all to our selves. The place was fairly empty partly because of the wildfires. We decided to get the ala cart option--mushroom salad, scallops, black cod, and wasabi mash potato. The food was beautifully presented and the live cooking was great! We didn't realize the meal came with fried rice because the mash potato wouldn't have been ordered if we were aware. I thought the food was generally ok with the exception of dishes being salty and very oily. It was a good experience over all but felt like the food didn't live up to expectations. I would highly suggest that they reconsider salting the dishes when they already use soy sauce for the dish it self. I would also encourage them to reconsider the amount of oil and butter used because it just made the food greasy and it wasn't enjoyable after consuming a certain amount.

Located at the multi-purpose venue Level 8, Maison Kasai is the perfect date night spot! The ambiance of the entire place is dark and sultry, with the restaurant hidden behind a heavy door that the host escorts you through. The actual restaurant itself is gorgeous on the inside, with beautiful slick teppanyaki grills and a modern interior! I got the teppanyaki dinner with the USDA Prime Chateaubriand, and I opted for the squash blossom. I think the sauces made by the chef were definitely the standout part of our dinner! He had specific sauce recommendations for each of our dishes, and I opted for the soy glaze sauce. The meat was cooked perfectly, and I also loved the fried rice. I know it's pricey, but I think it was worth the splurge for the entire experience! The service was phenomenal, and we got treated to a small magic show while we were waiting. We ended up walking out on the Level 8 patio after finishing our dinner, which capped off a perfect LA night.

Love the concept of this space with 8 different locations in level 8. Maison kasai was a great deal for dinner 6-7pm for $65 that included 3 courses. The first course was a salad and entree you had choice of burger, fish, chicken or veggie dish. All included fried rice as the concept was hibachi. I chose the fish but the dish was cooked with so much oil it left my stomach hurting and meal overall not good. Fried rice and dessert was great. Recommend this spot for a large group with a great price! This location includes plenty of fun cocktails, food truck and a club to visit after dinner.
