First time at Le Champ and it's such a cute vibe! The logo is EVERYTHING. It's of a cute lion with a crown and a bottle of wine. Super memorable! Even the bathroom is well-hidden behind painted sliding doors. It was one of the callouts as we were being led to the back patio area. Staff is friendly and helpful.+ Sparkling rose 5/5: Can't remember which one I got but I told the server what I preferred. I enjoyed what was recommended to me!+ Escargot 4/5: Can never get enough escargot! This was good but I felt like seasoning was a bit on the lighter side. Not much flavor compared to some of the ones I've had elsewhere.+ Gougères 5/5: Puff filled with cream cheese. It's light and airy.Le Champ is a hidden gem that's fun and not as loud/crazy. Great place to hangout, drink wine, and catch up with friends. Dog friendly too!

Tried out Le Champ for dinner a few weeks back. We had heard great reviews of a new spot in the Arts district and came to check it out. Seating is an outdoor patio and we were the first there that night so very quick service. We ordered:Drinks: Aperol Spritz and wine- great Aperol, I had a few!Entrees: charcuterie board, scallops dish, escargot, French onion soup, endive salad, tuna tartar, and pork chop- all decent but such tiny portions. The charcuterie is barely big enough for a single person. Dessert: lemon cake and passion fruit crème brûlée- my favorite part of the meal! Overall it is good food but portions are way too small for their prices. Not sure if I would come back again.

We had a great time at Le Champ. The staff were so nice and accommodating! We were having such a good time that I didn't take a lot of photos and food photos werefew. Parking in this part of town is street parking. It wasn't too difficult to find for an early dinner reservation. It was a rainy night, but not to worry. The covered patio felt warm and cozy. They had curtains to block out the rain and wind. Space heaters were well placed to keep you warm. After a few minutes, I forgot we were seated outside! We were a large party and ordered a good portion of the menu. Dishes were shared amongst us. We ordered two of each item. My favorites were:Baguette and butterCheese poufsSaucissonRib eye Onion soupFrites Enjoy!

Our book club went here for lunch after reading The Nightingale. We wanted a French themed restaurant and this was just the perfect place. We sat out in the garden area and the aesthetic was immaculate. They have garden chairs, a dirt floor, protection from the sun, and greenery everywhere. The service was perfect we got to know the owners and their goals for this great space. We got excellent wine recommendations for our meals and the food itself was good. We shared some appetizers, the cheese plate and the gougeres both were so tasty. Everyone should try the gougeres! The meals are smaller, I believe they are meant to be more of something to share with your party while you enjoy their drinks. However I definitely did not leave hungry. I plan on coming back for a fun date night or girls day.

We went to this spot to celebrate our friend's birthday, and we tried almost everything on the menu. I really dug the Ribeye, Escargot, and Pâte. To go with the food, we ordered three bottles of wine. We sat outside, and even though it was raining, we were dry. They had space heaters to keep us warm, too.Parking was a bit of a hassle. Lots of areas had no parking signs, so you have to be careful where you leave your car. Otherwise, your ride could get towed. The food was a bit overpriced. It's Tapas style, so even after eating, you might still be a little hungry.

Does Le Champ allow doggos? Le Champ is mainly outdoors and allow dogs. Please ensure your pup is well-behaved and trained for outdoor dining out of courtesy of other diners. Le Champ is a new neighborhood wine garden located in an unassuming corner of Arts District DTLA. Beautiful ambiance, great service, and good food and wine. Their patio/garden is spacious yet cozy. Our server was attentive, helpful, and provided great recommendations. All of the employees were very welcoming of us and our small dog. We enjoyed the cassoulet, saint-pierre, and country pâté from carte du jour. We got to try the saint-pierre thanks to Matt, friendly and welcoming owner of Le Champ. We also tried the french fries and coquilles st-jacques from la carte. Every dish we ordered was delicious. But the french fries served with sauce choron had an addicting quality to it. The scallops in coquilles st-jacques were perfectly cooked. Pâté was plain delicious. Each dish carried a rich and rustic flavor, adding a distinctive touch to the overall experience. We tried a few glasses of wine. La sauvignonne under orange, and mondeuse and garnacha under red. La sauvignonne and mondeuse were particularly delightful and suited our personal taste preference. Such fun wines. Matt provided with excellent recommendations. We walked, but they seem to provide parking in the back. Street parking is also available, though it may be tougher to find on the weekends.

BLUF: French Onion Soup (Yes), Gougeres (Yes!) and Escargot (Yes). We were met at the door last night as soon as we got out of our Uber by the co-owner. This was a nice touch and made us feel welcome. I really appreciated that. This seating is all out doors with half under a patio and half under a linen-type of covering. We sat under the patio and the heaters were turned on so it was nice and cozy for the wife and I. We started off with the Estrella beer from Spain and the gougeres. Beer was quite good and the gougeres was outstanding. If you don't know what gougeres is, no worries, I didn't either. It is a small cheese ball but the cheese inside is melted perfectly. We then had the escargot and that too was seasoned to perfection and the French bread that accompanied it was very good as well. For the grand finale, we both ordered the French Onion Soup. The LA Times recently gave this soup a big thumbs up so we had to try it. Simply said, it was magnifique!!! The soup itself was seasoned perfectly. The bread within the soup was not too soggy nor too hard, it soaked the right amount of broth to make eating it a pleasant experience. The cheese topping couldn't have been better. See my photos for each meal. This was a great experience dining here and you should too!!! Bon appetite'

We had a huge group here, and sat outside. It's very cute, and the food is very good. Service was fine. I didn't have the wine, but everyone who did seemed to enjoy it.Parking is street parking, and not super hard to find.

The portion of the steak was too small. First I understand the French style is not suppose as large as the American style. However, the waitress told me that the portion of the steak will be 12 oz and she mentioned that it should good for me. However, when the entrée was arrived, the steak portion of the steak was look like less than 6 oz. I was not happy about thatBeside that issue , the taste of food was great. My wife and son love the way they cooked the salmon.
