My latest visit to La Pizza & La Pasta in Eataly, in Century City, Los Angeles, California was a quick trip to grab a bite before heading back to Las Vegas. It was a Saturday evening and without any reservations, I was very happy to be seated immediately. The busboy asked me if I wanted tap water or bottled water, then he quickly returned with the preferred water. The waitress came over and asked if I had any questions about the menu, and also asked if I wanted to drink any alcoholic beverage or anything besides water. I ordered the Sparkling Italian Soda, which was very refreshing.Ordered the Classic Calzone and waited patiently. In a very reasonable time, my food arrived. The calzone was very good, although the stuffing could have been a little bit more than it was. I think it was two tiny pieces of prosciutto with some cheese in it. The dough was delicious, crispy but not too dry, just enough crunchy. The restaurant was pretty busy! I was definitely happy to be able to get seated and happy to be served quickly. I'll definitely return when I am in the area.

Update on my review. Immediately after I posted my Thanksgiving dinner experience due to complete lack of service and care. I was messaged by Luciana Ramos asking me to please send her an email so the restaurant could offer a chance to make things right. I thought that was very cool to receive and looked forward to hearing what she had to say. I have reached out and emailed her twice without a response lol! (just like the poor service) Truthfully, I am not surprised, it shows same lack of care and follow through I experienced dining at this restaurant.Below pic was the note she sent-

Just went to La Pizza La Pasta in Century City with my daughter and boyfriend, and it was a fun, laid-back spot. The food was really on point with generous portions that hit the spot. The standout has to be the Pashuto pizza, it had a crispy yet chewy crust, a rich, tangy tomato sauce, and just the right amount of gooey cheese and fresh toppings that made every bite amazing. We also tried the kids' pasta, which was simple but delicious, with perfectly cooked noodles and a flavorful sauce that even adults could appreciate. Overall, it was a great family-friendly experience with tasty, hearty food that left us all smiling. Also the service was awesome too, the staff was friendly, attentive, and kept things moving so we didn't have to wait long for our meal.

Savory pizzas and pastas! Hidden inside the Eataly store, this restaurant offers a wide variety of Italian cuisine, from pastas, to pizzas, to traditional Italian street food. There's something for everyone and everything we tried was absolutely delicious! We started off with the supplí selection, which comes with 6 pieces, two of each-- loved them, crispy and filled with cheeses and sauces. Then we had two pizzas, the massese and the salumiere. My favorite one was the salumiere, made with ham, salami, and sausage. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor dining; we sat outside and enjoyed the sunny weather. Our server was very kind and service is fast, pizzas came out in less than 10 minutes. I must admit, it is on the pricey side, but the food is incredibly yummy so it's definitely worth the price. Will be back for delicious food!

The good: located at Eataly at the century city mall. Eataly is a fun, foodie heaven. Another positive note is the bread and the olive oil... both fresh and tasty. The bad: service was slow and inconsistent. They brought out the food one person at a time , with waits of 10 minutes between orders , so one person got their food before everyone else. Then they bring the bread but forget the olive oil ... took forever for them to bring it too! Another negative are the portions and prices Overpriced for sure and some of the pasta dishes were small. The food was mediocre at best. The pasta and pizza dough were really good but the sauces and toppings were salty and not that great. Not sure I'd come here again...

My friend and I recently dined at La Pizza La Pasta with Dine LA because we read it will benefit city's wildfire relief efforts. My friend an I split the bill, I have my receipt. After reviewing the charges on my account for double the amount of the signed receipt at hand. I reached out to the restaurant on February 1st and spoke with a female manager and explained the situation. She asked for the receipt number last 4 credit card number and my phone number, she said she will call me back. She said sometimes that happens when a check is split. Never had that happen to me before but I said okay. Never received a call from her and now I see the split amount and the full bill in my credit card bill, triple the amount on my receipt. I called back on February 3rd and left a message with their host named Melissa, she said that the managers were in a meeting but she will have a manager give me a call back, Unfortunately, I never heard back from anyone. It's crucial for restaurants to maintain transparency and ensure accurate billing and maintain customer trust.

Another amazing experience at La Pizza & La Pasta, I like to sit at the bar (especially when dining solo), gives more of a full scope of everything going on, & a better overview of the menus. Added bonus when a bar is as beautiful as this one!Today I had Will H. (& I'm sorry I missed his team members name), both were excellent, but most of my interactions were with Will. I did the 'Taste of Eataly' prefix, outstanding price, especially for the options. Went with the bruschetta as a starter, love the use of the cherry heirloom tomatoes. For my entree the Tagliolini al Limone--I could use tons of flowery language, but the simplest most effective way to describe it--perfection, there was not a single thing that to be requested to enjoy my lunch. It didn't need any salt, pepper, Parmesan--perfectly seasoned & balanced. I really appreciate that this restaurant gives you the opportunity to try your food w/out hovering over you with a pepper mill or cheese grater, when the food is delivered.Drinks I did the Eastside & then tried the Strawberry Smash. I asked Will about it as I adore strawberries, but was worried it might be too sweet, while he assured me it was more on the tart/sweet side, he made a few minor tweaks & I am now stuck ;-)with yet another reason to want to come here; complimented the citrus notes of my lunch perfectly.Compliments to the lovely hostess as well, I didn't get her name, but she answered questions on my last visit about the different restaurants in Eataly & the menus & remembered & welcomed me back. (About 5'3-4", shoulder length dark hair, olive green top). Teams like this make regulars.

First time trying this place I tried the Seafood Linguine and Calamari for a quick bite. Pasta was good nothing exceptional same with the Calamari. I would say food is overpriced. Ordered Affogato nothing exceptional you can get it anywhere else. Food I give 2, Ambience I give 4, service 4 overall 3. Will I come back? Maybe for Affogato and ambience.

- Received text that my table is ready and we walked back to the restaurant. Told to wait in a line behind people who had just arrived (waiting in the line again after getting the text is frustrating). Then when we get to the front the host tells us to stand on the side where we originally were.- No bathroom located within the restaurant area.- Pizza said it had basil on the menu. It came with only 1 leaf of Basil on the whole pizza.- Bolognese pasta was good.- Left over box for the pizza was not a pizza box. It was a little folding box and we had to split the pizza slices and fold + stack the slices onto each other.- Had card ready in hand when check arrived. Server dropped check off and walked away.
