Had dinner here on a Friday night for a friend's birthday. We loved the ambiance, service was great, and the food was even better. I got the tostada terraza and tostada de callo. Both were super delicious and I still think about them. My man got the same thing and he also really loved them. The fish on both tostadas tasted very fresh and had a nice texture. The sauces were also delicious, I wanted to lick the plate...

Was here again. Our bartender Thomas is the best!!!! Friendly! Knowledgeable about mezcal's (which we love the most) fast service. Can't get enough of the food here!!! Great place to eat and drink! Perfect for a date night!

I'm not one to write reviews but after yesterday's experience I am definetly writing one. Walked into the restaurant on Valentines with low expectations due to not having a reservation, but never expected to be treated SO POORLY by the receptionist. I can tell she was really bothered at the start of getting our info for the waitlist. She did mention that there was no more reservations and we would be put on the list where cancellations are. Again, our expectations were low and we were just trying to get a drink and have a good time. 1. If you do not like people, PLS DO NOT BE A RECEPTIONIST 2. If you are upset on valentines that you have to work, SUCKS TO SUCK! Call out girl. We went to go get a beer at the hot dog spot 4 minutes down the street and noticed we got a text message. We took about 8/10 minutes from finishing our beer to walking back ... This is where it gets PETTY. I texted saying we were on our way back and walk up the stairs again to the restaurant. We go up and there are two couples talking to the receptionist, so we wait and finally make it to the front. We tell the same girl with the "NASTY" attitude that we got a text message and she was so annoyed that it was 10 minutes over. She said um so we sent you a text 10 minutes ago, your table was given to someone else, "HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY" in the snarkiest voice. Thankfully it didn't bug us in the moment but I def was going to write a yelp about it because people go out to have a good time and people like her try to make your life miserable. Happy Valentines to you girl, I GET WHY YOU DIDN'T HAVE ONEI recommend trying other restaurants in the area if you're not looking to have a weird ass encounter with the receptionist.

*** Michelin Plate ***I remember LA Cha Cha Chá being extremely difficult to get a reservation at when they first opened in 2021, but it appears as though the demand has died down at least a little. This was a restaurant I was pretty excited to try after reading about it on Eater. As the sister spot to Mexico City's Terraza Cha Cha Chá, this place offers delicious food in a great atmosphere. I love the decor and ambiance. Service was great throughout the meal, and I was particularly impressed by their cocktails. If in the area, definitely stop in here. LA Cha Cha Chá is an excellent dining option located in the Arts District.

Overall the food was fantastic. Modern take on Mexican and Californian cuisine! There were 7 of us so we were able to try several dishes. We ordered ceviche, calamari with squid ink, street corn, tacos, and 2 main dishes. (Chicken and fish) the service was attentive and pleasant. The only thing is their check... they charged us 20% gratuity but when we reviewed the check/. It was almost 21.89%! Hmmmm..: It is a cute restaurant and pretty at night since it is on the rooftop. However, I'd review your check if you decide to dine there!

I heard wonderful things about La Cha Cha Cha and it looks like a nice trendy place to sit and have a yummy drink, so I was really excited to try it . Unfortunately, my experience didn't live up to the hype. From the moment we walked in, the service was disappointing. All the staff was so rude. Our server seemed distracted and wasn't very attentive, which made the experience feel uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the food arrived cold, which was especially disappointing considering the prices. The flavors were also underwhelming, and the overall quality didn't match the expectations I had based on the restaurant's reputation. I was really hoping for a great meal, but unfortunately, I left feeling unsatisfied and unwelcomed there. Based on this experience, I won't be returning, and I can't recommend it to others.

Honestly, I'm shocked at all the great reviews..................We were initially greeted by a man at the front desk who was so rude with zero people skills. Should've left then but didn't only because we were already there and hungry. Later we discovered he was a bartender. Our waiters were nice but sadly the food prices did not match the flavors. There was nothing special about the food that made us say wow. In fact it was very underwhelming for the confidence in the pricing. We left hungry and just got home and my husband is making a Trader Joe's frozen pizza as I'm writing this. Super over hyped food and will not be returning.

This is a really cute spot located in the arts district. They have good chill music playing and there's plenty of seating areas. Bartenders were really friendly and fast . The sun hits perfectly yet there's plenty of shade ideal for a brunch date with your friends or even an outdoor dinner date. I ordered a michelada which was delicious, I'd love to come back and try the food someday!

Came here once for drinks at the bar and thought the drinks were pretty good! Decided to come back with friends for dinner and was disappointed. We arrived for a reservation we made and were taken to be seated far away and requested a different table. The seating hostess was extremely snippy about this and said we'd have to wait 15-20 minutes for a different table we preferred, which we were fine with doing. This seemed to still upset the seating hostess for some reason as she continued to communicate passive aggressively with us. We waited at the bar and a different seating hostess shortly took us to our preferred table. Our server was friendly and took our orders promptly. We ordered the guacamole and aguachile to share, and then my partner and I shared the tacos dorados and chicken mole. The food was unfortunately not very good and very overpriced. I'm used to LA prices, but this place was just not worth it whatsoever. For example, it costs $18 for a single birria taco. In what world is that a fair price for a basic birria taco? Our food also took extremely long to come out. After being seated at 7:30 we didn't leave until 9:45 from the delay.I wanted to like this place as the ambiance and the drinks were good, but the service and food left us wanting.

Some dishes were hit or miss, but service was very very slow. Usually restaurants try to get people in and out as quickly as possible, but we waited nearly an hour for our food to come out and it was hard to get someone's attention. We were seated at 6:35pm and we didn't get to leave until 9. It's not like we were stalling at our table either, most of that time was waiting for our food to come out. We ordered the Guacamole ($16), Ceviche ($21), Taco de Chicharron ($12), Tostada Terrazza ($22), and Carnitas ($40). The guacamole and ceviche came out pretty quickly, and then the taco de chicharron came out about half an hour after we ordered. The carnitas came out an hour after we ordered though and the tostada came out after the carnitas. We also ordered a drink and it didn't come out until around the same time as the taco did.Out of what we ordered, the ceviche and carnitas were the best ones. You could taste the coconut brine with the citrus juices in the ceviche, and you get a lot of fish in the dish. The carnitas, while it took sooo long for it to come out, came out really tender and they give you a ton of tortillas and other toppings to eat it with. The carnitas is definitely something you could share with someone else though. The guacamole I would say is not worth the $16. Nothing about it was any more special than what I could make at home. The tostada I think would be better without the chile aioli, since I think it overpowered the rest of the flavors of the tostada. Our server was really nice however I could tell that they were very busy and overwhelmed and it was a bit difficult to get anyone's attention. We waited half an hour for someone to check up on our cocktail and it also took a while for us to grab someone's attention in order to get the check. We almost ordered dessert but decided that it wasn't worth it if we were going to have to wait another 30 minutes for it. I understand that they're busy and there was apparently a large party they had to accommodate but waiting an hour for food is a bit insane. Some dishes were great and other not as much, but I don't think any of them were with the hour wait that we did. The food was good but because of how long it took, I don't think I will be coming back here.
