I've been to Lolo's multiple times throughout the past year and recommended it as my go to wine bar spot. However, I was shocked this time around because the already small portion sizes have shrank even more. When I ordered my steak (which had already risen in price), it came with two potato's split in half. which is INSANE to call it a 'side'. Our bill was almost $200 for three dishes and two glasses of wine because for a table of two, there was an automatic 20% gratuity added as well. We were still starving afterwards and the price did not justify the meal we had at ALL.

OBSESSED WITH THIS PLACE!!My work besties and I met up here for a catch-up and the vibes were vibing! The bread + butter was hella good, the caesar was hella good, the crispy potatoes were hella good, and don't get me started on the brown butter cookies. we also ordered a tortelloni dish which was sooooo creamy and delicious. this place lives rent free in my head and the perf date spot! (; oh and I almost forgot to mention that the orange wine?!?!? TOOOOOOO GOOD. I'll go back just for that wine and that wine alone! The service was also very nice, I couldn't have asked for a better experience, truly. shoutout to the besties for putting me on to this gem!!

Had a reservation at 8:30 on a Friday night and was seated by 8:50. The service and ambience was great but for the price the food and portions were nothing to write home about. I had a lovely evening but would probably not visit again given the plethora of nice restaurants in LA. -Orange wine: good-Chilled red wine: good, very light if you're into that-Burrata and peaches: if I'm paying $18 I want an entire burrata ball. The peaches were great, the toast it came with was questionably too charred/black. -little gem Caesar: this was our favorite thing we ordered. Very solid Caesar with dressing dispersed evenly -cacio e pepe: very yummy-cavateli: also yummy, I like the cacio e Pepe more

Perfect for a nice catch up with friends. Lovely ambiance. I wish there was more by the glass options, especially for sparkling wines, but otherwise would visit again soon!

A candlelit dinner, a wine lounge and hummus served with grapes, are all found here. It was one of the best date nights I have had in a while. A beautiful secluded restaurant that features patio seating and a wonderful wine selection. I ordered the Brown Butter Hummus (this dish would be considered vegetarian for some) but I really wanted to try something different! So happy I did, the flavors had me melting in my seat, so so good! I've never experienced grapes with hummus before and now I can't think of a better combination. My main course was the Pomodoro Pasta, it was a chef's special since their other vegan option wasn't available at the time. The sauce itself was incredible, I'm a sauce girl so extra points for that lol. The whole dinner experience was truly lovely, hoping to visit again.

Gorgeous wine bar with great food!-- Atmosphere -- The parking is a little tough during the weekdays / traffic hours but you can find meter parking by Shakeys and walk a block. You need to walk through a black gate that's generally closed to enter the venue. Trust me, the inside is beautiful. This place is great for 2-4 people, there are small round tables for smaller groups but there's also a lounge area for larger groups. They have wine fridges in the back with a friendly Sommelier, she was super helpful and attentive when I was picking out the wine.-- The Wine -- They have a great selection of wine bottles and wine by the glass that range in different types (Sparkling, Orange, etc). Their wines range between $16-$18 by the glass, you can also get a bottle of wine to open (though there's corkage fee, this is standard).I ordered their sparkling on the menu and it was delicious, super refreshing and super unique, it was a natural wine. Everyone else at my table was pretty happy with their selections as well.-- The Food --The menu there is made for shared / family style. We ordered:- 3 Appetizers to start, they were all very delicious but the memorable ones were the Crudo with Cherries (it wasn't fishy at all, the sweetness & crunch toppings really made this special) Burrata with Tomatoes (the burrata was fluffy and a completely different texture than what I'm used to, and it was absolutely amazing. It was lightly sweetened with honey & balsamic, and the tomatoes they used were to die for).- For the greens, we ordered the Zucchini and while it was delicious, I wished we also had ordered the Little Gem Salad. If you're a veggie eater, I would recommend ordering more here- For the main, we got a single dish of the mushroom pasta. It definitely was not filling for 4 people and we should've gotten at least another 1-2 mains.Overall, it was a great experience, food was great but you'd need to order a lot to really get full. Wine selection is amazing.

Service is and ambiance are great but the food is below mediocre and overpriced. You get tiny portions and it's over salted. The shared plates are not for really sharing for more than 2 people. We got the gem salad ($20) which had too much salt in the dressing or on top, I couldn't tell. Then the wax beans ($17) which were so hard to chew. I would have sent them back but there was so little on the plate when we tried them half were gone. Then we had the shrimp scampi ($25) which was recommended and honestly, so uninteresting and lacking anything to make it stand out. We finished with the branzino ($41) which didn't have anything on it, no lemon or anything but, you guessed it, too much salt. The cook on the food was good but the creativity and flavors were dull. Everything started tasting the same. Probably from the salt. Both our stomachs hurt so much after too. The bill came out to be $135 and they automatically include a 20% gratuity. This may be a good spot just for drinks but I wouldn't recommend eating there. Don't waste your money. I didn't even take one photo.

loooove! I've been wanting to try this place for awhile now. careful though you might miss it because it's a bit discrete. but when you get in there, babyyy it's adorable! sooo cute and intimate with an indoor and outdoor patio vibe and a lot of little nooks for private dining. the food was delightful. they know their pastas. we tried the Roasted Zucchini, Pickled Cucumber, Breadcrumbs, Salsa Verde; bread and butter, cacio e pepe and Rigatoni Pomodoro. we were there pretty early like the very first customers (it's first come first served) but our server was still super efficient, offered suggestions and gave us time to decide. everything was divine. will definitely come back!

WowoweewaaI would consider our stop here as second dinner. We were in the Fashion District before the sunset to try wings at a new spot. We figured we would count that as appetizer. We ended up here after making a last minute detour after plan a fell through. My friend had this in her list of places to try and it happened to be the closest to where we were and where we were headed (home). So, a win. Fortunately for us, there was street parking. Score! I love when that works out. We got there looking a little lost. I blame the smokes that went down. I have a feeling the hostess found it amusing to see us struggle to open the door. Trust us, we were giggling the second we realized we just had to push. Short story long, this place is adorable. You would never guess the inside had the vibe it did. We started off with the bread & butter that let me tell you was just perfect. The crunch level was wow. We moved on to the prawns that had a hint of some type of herb that we didn't care for. We ended with the spaghetti limone which at first tasted too al dente, but after waiting a bit longer the succeeding bites got better and better. Overall, everything tasted great. So much so that all the plates were fully empty. We opted to hit up KTowm for dessert so I have something to look forward to for next time. The service was impeccable. I wish I got his name, but the guy with the braids who waited on us was amazing. At one point he scooped up some paper on the table like a ninja we kept trying to figure out exactly what he got. He always made sure we had water without us even asking. If anyone cares, this is exactly where you see people. KStew was a couple tables aways from us with her gf. 5 mins after she walked out, RPatz walked in with Suki. It was so L.A. I loved every second.
