Laurel Grill

We had the most amazing first experience here this past weekend. First off, the space is just gorgeous, it just truly welcomes you in and there's this natural warmth that resides in the restaurant. We had the most exceptional waitress - Cassidy - who shared her recommendations and was always on top of the service throughout the meal. The food is next level. Meatballs (forgot to take a pic) melted in our mouths, the Laurel House Salad was light and refreshing, and the Pepperoni Pizza was thin, sweet, spicy, salty, and I could've eaten another myself. The lemon pasta was cooked perfectly but I there was an evident lack in depth of flavor. Lastly, the desserts were incredible - big shout out again to Cassidy for both the Banana Cream and Apple Pies! Will definitely return to try more items in the near future!

Came here for Valentine's Day lunch/early dinner and had a great time. Lauren grill is located in a perfect area, the vibes inside are amazing for both lunch and dinner. The outdoor lunge is perfect for a relaxing wine and chat. They have fire places to keep you warm!Inside is homey and calm which I loved. The wood fire grill filled the restaurant with a nice smell. Got the ceasar salad, rib eye, seabass, asparagus and fries. Yum yum yum I loveeeeddd everything so much!!Service was also great, people were super friendly. Bathrooms super cute perfect for pics.

Laurel Grill - Already Planning Our Next VisitFirst time at Laurel Grill, and we'll definitely be back. We sat at the bar, and from the second we got there, the service was fantastic. Simone took great care of us--friendly, attentive, and just on it the whole night.Drink-wise, I had a Sierra Nevada (always a solid choice), but the real star was my wife's dirty martini. She called it the best she's ever had, and honestly, I have to agree. Perfectly crisp, smooth, and just really well made.We started with the calamari, which was incredible--light, crispy, and the sliced chilies on top added just the right amount of heat. Then we split the Margherita pizza, and it was exactly what we were hoping for. Great char on the crust, simple but flavorful toppings, and just an all-around great bite.The whole place has such a nice feel--elegant but not stuffy, upscale but still comfortable. Just a great spot for a night out. 10/10, highly recommend.

What has happened to the service management?? Used to be A+++. The young ladies that were at the front were great. Now some man who seems confused and is nowhere near as friendly seats us in weird places. The rest of the service was a little confused but they are working hard and I think it's a management issue. Please go back.

If you were working for an advertising firm in the 1960s in Chicago, this is where you would be going for after work dinner & drinks. Laurel Grill is an absolute smash hit. I'm sitting here thinking what could be improved on, but everything from service, to food, to ambiance all were perfect. Our hostess, server taking our drink order, and Jelani our Lead Server all were extremely friendly, professional, and attentive. When my wife's martini was getting half way done, he replaced the remainings in a new frosted glass - something I've never seen before, and is such a welcomed gesture.We got the stuffed bread, baby back ribs, gnocchi, and apple pie with ice cream. Each was delicious. I've never had ribs so tender and moist that fall off the bone with just a flick of your fork. I love this style of restaurant. There's wood paneling, a taste of Chicago architecture, jazz influence, and a grand piano. You can smell the scent of the charcoal grill as you walk in. The view of the kitchen is wide open, and they have a roaring Pizza Oven in the back corner to eye as well. I'm calling it now - the best restaurant in Culver City.

Thoroughly enjoyed dinner here! The space is expansive and has a very modern look and feel. Great service. Food was very good. Favorites were the bacon-wrapped dates and the rigatoni. The cocktails are creative. I highly recommend the Compton Cowboy. Garage parking right next to the restaurant. Good spot for a date or a night out with friends.

Finally got to try Laurel Grill located near the Culver Steps! Such an awesome, classy ambiance and the food was great. I'm a big fan of the company's other restaurants - Ysabel & Laurel Hardware - so i was so stoked that they opened this up in Culver!The pizza and pasta we got were delicious! The portions are a bit on the smaller side so next time I'd order 3 dishes between two people. Service was good as well!

Ambiance: it's a spacious American style restaurant, located on the second level of culver steps, heated patio seats with good views, inside there are open kitchens, pizza oven, two full bar stations, and cozy sofa seats, clean and comfortable restroom with heated smart toilets Service: very friendly and attentive, refilled water adequately, served food fast Food & Drink: their diverse menu includes quite a few categories PEPPERONI Oak Fired Pizza - **** Calabrian chile, honey drizzle, sweet taste, recommend GNOCCHI Homemade Pasta - *** Applewood bacon, mushroom, sweet English peas and Reggiano, the favor of the sauce was great, however, the gnocchi itself was very disappointing, loose and mushy texture ABITA LIGHT - *** very light beer Price: small to medium portions and reasonably priced for this location, expect $35+ per person

Definitely make sure to get the banana cream pie! It is one of the best deserts I've ever had. The restaurant is beautiful inside and the staff were kind.Will definitely be coming here again.
