valet parking for $18 validated & $22 if not. a bit on the more expensive side.. so carpool if you can to save some $ for your party! we had a reservation for 7pm on a friday evening and it wasn't too busy when we arrived, but when we left around 9pm, it was pretty busy with people waiting to get seated. the food here was good, classic lil pasta spot in la. nothing crazy special. for a group of 8 girls we ordered 4 pasta dishes, 2 pizzas, 2 appetizers (garlic bread, & the meatball) and it totaled $377, before tax and tip. the food was good but not anything super special imo. each dish was around $30-$40. they recommended us to eat family style, but each dish portion was smaller than expected for us. amazing ambiance, with the cutest decor and vibes. we came on a friday night and they even had a dj in house. the restaurant is dim & little lamps on each of the tables. service was lovely, the servers made sure we were tended to and even changed our plates out. beautiful restaurant -- if youre looking for an aesthetic place with yummy food, lavo is a great option. def worth a try

Tried their DineLA brunch on a Sunday and loved our experience so much that we came back for dinner THREE days later with more friends. We decided to opt for the DineLA dinner menu. What a treat indeed. Our night kicked off with a round of bubbly for the table, compliments of their manager. As there was 4 of us we were able to get 4 different appetizers and mains. One friend's review was "they by far have the best appetizers of all the places in LA." What an endorsement. We decided to repeat the prosciutto and cheese along with the fritto misto as those were our favorites from our previous visit. Of the mains, my favorite was the branzino. I kept using the wrong adjectives to describe it, but I settled on meaty. That piece was thicc and the stuff that came on the side of it perfectly complimented the dish. We loved the dessert presentation. That tiramisu was honestly the best dessert I've ever had in my life. That's on bible! Our server Bailey was great, but I have to give all the credit to Solomon who took such great care of us. We saw more of him than Bailey and we weren't mad about it. He was so entertaining and always made sure our glasses were always filled with water. Not once did we have to ask for a refill. We could've poured the water ourselves as the bottle was on the table, but he was always walking the perimeter and would do it himself. I love this place so much it's about to be my new go to spot.I, thank you.

Came here with some friends - no reservation was told there were no tables but we could eat at the bar. The host did tell us that the bar area did have an event at 8:30 - but they didn't kick us out. They just set up their event around us (lol). Decor is very well done- the tables were a bit small but mind you we were at the bar, not really dining tables. The food was pretty good we got oysters, pizza and tuna tare tare. Oysters very good - but that's cause of the oysters. I thought the pizza was ok- my friends really liked it. The tuna was VERY good. We ordered the tiramisu at the end of the night. It took a while to come and the event was pretty much about to start so we made the executive decision to just cancel and grab the check. Our server was so understanding and didn't charge us for the dessert bit brought it out anyway. Who ever our server was (I think it was Amy?) she deserves a raise. Was asked her for a bunch of recommendations and she was so on point. Happy to come back!!

Girls night at LAVO was everything. The vibe was upscale and fun, with the perfect lighting and energy that made the whole experience even better. We got the spaghetti dish, one of the salads, pasta, and a few appetizers, and everything was so good. The drinks were flowing and the girls loved every single one. Service was great- our waiter was super sweet and made sure we had everything we needed. They also have a really nice bar area for lounging if you're not so hungry. Highly recommend.

Lovely place with delicious food and good ambiance. I loved that they have round tables for large groups-makes it easier to conversate. The meatball, pizzas, and pastas were all really good. The garlic bread was a bit over baked for me.

The location is odd because it's connected to a medical building. The ambience inside is very nice though. It's stylish, trendy, and feels elevated. It was very dim, which created a very lovely atmosphere. Unfortunately, you will also get a lot of rowdy unrefined LA patrons who could affect your dining experience. Apparently, someone was smoking pot inside, and the strong smell circulated throughout the restaurant. People sitting at the tables next to me were looking around trying to figure out who was the culprit.Food wise, every dish was very good. We ordered meatballs, spicy calabrese pizza, and grilled octopus for starters and every dish had great flavors. Brick oven pizza was thin and delicious, grilled octopus was tender and charred well. For entrees, we had branzino and salmon and the fishes were soft and flavorful. Cocktail drinks were refreshing. Dessert was my least favorite. While the tiramisu dessert was tasty, it was mostly creamy liquid and barely any cake filling. It felt like eating melted mousse. As for service, the entire staff was very nice. Our waiter was professional and very cordial, and he managed to be attentive while serving multiple tables. On a side note, this establishment is an upscale Italian restaurant - which also means expensive - so be prepared to shell out some money. If you want Italian food at a more reasonable price, this place would not be ideal.

This restaurant was one of my favorites before because it's a very beautiful restaurant, with gorgeous setting. Unfortunately, the staff members are a bit snobby, rude or stick up, or maybe it's a hit and miss with the service from the moment you get greeted/ host, to the bartender, to the waiter and to the valet. Maybe I need to go when they are well staffed or the atmosphere is different. The food and drinks are amazing! I have no complaints in that department lol

Celebrated my birthday dinner here on a weekend with a group of friends. Ambiance is super cute. Very lively and love the interior design. Everyone loved the garlic bread. I ordered the lobster pasta and it was so good!! Generous portions too!Service was friendly and prompt. The chocolate cake with a million layers was decadent and perfect to end the meal with.

Not a vibe. Its very pretty inside but its loud, crowded, and feels snobby. They made us wait for a very long time even though a table was available for us to be seated at... The food is mediocre and tastes like a normal $$ italian restaurant. Nothing stood out. Would skip the drinks as they taste like those at a college bar.

Fantastic ambiance. They always have the best seasonal decor! And whoever did their interior design did a fantastic job!Their service is always impressive. Both their brunch and dinner pre fixe menus have amazing selections you can choose from. And the food is so delicious! They have everything from lobster omelet to steak to handmade burrata. Definitely a fantastic place!
