Lala's Argentine Grill

Food was aight. Huge portions tho. Came for DineLA which was $55 all-day and includes a drink, starter, main, and dessert.- Sangria: tasty! and fruity. Would get again. - Mushroom skillet: could be more garlicky, but was hearty and a big portion. - Croquetas: basic. fried cheese balls in a tomato sauce- Steak Gaucho: very tender, served with a huge anaheim pepper (grilled so nice flavor). Had fries and a salad which I could not finish. salad dressing was not a fave- Flan: more dense than would have liked. Dulce de leche was suuupe sweet. As was the crepes a friend got, which was filled with caramel.Service was prompt. It's dimly lit so it gives romantic vibes lol Was able to find street parking around the corner in the neighborhood. Fun fact Sasha from DWTS sat next to us lol.

Went here again last Friday night. We were seated promptly and our server was nice and friendly. We ordered 2 lomo Lala's (filet mignon with mushroom and wine sauce ) and the lomito (steak sandwich) Lomo Lala's comes with 3 good size pieces of filet mignon , with mashed potatoes. I substituted my potatoes with salad which was also delicious. Everything was so tasty, juicy, fresh and just amazing . Everything came as ordered, and quick . We also loved the wines we got . The chimichuri and the bread were amazing as well. We will definitely come back . Im glad they maintained their quality

Met here with my parents from Santa Barbara and very glad I chose this spot! Food had some great flavor and plenty of options as well! Ended up getting the two plate platter with my dad that had some steak, chicken meat, chorizo pork sausage and more. All each were juicy and moist and the chimichurri is a great touch with lemon! Sides also packed some good flavor as well! Mashed potatoes and broccoli were great!Our server and host were very sweet and always asking questions if we needed anything at all. Also great banter and fun laughs! Place is very well kept and clean and truly a nice spot in the area for a quick bite of lunch and HAS ITS OWN PARKING! Best feature is the valet parking - it is $9 but worth it honestly in studio city vs. a $75 fine.

I have come to Lala's every once in a while. I've also ordered it online for delivery.What I like is the Pechuga Dijon (Chicken with a dijon white wine sauce).I sat at the bar and ordered it. I ask for extra sauce as they seem to be stingy with that, especially when you get it delivered.Meal came out with mashed potatoes.It was over salted this time. The chicken breast was fine.Because I was sitting at the bar, and there was no bartender present (I sort of wanted to watch the baseball game on tv), I was definitely forgotten about at times.

Love Lala's!! Garlic chicken rice and salad! Chimichurri and bread is so yummy!! Chardonnay from Argentina was refreshing !

Absolutely must eat here every trip to Los Angeles! I take everyone too! Sangria is yummy, chimmichuri is the best! Always take a jar to go! Chicken is so juicy! Mashed potatoes are amazing!!

Here we are, sixteen years later and LaLa's is still here and so am I. The only difference is that I haven't practically doubled my prices :) I ordered the chicken breast champignon and mashed potatoes, which comes with a little salad. I'd never had the champignon thing before, and it was excellent, with the only caveat being that I ordered via UberEats and the lid of the container that had the chicken breast was loose and some of the sauce leaked out, creating a bit of a bag mess. Rubber bands are the way to go - then that cannot happen. Mashed potatoes were good and the salad was the salad. Other than the now-hefty prices, I enjoyed it after all these years and yes, I haven't been there since 2014, I think. Don't know why, really.

We really miss Lala's on Melrose. It used to be our go-to spot for their delicious entraña and addictive chimichurri--we just couldn't get enough. We also loved pairing it with their sangria and cleritco. Since we couldn't wait for the Melrose location to reopen, we decided to visit their Studio City location, but unfortunately, we were a bit let down. We ordered our usual favorites: medium-rare entraña with Caesar salad and mashed potatoes, along with the pollo a la brasa. Sadly, the steak was tough and bland, the chicken overcooked and dry, and the Caesar salad lacked its usual punch of flavor.

Everything was excellent, we walked in and were greeted right away, service was fantastic, food was delicious and the Malbec Wine was great. Indoor/outdoor seating, nice crowd and nice background music. Will definitely be back when I am in the area.

Just mid. I think the owner brought the food out. And he was very nice. But the portions were tiny on my steak. Lacked flavor. The mashed potatoes were actually pretty great. But that was it. Just expected more for the price that we paid. But just my opinion. Ambiance was cute so I was expecting more. Mid
