Tony has perfected the dish he sells: doner. His doner sandwich is one of the culinary gems in Los Angeles. If you are craving a doner like in Europe, don't walk, run to Le Doner Kebab. The doner here is in the French style. Tony has found the perfect bread, perfect meat combination, and sauce to rival the doners of Paris. Hope he will open a brick and mortar store sometime soon! For right now you can find Le Doner Kebab at Ale Works in Hawthorne on Mondays from about 3:30 pm to 10 pm. But check the Instagram for the most up to date schedule. You will not be disappointed!

I was so excited when I heard Le Doner Kebab was serving the food for our fan party at LA Ale works. They serve French gourmet Doner Kebab on french bakery bread and original Belgium sauces. The line for the order was long. So placed the order at the counter. The guy I assume the owner of the establishment who took the order. He was the only one person taking order, preparing and serving food. He said the wait time would be around 20 minutes. I think he massively under-prepared when we agreed to serve the food. He ran out of bread very soon. He started serving the wraps after that. Eventually he ran out of the sauces he brought. Then the veggies. He took too many orders and struggled to serve them. Personally, I waited almost an hour to get my food. I wasn't particularly impressed with the food. Reason being, there was no sauce on that, it was just the meat and the onions. Turned out to be a disappointing experience!

What an amazing find! French donor kebab personally made by the owner! He was so friendly and welcoming, joy to be around! The food was delicious and prepared quickly to order. He had a variety of imported sauces available, which were fun to try. Delicious flavors, fresh ingredients, highly recommended!

I had the pleasure of trying this at LA Ale Works. Absolutely delicious! I had to fight the urge to go back and order a second one. Took me back to my trip to Berlin, but even better! Highly recommend!

OMG!!! This was amazing! The young Frenchman who made this stayed busy all night. The pita was completely stuffed full. So delicious. I was tortured with the delicious aroma for over half an hour as he worked through over a dozen orders ahead of mine. I may have to order one for the road if he has any ingredients left.

This is the best doner i've had in LA. It rivals the ones i've had in Europe. Bread is perfect. Portion is perfect. Meat is perfect. Perfectly balanced. You know that dry stuff that you're served at almost every other place in LA? Not here. The owner prides himself in sourcing the best french bread and nawhal's sauces from Belgium. I had the Algerienne sauce which was a mild.If you want a real doner, come here. I know i'll always be coming back.Suggestion for the owner, sell soft drinks for easy profit. A coke goes perfectly with the perfect doner sandwich. They're sort of a pop up right now, so follow them on @ledonerkebabla on Instagram for their schedule. Hidden gem right now, but I fully expect this place to become super popular in a year or two. Also, bring cash, cash only for the time being. They accept Zelle and Bitcoin too. $12 for the sandwich or wrap.

In the land of meat stuffed into handheld edible delivery plates, Le Doner Kebab fits right in. A tremendous addition to the Los Angeles food scene. I had been sitting at Aleworks for a solid 30 minutes just smelling the Kebab and I finally gave in and bought one. What a treat. The chef has something really going well here and if you love handheld meat foods in awesome bread this is definitely worth a visit.I wish him all the success in LA because man he deserves it. I'll be visiting again often.
