A must try for couples and friend a like. I enjoyed every dish tonight. The waitstaff and entire team were incredibly kind and accommodating. When the staff is happy, it's a good sign that the food will be great. And that was certainly the case here. The corn was so good!! I really enjoyed it!!With everything that has happened in the LA area, it's more important than ever to support local businesses, no matter their size. They need all the help they can get after the devastating fires. Despite these challenges, the staff remained in good spirits, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The cozy atmosphere makes this the perfect spot for a Tuesday night date. I'll definitely be back for more!

I went to experience with friends on Feb 2. I had made a reservation for a birthday brunch and the host never recognized that we had a birthday notification from the reservation. No happy birthday, cake nothing. Why bother making the notification. We ordered the entries I had ordered the salmon benedict. We waited a long time to even get our food when we finally got our order the salmon was lox's. and it was cold. The server did not really come back to check on me. Plus there was a strange smell. it just overall was bad!She did have an attitude when I wanted to order tomato juice. I flagged her down to find out what happened she said in passing we don't have tomato juice. If you think this restaurant looks good from the outside, you can see they are cutting corners and quality of service. This total experience was more than disappointing and I WILL NOT RETURN!

I really wanted to like le grand, since I passed it many times on lake and since the building and menu looked so good. I went a couple days ago and unfortunately it was a dissapointment. Our wait staff was unable to answer basic questions about the menu, and my chicken dish came out very dry, and the seating looked very worn in some areas. There recently used to be a 5 tapas for $25 special but apparently that ended. On the plus side, we were seated quickly without a reservation and the food came out fast and the bartenders seem nice and work with a full bar.

Highly recommend this hotspot in Pasadena. Great low-key, upscale ambience and service. The staff are very attentive and great at improvising to meet or exceeded expectations. We decided to do the unlimited tapas deal which enabled us to sample an array of their offerings, which was totally worth it. Our favorites were the watermelon salad, buffalo wings, and hummus. BIG shout out to Jenelle for single-handed running circles around the restaurant, taking care of all the tables, in and outside of the restaurant. The food runners and bussers helped her make a smooth dining experience possible. #TeamWorkI ordered one of my favorite go-to drinks, a Vesper (think 007), though they didn't have Lillet, so RJ, the bartender, made a clever substitution that was delicious. He's an authentic mixologist who understands nuanced flavor profiles. #CheersTo the restaurant - please update the menu to specify that the BBQ ribs are pork, not beef. Also the music is WAY too loud. These were the only unpleasant issues we ran into.

This place compared to the Dtla one is much more mellow, not a bad thing. It's a really nice place. Service we received was good no complaints. They do provide certain packages $27 dollars all you can drink cocktails, but not everything, I normally prefer Gin and tonic which that's not part of the all you can drink, but if you enjoy drinks withing the menu it's for you, but if you have preferences, it wouldn't apply. They have the same for food $49 a person but the whole table has to agree with getting the same deal or else no deal . But all in all is enjoyed what i got along with my friends.

Still loving Le Grand for an amazing 5 for $25 menu with great small plate options! (After 5 visits now.) They made a few changes, but still the best value in town for both food and drinks. The small plates are not very small, so 5 really fill me to the brim. They are so reasonably priced, that they are a deal even ordered individually. The cocktail variety has been fun. The ambiance is beautiful! The bar has a very social vibe. And the servers are excellent. My favorites are the Hummus Plate, due to the crunchy little pita triangles and the fresh lemony hummus w/kalamata olives, and the Caesar Salad with its creamy anchovy dressing! The wild mushroom and the pesto raviolis were also delicious! Meatballs are tender and flavorful. My only issue has been seating. Definitely get a reservation if you're not dining at the bar! We came in very early (4ish?) on a Saturday (drove 45 minutes just to introduce my parents to the restaurant) and even though the very large restaurant and patio were both quite empty at that time, without a reservation they would not seat our party of 3 anywhere inside or out, except the bar. My parents are 78, so the bar is not the most comfortable for them (though that has always been where I sat, so didn't know they were so strict about reservations).

I returned to Le Grand in Pasadena for another delicious dinner. Since my last visit, they have changed their food menu and they now have 5 tapas for $25 all day. Fantastic move! I love it!I didn't have reservations so I sat at the bar instead. I was able to order food and drinks from there. It saved me some wait time. Yay!My 1st 5 tapas were truffle arancini, Hawaiian sando, chicken tacos, cauliflower steak, and pesto ravioli. I later added my 2nd 5 tapas... chicken wings, elote corn, meatballs, penne bianca, and chicken parmesan. I also got the unlimited mocktails. Yeah, I went all out that night and treated myself a wonderful and delicious meal LOL.Every tapa was very tasty. If I was to pick my top 3, it would be the cauliflower steak, truffle arancini, and pesto ravioli. If I had to choose my least 2, it would be penne bianca and chicken parmesan. There is a list of premium tapas for $3 more per tapa. For example, if you got 5 premium tapas, it would be $25 plus $15 (5 tapas x $3) totaling $40 plus tax and tip. Hope this makes sense. The best part is that you may take what's remaining to-go. Compared to the unlimited dining experience, you have to eat it all here... no take home. I prefer the former than the latter any day.Since I was at the bar, my server was the bartender. All the bartenders were very friendly and nice. Service was all around amazing. Btw, they all share the tips at the bar which is great. All in all, I had a wonderful dining experience. I will definitely return to get some more tasty tapas and delightful mocktails in a romantic ambiance. Thank you Le Grand Pasadena!P.S. If you want a table, it's best to make reservations. Otherwise, you may wait at the bar until a table is available or just sit at the bar.
