La Dolce Vita

What a delightful experience. We would have never ended up here, except our reservations fell through somewhere else. I had read about this place, and I was excited to try it. This place is quintessential Beverly Hills. The decoration is beautiful and so tasteful. It was a Sunday night before a 3 day weekend. People were out! It was great people watching.We called and got a spot at the bar. Our bartender, Ashley, was super helpful and very sweet. We got the Caesar, Branzino, and Spaghetti with meatballs. They were all phenomenal. The skin on the Branzino wasn't as crispy as I would have liked, but that's because it's in a piccata sauce. But the sauce was worth it!The bread they bring out, was some of the best bread I have had. The one with sesame seeds?! Fugetaboutit. So good!They serve it with gardinere, oil, and vinegar. We had the sommelier recommend a wine, and she was great. She got us something perfect and in our budget. Note: Valet doesn't start until 7. There is a free lot, but it's a little hard to access if you don't know you're way around. We circles 4 times before we found it. Definitely try this place.

My favorite place in LA for a romantic dinner. The food, the drinks, and the ambiance are truly what make this spot so special. The lemon pasta is an impeccable dish that keeps me coming back! it's a nonnegotiable.While I've dined here often and love the overall experience, the service could use some improvement, particularly at the host stand. A bit more attention to manners and professionalism at the entry would make a big difference. However, once you're seated, the wait staff is usually fantastic. It's just a matter of getting through 'level one,' so to speak!Despite that minor drawback, this restaurant remains a favorite for its incredible food and atmosphere.

Excellent experience. From the food, to the service and the vibe... it was perfect. One of the best Italian restaurants in LAThe trick at this restaurant is to not go for the basic items on the menu. We ordered one of everything on the menu and the dishes I would have never have thought to order first were spectacular. The chicken, the pork chop and the veal parmigiana were out of this world. Our server was incredibly charming and delivered an experience we will never forget.

Really nice ambiance, make sure to make a reservation because it gets packed. I don't remember was it was called but I got a cocktail with aperol, tequila, and grapefruit, and it was delicious. We ordered the Ceasar salad which tasted a bit too fishy for my liking, and the artichoke which was pretty good, but you can only have so much of it. For our entree we got the pasta with prosciutto and it was good. I would say for the price you're paying, it was not worth it. However the service was great.

Upon entering we gasped. Surprised at got spacious this almost speakeasy like restaurant is. Very low lighting, quiet and intimate. Besides the loud drunk group of people seated next to us. Brian was a great server. Forgot the welcoming cocktail. It's interesting. I liked it. The bread and pickled vegetables were absolutely delicious.Milano gimlet I enjoyed this cocktailBoulevardier was nice alsoSpaghetti and meatballs. Meatballs were more like baby meatloafs. Lol delicious though.Side of beans were good like, very good.Branzino. Super good too chocolate cake was rich, but good.Parking is tricky in the area. Best to just do the paid lot.

So fun to try a new restaurant with a lot of great food, fab wait staff and the vibe was hopping. We enjoyed the table Cesar salad. The guy making it had a fun and bubbly attitude.Our waiter made great suggestions. The artichoke was delish with lemon, breadcrumbs. He suggested sharing family style. We had a pasta that was lemony, so so good, veal and steak. I loved it all.

Let me start with this, 5 stars for drinks but 2 stars for the food. Drinks are great here but the food is very disappointing. The Veal Parmesan was burnt on the bottom and extremely dry, chewy! Bucatini was just okay. Over priced for the quality of food that comes out of that kitchen. Salads were okay but nothing special. Come for drinks, not the food. Martinis are great here and come with a mini carafe. Loved the ambiance and decor. Maybe I'll give it another chance on food and re-review but who knows.

Always the best time at this restaurant! pastas are super yummy--definitely some of the best I've ever had. The service is always awesome; everyone so friendly and attentive. Plus, the vibe is very cozy. Highly recommend!

The pasta here was absolutely amazing. The lemon one was the most unique and also our favorite. We also ordered the veal parm which is a large size and definitely meant for sharing. The ambiance is as you would expect, very dark, moody, and a great place for a date night or catching up with friends. The one comment is about the service in that they essentially expect you to order the second you sit down so we felt rushed to order when there. Overall, it was a good experience but likely not somewhere I would return.

I finally tried La Dolce Vita. It was delicious! Every dish that we ordered was perfection. The service was stellar! Our server was helpful with recommendations and portion control. They were attentive and frequently cleaned the table. The potato croquette, branzino and large beans were my favorites. Actually, everything we ate I would order again! I have nothing negative to say about this restaurant besides maybe being extremely dimly lit. Looking forward to coming again!
