This is my second time here, and I totally forgot how good the pho was! I came here last year and I don't remember it being so delicious. The four of us had pho, and all were happy! The summer rolls an egg rolls were also a delight. The egg rolls could be a little better, as for as crispness.I also ordered the Vietnamese coffee, and was scared it wasn't going to be Vietnamese Vietnamese, but it wasn't too bad. 8/10I definitely think they need to hire most staff. The day we went, the server took care of the entire restaurant himself! Luckily, everyone was understanding and patient, but I felt so bad! Parking- plenty Pricing- very reasonable

Well, this place isn't bad, but it isn't good either. For all the frou-frou new-agey attitude that it tries to project, it isn't really that in terms of food or service. "I am a warrior of light." is painted on the walls in the front. Right. This place uses two bad things in its food right off the bat that show it isn't any damn different that most average local slop-houses: MSG and canola oil. Most disappointing. It is somewhat veg-friendly, which I will say is a plus, although the choices in this category are meager. The service isn't exactly bad -- it is a small place usually run adequately by just one server -- but those servers are usually younger people that just expect to put in the bare minimum and aren't used to (admittedly) difficult customers (like myself). Such patrons need certain questions answered and concerns addressed. I was told different things by different people on different visits about certain ingredients in the food, and I don't appreciate being lied to. OK, enough with the negativity. Here's the good side. They serve a VERY strong Thai iced tea, and a nice quantity, too. You'll be a-zoomin' through your day. But then again, they have to compete for your caffeine dollar with the Starbucks next door. The "Curry Bites" are crunchy little sambusas generously seasoned with Vietnamese curry. Although dunk-fried in a mix that includes the afore-mentioned crapola oil, they are veg and tasty and served with the proper garnishments. I was willing to overlook a lot about this place because of these little suckas. Although lousy with "headache powder" (MSG), the veggie pho was satisfying and served with the appropriate accoutrements. And you can always get a fried egg or two on the side if you're feelin' the need.L&L recently added a semi-smart thing: a weekend breakfast menu to attempt to capitalize on neighboring Bea-Bea's copious morning overflow. (Bea-Bea's is one of the finest breakfast places in the area!) I don't know what they have that would be comparable, though; fried eggs served on a banh mi bun? I don't think anyone who just couldn't wait for BB's would be satisfied with this last-minute substitute, but I don't know. I can never get there early enough to try it. They stop serving it promptly at noon, and only on Saturdays and Sundays."Om?" No. More like, "Eh."

Stopped by last night at 9:24 PM after a long, cold day in the area. The restaurant advertises that it's open until 11 PM (as listed on Yelp), so my group of four thought it would be the perfect spot for a late dinner. However, upon walking in, the server informed us they wouldn't seat us because they were "closing early for cleaning." Honestly, the place looks dead and I feel like they just want to close up shop. There was no signage at the door indicating an early closure, which was incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. We were left scrambling for another option after counting on their posted hours. Fortunately, we ended up at a nearby Thai restaurant where the food and service were excellent--10/10. Needless to say, we won't be coming back here (unless a friend really wants to).

Service 3/5Average service with one server on duty at lunch. A little disappointed the mediocre attention given but service was friendly Food 3/5Speaking only for the Banh Mi sandwiches which are a bit dry since there's so much bread. Pandan waffles are also quite plain too not what I'm expecting. Parking 4/5 Shared parking lot with other businesses and often times there's street parking

Loved my experience at this place for a Tuesday lunch! There was only 1 server on site, which I assume is due to less customers during the week, but he did a fantastic job of taking care of all the tables and had a great attitude the entire time. The atmosphere was very pleasant, with plants decorating every nook and crany and light wood tones through out.I ordered the Vegan Stir Fry Vermicelli because of the additional vegetables listed and was not disappointed! The tofu was not as crispy as it could have been, but very well seasoned. I loved that they separated the leaves of the bok choy and chopped the stems into rounds for a more even cooking. The fish sauce and pickled vegetables added a great balance of favor and texture to the dish as well. The Pork fried egg rolls were deliciously crispy and arrived quickly. Extremely satisfied with this place!

Located in a business strip. They have a shared parking lot which is small to medium. Had to circle around a couple times before getting a parking spot.Once in, we were quickly greeted and seated. The space looks open and light and the name fits. I ordered the beef with rice dish. The cubes of beef were small chopped. The beef tasted was good. A bit salty but eating it with the veggies and rice helped balanced it out.Service was fast and friendly.

One of my new favorite spots to get Pho! The staff is always welcoming, friendly and attentive. The inside is very clean and love the vibes. The spring rolls are so good. And the pho has me coming back time and time again! Highly recommend visiting Lotus and Light!

This place impressed us when they opened in our neighborhood. It was exciting, not so exciting now. Keep up with the upkeep please. It looks like a used place now vs a hip new eatery. The last attempt for "to go" not really enjoyable...burned and soaked in dripping oil.

VIETNAMESE FOODs FROM whatt kind of pLaNET?? There ain't no Vietnamese here besides the names. One star for the spring rolls and the sauce...everything else was disgusting. My aunt ordered chicken pho. It was somewhat cold. WTH They dumped a few big pieces of white chicken. They didn't even bother to cut the chicken to smaller pieces. SMH!!The fish sauce wings were HORRIBLE!! Right when we bite into it, we noticed the raw areas. When we notified one of the employees, she told us to put the wings back onto the plate. Guess what? They brought those back and recooked it. Eww? So unsanitary!! Gross! When they brought it back out, it was burnt looking on the outside. However, the inside was still somewhat raw. I would think they would ask if we want something else or if we want to cancel the order. Ridiculous. So unprofessional. The pork rice plate was NO GoOD! The rice was ok, but the pork was so charred up. That was all we tasted. My aunt ain't even picky with food. She said this was the most disgusting restaurant she ever been to lolOne of my aunts even got diarrhea after eating here. We ain't sure if it was the raw wings or the cold pho. Maybe both...lol the restaurant looked nice, but the menus were really old & ugly. It was papers on a clipboard. One of my aunts thought they wanted us to fill out some forms... My mom said the RR smelled so bad. I got scared to go in. Byeee
