Don't know what happened here, but I had sensory overload on dread on super, mega, ultra overdrive.Nonplussed is the word. Very few dishes....I mean I'm not being hyperbolic here, but the chicken in the curry was not fresh and/or raw. It was like slimy pinkish? I doubt the chef even tasted it. He should be reminded that chicken should not be served medium rare. I nearly threw up.For real. No theatrics. And it takes a lot for me to succumb to that date. The broth was like this mushy, chunky bleh.I don't really know what happened here. I hate to judge a restaurant on their worse day, but , yeah, this was that bad.

Oh my God this is my new favorite place. Everything I've ever tried is wonderful. The fried chicken is crunchy and tender and delicious. The noodles are delicious. I like the dark purple rice.I'll post more next time I go and maybe take pictures if I can stop myself from eating it right away.

My parents' fav Thai spot, I met them here for lunch on a recent visit. Located in a strip mall where we had no trouble finding parking. Not a super large space, but it's clean and feels good with the greenery and neon signage inside. We started with some fried vegetable rolls (maybe potato and pumpkin? I actually didn't place the order so am not entirely sure) which were piping hot and a little bland, but the sweet & sour sauce accompanying them was good. Thai coffee was potent, and I solicited some help from the table to finish it. Basil fried rice with tofu was good and even better once I asked for chili sauce to zhuzh it up. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Minus a star because we were surrounded by Fox news on all the TVs.

Came across this place randomly on yelp and so happy I did because the flavor of all the dishes we ordered was amazing! Not pictured was the pad Thai which was amazing with texture! Love the coconut curry with beef (lots of beef) and the tom yum soup was so good esp in this weather! Service was great as the waitresses were very attentive! The ambiance was super cute with Christmas decor and plenty of seating! Will definitely be back!!

I thought the food here was very good.Seems to me that they are using high quality ingredients.Their chicken tastes great--sign of a very good Thai restaurant. Many Thai retaurants suffer getting the chicken right. Get chicken in your dish. They only gave me 5 shrimp in my Spicy Eggplant with Shrimp dish which was a bit low amount for the price which adds on extra $$ for Shrimp. Should really have 10 Shrimp. But the Shrimp was very good. And they don't give you a ton of chicken in those chicken dishes either.Don't kid yourself--it's expensive to dine out in Los Angeles and this Thai restaurant is no exception.Expect to pay about $50 plus gratuity for 2 people to dine in here for just main dishes and non-alcohol beverages as a baseline. You are not getting out the door for less than $50. If you order Apps and alcohol, you are in the $75 to $100 range for 2 peeps.Parking recommendation: They have a shared free parking lot and there are spaces--but if you like your car--try to park on the street. Parking lot spaces are so tight they are ripe for dings, pings, and dents. Regarding service--Well--they were efficient and got the job done--but not the warm and cushy I prefer. But again--it's LA--nothing here is warm and cushy. No one came to the table to ask how we are doing--just here are some menus and what do you want? But they did ask what we wanted over 5 times during the meal so we were never forgotten.

A little reluctant to post this review because I would hate for this to be another hot spot that I can't get a table at. BUT here we go. We've been here twice now and so far every single dish that we've ordered has been nothing short of amazing. Like AMAZING. My bf used to live near Thai town so we tried a bunch of different spots and have found that this is the best Thai spot in all of LA (so far). We do have reservations for Anajak next week so hopefully I'll remember to update my review if my opinion doesn't change. The place is very cute and almost looks like an American brunch spot and service is very friendly. May be part of my top 3 list in LA.

This is the gem! What makes this Thai restaurant stand out? It's exterior design but once you stepped in, you will be welcomed with loveliness. The interior has a beautiful touch elegance and simplicity. The food! Everything was on point! The Tom Yum soup especially got our attention. It's our new benchmark. The balance of sourness, saltiness and sweetness were on point. The papaya salad was super fresh, crunchy, balanced and spicy (according to your liking). The Calamari was tender and crispy. Perfect with siracha mayo that came with it. The Prik King was creamy, yummy and full of flavor. I got some of the sauce and poured it on my rice. Heaven! The Pepper and garlic with crispy pork belly was delish! It was amazingly tasty and the crispy pork was a treat! The Thai iced tea was refreshing and calmed the spiciness well. We finally ended with one of the finest comfort dessert - the mango with sticky rice. Service was excellent! Food came out fast, fresh and hot!Excellent! Highly recommended. What a gem!*Update* My wife and I recently tried Luv2eat in Hollywood. They are Michelin star restaurant BUT we like Lalarice better. This restaurant easily deserves a Michelin star IMHO.

Had Pad Thai and coconut curry fish filet. Both were excellent and not your run of the mill Thai dishes. Excellent flavoring and portions were standard. Topped it off with sticky mango rice dessert which was a lovely balance of warm sticky rice and cool refreshing mango. NCute neighborhood spot, casual with easy parking lot access. Service was good, food didn't take long to come out.
