Date night in LA! I've seen this spot all over social media, so I really wanted to try this spot. They're most popular for brunch, but we visited during dinner.Parking: Every man for themselves lmao. Free street parking, but finding a spot was difficult. We parked down the street and walked over.Ambiance/Environment: Such a cute spot with lovely floral decor, bright lights, and comfortable seating. This spot is outdoors with roof coverings and heaters. When we visited, the place was decorated with butterflies, plants, & flowers. We visited at 18:30, and it wasn't busy. Just a few other groups.Service: We were greeted by a hostess and seated immediately. Our server, Alex, took care of us. We were told they only had beer & wine during that time which bummed me out because I really wanted to try their cocktails and coffee. Throughput was quick after ordering though.Food:1) Short Ribs - The short ribs cut so easily, and it was mouthwatering. It was cooked medium rare, and the red wine sauce made it more flavorful. I mixed it with the mash potatoes too.2) Creamy Shrimp Pasta - These were definitely creamy. Make sure you mix it well! It was served with peeled, baby shrimps. Just wished there were more shrimps.3) Hummus & Pita - My bf loved this! The pita was toasted well, and the hummus had notes of citrus and garlic flavors.4) Grilled Napa Cabbage - This was a simple, light appetizer.Pricing: This is LA, so of course prices are $$$. We enjoyed their dinner options. Wished they served more alcoholic drinks during dinner time. We'll be back to try their brunch options.

Lady Byrd: 10/10Swung by Lady Byrd for the first time and had an AMAZING experience. Such a beautiful restaurant that truly helps you enjoy the lovely Cali weather we get so used to sometimes. And the food... the Spanish Frittata was perfect. Delicious and fresh. Will definitely be back for more great food

I hope every person that was there tonight writes a 1 star review. Had a 715pm reservation and there was a long line down the street. And worse yet, no staff member to guide anyone or answer questions. There was one snobby hostess in a white coat and purse seating people. She was sooooooo rude. Once a few couples in front of us got to the front to check in, their reservation time had passed. But it was because they were in the long line waiting. The demon woman in the white coat accused them of lying and arriving late. On a side note: if you are passive and wait in line, you will never get seated here. You will be ignored. You have to be aggressive go to the front of line and tell lady you have reservations. Once seated, we were sat at a dark table. No lights, no headlamp (some tables had heat). There was a $70 per season set menu. No mention of this till we sat down. After sitting in the dark and cold for 15 minutes without any service, we left. I've read many posts tonight saying that their valentines was ruined.... Well we left and it was the best decision ever. Run for your life. Don't come near the is place. And also FIRE the woman in the white coat.

Visited on 12/22I visited during the Christmas time and really came to get in the Christmas spirit with all the nice decorations. We got there around 1PM and there was no wait. We opted to sit in a greenhouse, just be careful if you're tall in there. The ambiance was everything we expected. For the food we ordered the burrito with the side salad and the pastrami sandwich with the fries. The portions were a tad too small in our opinion as we could've ate a bit more to feel full. The portion of the fries was plenty. The burrito tasted average and the salad was good. The sandwhich had a nice toast to it and could've used a bit more meat, nice flavor. The staff are kind and constantly check in. This is a nice place to come in small or big groups in a cozy environment.

What a beautiful place! The food and service were amazing too! I love that that my one year old grandson got his own paint set and birdhouse. Beautiful experience for us all. We came to celebrate my daughters birthday and I will definitely be back soon!

Located in Echo Park, you can find the lovely Lady Byrd Cafe, well known for its charming outdoor seating! As we're in the thick of the holiday season, they have decorated with quirky little knick-knacks, poinsettias, and christmas trees! My sister and I headed here for brunch and had some delicious food. The ambiance created by the private outdoor seating, decor, and friendly service made this whole experience super enjoyable! Celebrate the holidays with your bestie at Lady Byrd Cafe! What we ordered:- Creamy Shrimp Pasta- Smoked Salmon Egg Benedict- Bacon Burrito

It was super packed on a Saturday brunch time but we got seated quickly. But it did take forever for the waiter to come around to take our order and for the food to come out. The eggs Benedict was not the best I've gotten. But my friends seemed to enjoy their meals. It's a nice place to hit up with a group once in a while for the atmosphere but maybe not so much for food cravings.

Finally got a chance to try out this cute place after hearing amazing things from a coworker; and it did not disappoint!I had a strawberry margarita and chai latte for my drinks. The margaritas are made with Soju rather than vodka/tequila, and personally, I really liked it! Their chai was also very flavorful and foamy on top.Their outdoor seating area is very cute and just off to the side when you come in. I would love to try and eat on their "inside" portion. I had a scrambled egg dish for my main dish which was very flavorful and took up my entire plate. Our server was very attentive to our drinks and refilling our water. Overall. It's very cute, very romantic setting. But if the weather is cold/damp, I can see how sitting outside would be disappointing. Parking is difficult because it's residential but overally not awful.
