As someone who does not keep kosher, it's normally hard for me to say I actually like a kosher restaurant... but Lamalo is one of my favorite local gems!Depending on how busy they are, you are either sat at a table and they take your order, or you order at the counter and seat yourself. I have been in both instances. My go to order is the sunshine b'boker. It's so much food that if I eat it for breakfast, I don't eat again until dinner. I also tasted the grilled cheese and Mac and cheese. (Are you sensing a theme here? ) both were also delish. The house bread is to die for. The saddest part about this is that you can't buy a loaf of the house bread to take home.We love coming here!

I wish I could give this place a 5 star rating but it just lacks the umph to get there. It's a fun brunch place with cute inside vibes but a few minor things to improve:- The kale in a kale salad needs more massaging - I don't want to eat kale that hasn't had its tender love and care- The lasagna is really good but is a little small. Everyone knows that kosher foodies need their portions large- What's the deal with no wifi? We're in the 21st century.- My wife says the pastries are bomb thoughOverall, lovely place - some dishes are amazing and some are just okay. They could do with putting a sign outside their front door with their name. The secrets out.

Really cute place on an unassuming corner of Pico near Robertson. Tables inside and a few on the sidewalk. Nice ambience. Sweet wait staff. We had some delicious dishes. Salad with feta, olives, plus tahini was huge and fresh. All ingredients were chopped nicely.Companions had a breakfast "burrito"-an interpretation of a burrito- very light and more like a wrap. This place is Kosher so do the math. Another dish was miso salmon- a beautiful dish and also very tasty and fresh.Other offerings to try next time for me are the Quiche and the grilled cheese and tomato soup- that might have to wait for cooler weather.A cute little lunch venue.

Just tried this amazing restaurant and bakery this morning. I'm so glad we did. The friendliest staff made our breakfast so enjoyable. The food was amazing. The bread is a real standout. We got the morning glory focaccia and the egg and cheese croissant. We will definitely be back. Their cookies are incredible, too! We go to a lot of places near Pico/Robertson and the beautiful interior and amazing food here will make us regulars at this place from now on.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Street parking available at this casual kosher (dairy) eatery with indoor and outdoor seating. Pricing and portions are as expected. Food is delicious; hard to go wrong with any order.

Everything is delicious here, but make sure you try a pastry or dessert! As someone who grew up not keeping kosher, I have non orthodox relatives I've brought here and they all love it.

Waited at a table for friends to arrive - ordered a late which was brought to the table in .about 10 minutes. Server just put the cup down on my table without napkins spoon saucer .nothing. I had to requestall of the above . Latte was good .my party arrived and we all ordered. 3/4 entrees were served all together. the 4th hadnt arrived for a long while at which point the guest inquired about it. It finally arrived as the other 3 were halfway through theirs! This exact same scenario played out the first time i ate there. As the sun was setting our table was in full sun/ glare. Servers did not draw the shades we had to do it ourselves!! Food overall was good not amazing. service was not either amazing.Thier sister reataurant cafe Menches is a 5 Star. Sadly this one a 3.
