Over the past 6 years, we have tried several different Leo's taco trucks as well as others and we just can not believe how good the meat is every single time! The asada tacos were SO good, then we tried asada mulitas and that became our favorite thing to get. Every single time. Then we tried the asada gorditas and now that's our favorite thing. We could eat this every day and never be disappointed. The mild green creamy salsa is so good, has so much flavor without being too spicy. The ordering process is quick and efficient. The service and the food are CONSISTENT quality. The seating area is pretty decent compared to other road-side taco truck options and never really dirty in our experience.

What I ordered:- Al pastor tacos- ChampurradoIf I ever crave al pastor tacos, Leo's tacos truck is my top choice! With nine locations around LA county, the one on South La Brea Ave has been the go-to spot. Parking at the South La Brea Ave location is limited, so opt for parking in the neighborhood next to it.These are the best al pastor tacos I have tried so far! The combination of juicy pineapple and marinated al pastor create a sweet/savory bite. I love that the al pastor is cut into thin/tender slices, rather than cubed bits like other places. This is my first time trying champurrado, also known as "Mexican hot chocolate". The consistency was in between watery and milky. The cinnamon and chocolate flavor was extremely subtle and I wanted much more. Probably would not get this again, good on a cold night though!

After checking out Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights, my group was tired and hungry so we were looking to see what food options were available around 1 am in the area. Since we were in LA, my friend suggested getting some late-night tacos from a taco truck and we stumbled upon Leo's Tacos Truck. There is a good amount of seating around the truck in the parking lot, and the wait wasn't too long for us to order. I decided to get a few tacos with Al Pastor, Carne Asada, Chorizo, and Carnitas. The price of these were great, and I think this is definitely one of the main draws of these taco trucks. The quality of these tacos are pretty solid as well, and even though the carne asada was a bit on the dry side they all still hit the spot (especially when we're starving after walking around a lot). I liked the Al Pastor the most out of them, so I would recommend trying that one at least. Overall a solid option for cheap, late-night tacos in LA!

10 al pastor tacos every single time. this is that one spot you go to after a night out in LA (concert, sporting event, or just simply to expedite your passport) BUT ALWAYS GO AL PASTOR WITH PINEAPPLE no regrets, ever. I would select this as my last meal on Earth, and would bring them on a spaceship to Mars as my first meal there ha ANDDD you'll glaze in sweat JUST like the al pastor spinning trunk with the pickled habanero onions MMMM

This place came highly recommended and did not disappoint. We got 5 tacos to share (carne asada) and a strawberry drink. All for $16. CASH ONLY. The drink was the best strawberry drink I've ever had and the tacos were legit street style tacos. Their salsa verde had a nice kick and better than most I've tried. They give you all the essentials with your tacos too (3 salsas, limes and radishes). They even have a portable hand wash station which is important. Worth the drive through LA traffic but come hungry and bring cash.

One of the best taco trucks I've been to! The service is fast and simple, and I love that they have a self-serve condiment station. I ordered the asada, cabeza, and al pastor tacos, and they were so good that we had to get a second order! The meat was tender and packed with flavor, and the green sauce was definitely my favorite.

Quick service, friendly staff, and unbeatable prices. Went with one asada, one al pastor, and one carnitas taco. All were pretty solid, but the al pastor was a stand-out (must try). Overall 4/5.

A little underwhelmed but overall a good choice for late night tacos. Got three tacos (carnitas, pollo, asada), one quesadilla (al pastor), and one burrito (asada), and the meat was a bit dry in all of the items, especially the asada. Portions are solid, though there wasn't a lot of cheese in both the burrito and quesadilla, which meant they both kinda fell apart pretty quickly. Love the sauce and sides station, which were pretty well-maintained, and the smoky red salsa was my favorite. No line on a late weekday evening, service was a little cold. I don't think Leo's is the first spot I'd think of when I'm craving tacos, but I do appreciate that they're open when those late night cravings hit.

I got takeout from the Leo's Tacos Truck on La Brea last night. I ordered one taco al pastor, one carne asada taco, and an agua de fresa. I enjoyed the food and drink. I loved that the taco al pastor came with a slice of pineapple. The drink was sweet and delicious. Everything appeared to be fresh and well-prepared. Payment was cash only. Service was good.

Love that the fries is crunchy in the fully loaded California burrito and the overall flavor was very tasty and balanced. The brisket was a little on the dry side unfortunately but still flavorful. Will return again and try the el pastor next time!
