Came back here and tried the wonton soup. It was excellent! I love my flavors light and delicate, and that's exactly what it was. The wontons were generous in size, with a solid amount of filling (the skin was a bit thicker than expected, but still great) and what impressed me the most was the delicate soup. Had a slight amount of kelp mixed in, which added to the flavor. So good! Also got the empty heart, vegetables, which were excellent! Not too oily, and seasoned well. Other things that we got that I felt were decent, but probably wouldn't re-order. The fish and pickled vegetable soup, the portions were huge, and the flavor of the soup was actually really good, but unfortunately, the tilapia just wasn't the freshest tasting, unfortunately. This might also be the fact that I'm just not a huge fan of tilapia in general, especially in soup. Got the pork, knuckles, too, great portion size. Overall, pretty decent, but slightly over flavored on the star anise and honestly just a bit overly tenderWould love to come back and see if it's possible to get vermicelli added to this. Great service, very fast, and great value!

Braised Beef Soup + Sour Plum Drink = Yummy Combo! Also, ordered a braised pork combo to go. The place was clean and quaint. The servers were so friendly! Brasised Beef Noodle Soup: Fresh Noodles ( you can tell by the texture ) , broth is flavorful -- filled with chinese spices and seasonings, meat was tender and juicy, but the only thing is it is pretty oily. Sour Plum was a perfect combo bc it wasn't to sweet and added a balance to the savory soup! The braised pork combo , was amazing! The meat was tender, crunchy vegetables, and loose rice. Highly recommend if you're in the area! They have a lot of delicious looking chinese dishes on their menu

I randomly found this restaurant on Yelp. The restaurant was much smaller than I imagined. Not that it really matters. hahaha. They don't have many table so definitely don't come here with a big group. We only ordered the Veg Fried Rice and the Braised Beef w Rice. Both dishes were good. I didn't order noodles so I need to try it next time. Anyway, I wished that Christine person didn't write about the hair in the food. This will hurt the business and people who enjoyed the food. It's obviously an accident.

I was craving beef soup, so found this place on yelp. We had braised beef soup, the soup was good, but wasn't that great. The restaurant is cute small, the parking is very small. We saw one car scratched of its one side really bad, as he was trying to turn into the parking space.

When hunger strikes and you crave some stew,Luyixian's the place that'll pull you through.Braised pork rice with tender little bites,And noodles so bouncy, they're pure delights. The flavors are rich, the broth full of grace,Though parking's a challenge in this bustling space. The service is swift, the meals come quick,But mind the hair -- it can ruin the pick.Still, the beef noodle soup will steal your heart,With noodles that bounce and beef that's top of the chart.Though it's a bit cozy and not too pristine,The flavors they serve are bold and serene. So grab a seat, enjoy the vibe,And dive into noodles that make you feel alive!

Parking: There is a tiny parking lot with underground parking in the plaza. It is a very old plaza so the parking spots are very small (for cars from the 90s). Parking can get difficult later in the day.Interior: The restaurant is rather spacious. There were plenty of seats available when I arrived at 12 pm on a Saturday. Everything was pretty clean.Service: The waitress was friendly and the food came out pretty quickly. Food: I ordered the braised pork rice. It was pretty good. They used actual pork chopped into small pieces rather than minced meat like most places. The meat was tender and not overly salty or oily. Overall it was a decent meal but a bit pricey for what would be considered street food. It is still worth trying if you like braised food.

Delicious! Great hole-in-the-wall spot for soup noodle. The prices were decent for the area. The star of the meal for me was the house special boiled fish. This was enormous and enough for at least two people. It had baby bok choy, bean spouts, and glass noodles. The spice level was perfect for me. I liked their take on the dan dan noodles. It was pretty simple without any veggies. Thus, it paired nicely with the garlic cucumber (side dish).

We visited the restaurant around 1 PM on a saturday, and it was fully seated, so we shared a large round table with another group of 2. We ordered braised beef noodles ($15.99) and braised pork rib noodles ($13.99), and the food came out fast. The portions of the meat were generous, and it was immaculate in terms of both texture and flavor. The pork rib came right off the bone, and the braised beef was even softer. While the meat alone definitely deserves a 5 star, the soup and noodles were underwhelming in comparison. Both dishes used the same broth, and it was bland. Additionally, I wasn't fond of the noodle's slightly floury/sticky texture... Nevertheless, I am interested in coming back in the future to try other dishes.

Great place for braised beef noodle soup and rice bowls. The braised beef is tender, good quality meat, the soup is very flavorful one of the best beef broth I had. We did takeout and was impressed by their packaging - the soup and braised beef are in a deep bowl with noodles and slices of beef on a separate tray on top, you mixed the two when ready to eat so the noodles don't get soggy.

Tried out this little place for dinner and it wasn't too busy and we were able to be seated right away. This spot is super low key casual and feels like eating at your aunt's home (especially the door to the second dining area). The servers were kind enough to bring us water with large cups so you don't have to keep pouring/filling. FOOD: We ordered the Braised Pork Rice dish with peppers and Braised Beef Noodles soup. I will say that the flavors were not as salty as other places I've had, but flavors were not as strong as I'd have liked. - The beef chunks in the noodle soup were on the tough side but the noodles were soft and soup was pretty tasty. - The pork cubes with rice was pretty tasty as well. The dish came with a small bowl of soup. Parking: The lot on site is shared with other establishments so during rush hour it can get pretty packed. But there is an underground parking lot where more spaces can be found.
