Stopped by late night to try their late night menu, but ended up getting the Valentine's menu, which included a house salad, Lawry's cut prime rib with mashed potatoes, Yorkshire pudding and either creamed corn or creamed spinach, and a dessert. As expected the meal was great with attentive staff and good ambience. Salad is spun table side and prime rib is plated table side as well. We felt really satisfied! No wonder the place is still around and packed even on a late night.

My bf and I came for Valentine's Day dinner. It was busy but they seated us within about 5 minutes upon arrival. The dining room is beautiful. We chose the Valentine's day special which included 3 courses- bread: freshly baked! delicious - spinning salad: our server tossed the salad table side. we loved it. the dressing was delicious, i want to recreate at home - lawry's cut prime rib: (the other choices were some type of fish & filet mignon). I chose medium-well. a master carver wheeled the meat cart over and carved table side. i've never had good prime rib but this was amazing. he also gave us extra jus on the side- sides: mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. both were superb. very rich. My bf chose creamed corn, i liked this better than the creamed spinach.- yorkshire pudding: also came with the special. our first time having this. we liked it but wouldn't miss it if we didn't have it. - dessert: we chose the creme brûlée & the trifle. devoured the creme brûlée and only took a bite from the trifle (it was more like a soaked wet cake, we didn't love the texture) - drinks: we both got the meat & potato martinis, dirty. my bf claimed this was amongst the best martinis he's had. they were definitely strong and well balanced Shoutout to the master carver Christian who was so friendly and went above and beyond, even checked in on our meal when he had a chance knowing it was our first time at Lawry's. :)

We had a great experience at Lawrys for my partners dad's bday. The fresh sourdough bread that we started with was delicious and I would have been happy with just that. I wish I hadn't filled up so much because the rest of the food was so good! We all got the California cut with the salad, mashed potatoes and Yorkshire pudding. The meat was so tender and delicious. It was my first time having Yorkshire pudding and I loved it with the au jus. My partner opted to add the creamed spinach to her dinner and she loved it. The servers were great, very attentive and friendly. Although it was a busy Saturday night, everyone took the time to make sure our service was up to par. It's definitely a once in a blue moon kind of date night/dinner spot but you should try it at least once when you're in LA!

Came during dine LA. Our table werent ready since we arrived early so we had some snacks and drinks at the bar. The fries were so good. Thin cut and crispy. The prime rib is the best ive had compared to other places. They had several different sizes for the prime rib but i got the normal size. I put the bread on my plate and it absorbed all the juice so i wouldnt recommend doing that. Their horse raddish also went well with the prime rib. They had one that attacked your nose and the other was subtle. heard their spinach option wasnt good so i was glad i got corn. Service was amazing. Our waiter was hilarious.

We went for dine LA because we were so curious about an IG post from an influencer we follow. She said there was so much value in the $69 dine LA special. There was a lovely buzz in the front where they receive you and ask you to wait. Once we checked in, we were led to our table, which was in a nice corner of the room. After being promptly greeted by our server, she proceeded to entertain us with a show. She prepared the salad table side, and the salad was delicious. The guy in charge of the prime rib cart came shortly after to give us our steak plates, and we noticed our cuts were much thinner than as pictured on the dine LA promo on Lawry's IG. He however heaped so much mash potatoes and creamed spinach on them, along with generous amounts of gravy. I don't mean to complain but the lobster tail was dried out. I was sad about it because it wasn't succulent at all. Nevertheless, all the food was delicious. All in all, it was a satisfying meal that provided a lot of value. We were too stuffed for dessert. When I return to try the regular menu I just might order the Diamond Brady Cut out of sheer curiosity! Supposedly it's such a huge chunk of meat. Excited to come back.

Don't get me wrong - I do really like Lawry's and dine here at least 2-3 times a year as a treat but a few things have gone downhill these last 2 times I've visited. Service - service has gotten much slower than the past. We waited about 15 min for our check, even after we've asked for. I talked the manager on duty about their VIP perks and he answered me like I was dumb - obviously if I knew the answer to my questions about the VIP card, I wouldn't have asked in the first place! Also, beware if you make reservations online!! They ask for a $25 deposit per person BUT they won't take it off your bill unless you ask them to. Good thing o remembered this time (I got my $75 back), but there was 2 other times I visited and I forgot to ask for my deposit back so there's goes over $100 down the drain! Food is good like always, their seasoned black pepper helps the prime rib have more taste so I recommend try it with the seasoning. I'll be back - I just wish service was how it used to be.

When we visited in Beverly Hills location the four of us each picked something different from the Dine LA menu. I was impressed by the reasonable prices and large portions. This century-old steakhouse has truly stood the test of time. The restaurant is spacious, and with a reservation, you don't have to wait long. There's parking right at the door. The atmosphere is great, and the service is very professional and friendly. When our steaks were a bit overcooked, the staff quickly replaced them with perfect ones. I highly recommend this place. Among all the steakhouses in Los Angeles, this one really stands out, with steaks that are cooked to perfection.

Timeless LA dining establishment.Giving old school Vegas vibes. The restaurant has a lot of seating inside and a separate bar area. They even have a private room if you have a larger group. We were greeted with a basket of warm sourdough bread and whipped butter. Any prime rib plate comes with their classic spinning salad served table side. If you aren't that hungry the California cut is the way to go all prime rib plates also come with Yorkshire pudding and mashed potatoes and gravy but if you're looking for one of the creamed corn or creamed spinach sides, that is an extra cost. When it's time for your plate to be served, the master meat cutter will come over to your table in his chef's hat and slice up everyone's order table side. The prime rib was so soft, melting away in your mouth. always a must. Also, the creamed corn is a solid. Creamy all the wayyyy. They also own the Tam o Shanter in Los Feliz , so if you've been there for the prime rib, it's basically the same just less show-y.The service here was excellent and They have a valet for $12

It's been a minute, Lawry's, but you remain a signature classic and precious gem in the greater LA area, rich with traditions, excellence in service, and prime rib perfection! It has been over 15 years so stepping into the old world charm felt pleasantly nostalgic. We went for DineLA and had a pre-fixe meal with fresh bread, spinning salad (my all-time favorite and must get), prime rib roasted to perfection, buttery lobster, best creamed corn around, and Yorkshire pudding. Paired it with a cab and finished with a classic sundae . From the attending servers sharing the rich history and traditions of Lawry's, to the classic yet cool LA vibe, to the delicious , it was definitely an experience to remember! Thank you!
