Absolutely love Le Petit Four, it's a delightful classic. I live close by and it's been my go to spot for many years. A pretty airy upscale French bistro in the middle of Sunset Blvd where all the action is. You can sit inside the charming dining room or the amazing outside terrace. Both are nice and have a great view of the Sunset Strip. I like to sit outside it's a bit more exciting, because it's fun to people watch. I've dined afternoon and evenings here, and the vibe is always a consistent cool casual experience. The service is excellent. All the servers are friendly and helpful. Now let's talk about the food. Everything is delicious. The food is seasoned perfectly and very tasty, the desserts are pleasantly sweet, and the cocktails are top shelf. There is free parking in the back which is so convenient. I enjoy going here with my family and friends. It's always a magical time.

enjoyed appetizers and drinks on the cute and bright patio! It was a great way to celebrate one of the rare sunny days in LA! our server was speedy and so friendly. we ordered the Tuna Tartare, fries, and whole artichoke (the Dijon vinaigrette is to die for)! As for drinks, I'd recommend the cucumber basil cocktail -- super refreshing.

STAY AWAY!!!!! On Saturday I brought a group of my friends to eat there. Bear in mind I have been here over 20 times. Every time I go on a Saturday I can be seated outside. On Saturday, despite there being outside seating and clearly a table of 8 that would have been perfect, the guy in charge of seating people Stephane seated us inside. I asked him about that table of 8, and he said, " Well, you are only a table of 5, so we cannot sit you there." Were were all like what kind of nonsense is this?? He would rather piss off a group of 5 and hope a group of 8 would show up?? Made zero sense. They even had other tables of 4 outside where they could add a chair to make it 5 but didn't do that either. I didn't want to make a huge scene in front of everyone but I was super pissed. Stephane knew it wasn't because he approached me 3 times to see if everything was okay. There were many tables outside that would have worked. In fact about 10 minutes after we got seated he put a party of 3 in that table of 8!!!!! Can you believe that?? I messaged Stephane after and I told him that I wanted to speak to Alex the owner. He sent my message to Alex and here is Alex's response which he took no responsibility whatsoever: Dear Sunil,Thank you for sending your feedback to Stephane , unfortunately our two managers did their best, considering the situation. As you witnessed, the restaurant was packed, and actually your party was fortunate that they could find you a table for 5 next to the window on a busy Saturday lunch with no reservation. The table you mentioned was for 8 persons, 3 guests show up early but the rest followed until completely. I can understand your frustration , you felt that you could have a outside table to please your guests, but due to the short number of tables outside we are never able to garanti any outside tables on weekends. The only way to be sure to sit outside on weekends, is to show up at the opening at 11.30 am. I hope that you will understand that like all businesses, we have to follow strict guidelines.Have a great day.Alex , Le Petit Four ownerI told Alex to look at the cameras because what he is saying is wrong! The whole time we were there, that table of 8 had only 3 people. And there were many other open tables available that they could have given us. The only reason I can explain why this happened is that 3 of us are Indian out of the 5. Why else would this guy seat us inside and not outside when outside was available. Alex has not taken any responsibility for this nor has he said he would make it up to me at all despite him knowing I have been there well over 20 times. I say Boycott this place because the owner seems to condone this behavior and refuses to take responsibility for treating me and my friends horribly. STAY AWAY!!!!!!

Highlights: french onion soup, oyster, spaghetti bolognese, linguine & clamsI decided to visit this place on a Saturday for lunch after a friend highly recommended it, and it did not disappoint. The oysters were incredibly fresh, and the pasta dishes were a hit with the kids. The highlight for me was the French onion soup--perfectly seasoned and not too salty, just the way I like it. The server was friendly, and the overall atmosphere was casual yet inviting. It's a great spot for a casual delicious lunch or dinner.

What an amazing experience! Everyone here is always so nice and ready to be of service. The vibe is always really nice and music is great. Don't even get me started on the food! What a way to end my busy work week to come and relax and have a nice glass of wine with a delicious meal. Thank you Alex for all your hard work and effort to bring such a wonderful place to the heart of West Hollywood. Also shout out to Jade and the rest of the servers for being so nice and always willing to help. Thank you guys so much! Will definitely be back as often as possible.

It's been over 25 years since I've been to the always trendy Sunset Plaza on the Strip. A lot of places have closed since then except for Le Petit Four. Le Petit Four is where all the "beautiful" people of the Hollywood Hills gather and the ambiance is very French bistro-like. The food has always and continues to be very good which is one of the reasons why Le Petit Four has survived all these years where others have not. I came for lunch and had their French Onion Soup which was very good with its rich vegetarian broth, caramelized onions, and toasty bread topped with melted cheese. Their tasty crab cakes were chocked full of lump crab with both chipotle aioli and lemon dill sauces. It also came with a mixed green salad which made this appetizer a satisfying lunch entree.Service was very good, both friendly and very welcoming. I never felt rushed even with a fairly full restaurant. They have both an outdoor sidewalk patio and a nice white tablecloth inside tables. Parking is free in the back for the Sunset Plaza patrons. Even though prices are very much on the high side, Le Petit Four provides a very satisfying dining experience.

Saw jimmy o yang here for Sunday brunch. A nice distraction that couldn't mitigate the fact that quality control is sorely lacking here. But white linens and wall mirrors galore. The octopus salad was barely edible. Octopus must have been cooked at different times by different people--and that's the generous, more palatable assumption. Some sliced bits were burnt and tough, and other bits were undercooked, almost raw in the middle. The cherry tomatoes were turning and have turned, both of them. They were out of the oysters but the frog legs were cooked well, as were the snails. Clean and lean and tender and buttery. Caesar salad was also good, the plump anchovies elevated it, but it needed to be served slightly chilled. Flourless chocolate cake was surprisingly moist. For two with soda, coffee and grapefruit juice and including tip, $225.
