Larsen's has great food and excellent service -- almost everything about our experience was top-notch. Our server was attentive, friendly, and really made us feel welcome. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the sides were flavorful and well-prepared.That said, one small disappointment: the complimentary bread never arrived. It's a little thing, but it's something you kind of look forward to at a place like this.Still, the quality of the meal and the outstanding service more than made up for it. I'd definitely come back -- hopefully next time with bread!

Great atmosphere, elegant and intimate, a good place to host a celebration. It's upstairs and there is an escalator and elevator. There is a bar. There is paid parking in a structure underneath the shopping center. The food is what you'd expect from a steakhouse of this type, if you stick to the steakhouse fare you can't really go wrong. The have a decent wine list and offer premium cocktails. The one area for improvement is the service, it is quite slow. The servers are friendly but could be more attentive, we had to ask for drink refills and such, and were missing a place setting when the food arrived. Other than the wait for the food and the inattentive server it was a good experience and I'm sure we'll be back.

Have you ever had a meal so bad it ruined your entire birthday? Mocktail - 0/10 it was just sugar water didn't drink it Lobster crunch roll - 1/10 sooo much rice, fishy, infuriatingly tastelessSteak - bone in ribeye $150 2/10 nice sear, wasn't salted at all. Like at all. Garlic mashed - 5/10 again, not seasonedCreamed corn - 0/10 this wasn't edible, and I cried a little bc I realized the entire meal was just gross overpriced food. We had such a good experience at the Santa Clarita location, not sure why this one was worlds apart. Really sad bc it's my actually birthday and $300 later my night is ruined.

I will never return here. I came last night with my husband for dinner, and while we were waiting for our table, we decided to get drinks. I ordered a tequila mule, and when I reached the bottom, I found MONEY in my drink--not just a $10 bill, but a whole bunch of cash. Money that carries viruses, bacteria, and germs. I am someone who washes my hands before a meal, and yet here I was, drinking something that was completely unsanitary. When I told the bartender, he just laughed and said, "Wow, I thought the cup was clean." That response was so unprofessional, and I couldn't even sleep last night, replaying it all in my head.

I'm not a big steak eater and I enjoyed Larson's steakhouse. There are plenty of other alternatives if you're not big on steak. The service was great. The waiters were very efficient. As for the ambience, it was a little noisy for me because we wanted a romantic experience. But I would come back again.

I'm still going back and forth about this. The atmosphere was lovely and the service was warm and welcoming. Loved that there was live piano music at dinner. I was disappointed in the price differences between the website and the menu at the restaurant. The wine menu doesn't seem to be prepared to spend a fortune for the up-charges. You'll struggle to find a bottle under $85 with most over $100. The veal chop is listed as $61 currently on the website. At the restaurant? $76. Not cool. Most everything seems to be several dollars above what is offered, so again be prepared that apparently the website is not updated. The food was pretty good. I was a little disappointed in the lobster crunch roll. It tasted good, but wasn't really special for the $36. And if you're a wasabi fan, the creamy side version they give you has zero heat to it but has the general flavor of wasabi? The pork chop was quite large and cooked beautifully. Filet was very tender. Mushrooms had a great mixture of different types. Garlic mashed potatoes could have used some more garlic. Had the bananas foster butter cake to end the night, it was quite good, but is not the traditional gooey cake of the southern tradition. This is more of a regular warm cake. Still great but you might be in for a shock if you go in expecting the gooey creamy version.

Came here for a company Christmas dinner. It's upscale, though nondescript. We spotted some celebrities. The steak was great. Simple, sophisticated flavours and presentation. One thing about this visit stands out for me: a poor decision (training?) by the server. I have a peanut allergy, so I abstain from restaurant desserts as cross-contamination is likely with sweets. There were no dessert drinks (e.g., port, a grasshopper, etc.) listed on the menu, so I planned to discreetly ask the server if I could at least get an Irish coffee, something simple that every bartender would know, so I could enjoy an after-dinner treat along with everyone else. The server foiled this by standing as far away from me as possible - at the opposite side of our large round table - and raising his voice to ask what I wanted from the dessert menu. I tried to quietly say, "Do you have dessert drinks?" and he couldn't understand, but instead of coming over to me, he said loudly, "What?" so I said "Nothing for me, thank you", as I didn't want to make a big deal out of this in front of my boss. I then got to sit and watch everyone else eat dessert and endured a colleague teasing me about not eating sweets. Perhaps waitstaff should be trained to not yell across tables, as I doubt even people without disabilities want to scream their orders so everyone within earshot can hear. It seems like more intimate and sophisticated service.

happy hour. Each venue offers a unique happy hour menu, adding an exciting touch to the experience. The Valencia location, in particular, stood out with its exceptional offerings, making it my hands-down favorite. The service across all locations has been nothing short of impeccable, though I'm still awaiting my verdict on the Woodland Hills branch. Having sampled various items from the happy hour menu, Valencia has undoubtedly left a lasting impression. What sets Larson apart is not just the menu but the delightful ambience, especially during evening happy hours. The live piano player performing top 40 hits adds a charming and enjoyable element to the atmosphere. In a noteworthy twist, the Valencia location goes above and beyond by offering happy hour all day on Sundays in their bar. Highly recommend exploring the diverse experiences Larson Steakhouse has to offer.

The service was delightful but unfortunately the food was mediocre. My grandson has crab legs that were just ok. And we ordered mussels and clams that were sandy and inedible. I will say that the pork chop was delicious.

Went to Larsen's in Encino tonight and cant speak highly enough of the food and the staff - especially Jon and Ophelia! They were warm, attentive, and had plenty of recommendations all of which turned out to be exceptional. If you're anywhere near Encino you'll be happy you stopped in to Larsen's.
