Levant Bistro and Bake Shop is an absolute gem! We came on a Friday night without a reservation (which is recommended) and were lucky to get seated in the bar area overlooking the kitchen. Watching the chefs put together the dishes added to the experience, and the service was incredibly friendly and attentive.Everything here is gluten-free, making it a dream spot for anyone with dietary restrictions but a love for carbs. We had the merguez sausage, a Lebanese flatbread with cheese and sausage, and for dessert, the knafeh and baklava tart--all of which were absolutely delicious. The ambiance was warm and welcoming! The owner, Danny, was so welcoming and took the time to explain the dishes and their incredible coffee selection. You can tell the passion and care that goes into everything they serve. Can't wait to come back!

We ABSOLUTELY LOVE this restaurant. We drive an hour each way to get here and it is SO worth it. Everything we've ever ordered is: incredibly fresh, SUPER tasty, and thoughtfully prepared. It is obvious that a lot of effort goes into sourcing the high-quality fresh ingredients and the creation of each dish. The flavors are out of the world. The staff is very kind and attentive. We love this gem and hope many people go here so it can stay open for decades to come.AND, everything is gluten free. Even though I'm NOT personally gluten free, NOTHING is lost because of this - and it is my favorite restaurant - with our without gluten.

I cannot say enough good things about Levant. It is one of my absolute favorite restaurants in LA. The food is delicious, everyone I've met who works there is kind, knowledgeable, and seems genuinely passionate about the cuisine, and both the inside and outside area are super cute.Everything is fresh, perfectly seasoned, and thoughtfully prepared. The Lebanese egg pie with kashkaval (cheese) is a standout: the dough is light and fluffy and the kashkaval is delicious. I also love the Merguez sausage manoush (it's like a dreamy delicious flatbread). They did a wonderful job accommodating my party of 10 people today. All of us left feeling so satisfied and joyful. Thank you!

Colleagues and I came for the DineLA lunch of 4 courses at $35/person. We shared the Merquez Manoush (homemade lamb sausage), grass-fed Kafta sandwich (ground lamb), roasted heirloom carrots, hummus, baba ghanoush, date cookie and fig scone. Everything was delicious. Nice ambience. Great service. Free parking in the mini mall.

I'm going to start by saying that this place is amazing. All of the food is super fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The staff is very friendly and offered great suggestions for dishes and wines to try. This restaurant has a sultry middle eastern inspired vibe.My table had the herb crusted chicken, chicken kabob, and knafeh. The herb crusted chicken was delicious, the herbs were strong yet well balanced and the chicken was very juicy. The potatoes that come with are delicious and pair well with the garlic sauce. The chicken kabob was very flavorful and the Lebanese rice had a warm cinnamon flavor. The knafeh was really really nice, the pistachios were crunchy and fresh and the rose petals had almost a jammy flavor.Overall this place is absolutely worth a visit!

visited this place with my husband. We really liked it. We ordered the same dish and both were satisfied. Very nutritious and the flakes with seeds are unusual, I love hummus, I also liked it, it was two types, and the meat was also well fried. We were served by a cool guy waiter, polite and tactful. Nice place, beautiful interior. I will come back here again, I recommend this place.

A lovely family establishment with decadent and delicious pastries, wonderful service and a nice brunch menu. They have gluten and dairy free options and are educated about food allergies. Their outside seating area is really cute and their service is on point. I'd definitely recommend it!

While visiting in LA - I was looking for the best gluten free lunch and I found it! The food was amazing. I have been celiac for 15 years and the cheesy garlic bread was incredible. I wish I lived closer - I would be there all the time. I was by myself and sat at the bar. The server was very knowledgeable about the menu and recommended some of his favorites as I was completely overwhelmed by having too many choices - the entire menu is gluten free. Some other people were there celebrating a birthday and I think it would be perfect place for someone with dietary restrictions as you could order a gluten free cake. I hope next time I am in LA to return with my husband. He did get to try some of my leftover bread and thought it was very good.

OMG they have a parking lot! What a wonder for this part of town! It's a shared passing lot for the plaza, but a lot more spaces than I would have guessed from the outside. I parked on the street because I didn't know, but never time I will use the lot! Amazing. The space is bigger than expected, very nice, bright and beautifully appointed. This is an upscale casual place, imo. They have a nice generous space outdoor patio in a shady alcove with umbrellas & trees. I would definitely eat out there on a less windy day than the one I dined here on. I came at an off hour and basically had the staff all to myself everyone who helped me put checked on me was very kind, friendly, knowledgeable and made great recommendations. I got the goat cheese & fig flat bread and the shawarma hummus. The shawarma is grass fed and it was SO delicious. I'd get that again in a heartbeat! Excellent spices all around and came with a choice of vegetables or pita, so I chose the veggies, which were carrot & celery sticks. The fig & goat cheese flat bread was too sweet for me - a dessert flatbread! If you love fig and sweet things, tho, this is definitely for you! They were generous with all the toppings. There was a ton of fig on there and lots of walnuts, which I loved. The flatbread dough was so good, though. Did not taste gluten free at all. Lovely texture and flavor. I would try other more savory flat breads here in the future! So happy to have more and more fully alternative diets restaurants available where I can relax knowing that I don't have to read ingredients as carefully or ask as many questions... And if I do have questions, they will have answers! Such a relief. Thank you!
