Amazing view of LA all around the restaurant.Staffs were great and the food was all delicious. We came here during dineLA and we had an amazing experience. We had lobster bisques and shrimp cocktail for appetizers.My husband and I both had the filet mignon and it was cooked perfectly. We ordered extra sides, creamed corn, mushroom and Mac and cheese. They were all delicious.For dessert we had cheesecake and the chocolate mousse. We had an amazing overall dining experience, service was great! we will def come back.

Enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings at LA Prime. We were celebrating a birthday and Thanksgiving at the same time, and they did a great job decorating the beautiful private room. It also has an incredible view of the city. Food was delicious with perfectly made prime rib carved in front of us. Turkey was good. We also loved the bread and all the sides. The service was impeccable.

This was my first time dining here at Prime LA. I decided to try the Dine LA menu. Although the filet mignon was slightly overcooked, the prime short rib was outstanding. We were celebrating a special occasion, and Cameron, our server, who was both professional and friendly, surprised us with a complimentary dessert. The views were stunning. We opted for valet parking which was $11. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit.

We came to LA Prime for Dine LA week. This was a great choice and it did not disappoint. First, our pre-dinner drinks were excellent. Lemon drop martini and an old fashioned. Dinner was an 8 oz filet minon and braised short ribs with mouseline potatoes plus a side of brussels sprouts. All excellent and made to perfection. I had a glass of Daou reserve cabernet sauvignon. Excellent with my steak. Desserts were included and delicious. Our waiter, Mark was superb! He was so attentive and was amazing. Definitely ask if you are there. I recommend this restaurant anytime.

Overall it was great, service was quick, very good for dates, definitely would recommend, 2nd time here, the vibe is very nice too, food was tasty

Great service. Great wine. Some of the best steaks we've ever had. The sides were delicious. Everything was flavored well, the sides complimented the main and each other and the steaks were cooked to perfection. Great view. Shared 2 desserts with 3 people, which was more than enough. Looking forward to coming back someday. Here during Christmas time and enjoyed the playlist. Only suggestion is updating outdated furniture for a more modern feel.

I have to say the view was the best thing about this place. The size of the steak and lobster was bigger than other steak houses and the service was attentive but other than that it was very average to me.. nothing that would bring me back or recommend to others unfortunately.

Food at LA Prime is and has been amazing. I can not complain about the service ,very informative and pleasant servers , location is upscale and very low on the noise level ambiance is pretty lovely. The Views are always so amazing to see all of Dtown L.A .

Can't give this establishment any stars. Came for dinner 8pm (no reservation) front desk female advised it would be 15 minutes stood near desk for 40 minutes before we left. Female hostess never came back male hostess came in and ignored us, saw us walk towards the elevators and still didn't care .

LA Prime is an upscale restaurant on the 35th floor in the Westin Bonaventure. The ambiance is elegant. The tables are aligned along the window perimeter for outstanding views of Las Angeles. The service was excellent. Our questions about the menu were answered with detail. We ordered a variety of sides. Recommended by our server. The mushroom medley was prepared perfectly and was buttery and savory. The asparagus was perfectly cooked. The asparagus spears were tender and firm, not soft and mushy. The creamed corn was sweet, and the cream sauce delightfully rich. The Parmesan creamed spinach had the perfect balance of flavor. The Parmesan cheese was not over powering. Shrimp scampi, pelugra garlic butter, crusty baguette - 5/5The large shrimp were perfectly cooked. The shrimp was firm and tender. The garlic sauce made the large shrimp very flavorful and tasty. A very nice selection for shrimp lovers. NOTE; You just get large shrimp, no pasta of any kind comes with this selection. Chilean seabass, pan seared, garlic tomato relish - 5/5Another perfectly cooked seafood selection. The Chilean sea bass was flakey tender. The garlic tomato relish sauce went perfectly with the Chilean sea bass. The size of the fillet was around 6oz.New orleans gumbo, lobster, prawns, scallops, andouille sausage, jasmine rice - 5/5This selection was a very unique, one of kind. We have never seen a seafood gumbo that. With this seafood gumbo, you get a whole lobster tail, shrimp, and scallops. You'll be hard pressed to find a restaurant in New Orleans that will include premium seafoods you get with this selection at LA Prime. The gumbo flavor was on point, and the andouille sausage was embedded in the gumbo sauce, and sliced pieces in this dish. The gumbo sauce was a little spicy as most gumbo sauces are. Overall, you won't find a better gumbo selection unless you're in New Orleans. Our experience at LA Prime was excellent. The service was excellent, the environment comfortable, and the views of LA outstanding. This is an upscale restaurant, so expect upscale pricing. I recommend LA Prime for an enjoyable meal with that special person.
