YOU CAN'T GET BETTER!!! I can't wait to go back!!! This food is AMAZING!! Tiny, sweet, festively decorated spot on Vine Street in Hollywood, La Numero Uno is my new favorite Mexican/Salvadorian restaurant!! DELICIOUS, fresh, homemade tasting dishes at very good prices! By far, THE BEST Mole I have ever tasted!!! The Goat cheese and spinach pupusa was sooooo good and tasted as if they JUST made it! We shared the 3 enchilada plate with mole which were packed with fillings (chicken, beef and cheese!) and rice and beans to die for! My favorite was the Carne Guisada (Like a beff stew) which had lots of veggies and melt in your mouth, super tender meat. The ladies who helped us could not have been nicer!! YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS PLACE - - It's wonderful!!!!PS - - they do not have a bathroom - - not sure how a restaurant can do this in this day and age, but there is no bathroom for customers.....they do have a hand washing station. Go potty before you go --- the food is worth it!

Ok ok, so this is one of my favorite spots to eat in Hollywood! The food is always great quality and fresh! The staff is attentive, but not always speedy with service. The restaurant is small so when there's more than a couple people inside it does feel crowded.I have ordered from both the Mexican and Salvadoran menu (mixed culture menu) and all have been exquisite! I came with my buddy who is actually Salvi and he told me the food was up to his standards when ordering food from "the motherland" lol.The prices are about average for what you would expect to pay in Hollywood, but I would say it's worth it because I always leave happy and satisfied!The only reason I have this place a 4 star review is because they lack a public restroom for paying customer's which in this day and age is absolutely necessary. Hygiene is important! I would recommend this place!

I'm absolutely obsessed with La Número Uno! We discovered this restaurant four years ago, and it has never disappointed. No matter what you order, it's always delicious. I know that every time I eat here, my tummy will be happy, and I'll be in a great mood for the rest of the day. It's truly the best! I especially love their green wet burritos and pupusas, but honestly, everything on the menu is amazing!

The food here is outstanding! My coworkers and I frequently order takeout from this place, and we've never been disappointed. Our orders always arrive well-packaged with all the necessary condiments. We've ordered from here more than five times now, and everything has been great. We typically go for their pupusas, but let's not forget their caldo--huge portions that come with rice and tortillas, easily enough to feed two people. Yuca con chicharron is another one of our favorites.

Small shop with only a few tables. They have a large menu with a lot of dishes to choose from, but it's confusing if you're not familiar with the cuisine.I ordered a few different kinds of tacos. The food was not bad but nothing amazing either.

I really like this place, it used to be a great place to eat.But recently their quality of food and customers service has turn to be lower quality than am usually used to.But am upset now because they are charging you a high tip without your authorization and that's not fair to us as customers. The cashier told me to call after 5 pm for a refund. When I called back 10 minutes after 5 pm.The same cashier answered the call acting like she was the manager and aggressively she argued with me about her error and she told me never to come back to the restaurant because I wasn't welcome anymore.Basically banning me because she did like the fact that I called her out on her error of an unauthorized charge.
