Established in 1870, L'Antica Pizzeria da Michele is a world-renowned Neapolitan pizzeria well worth visiting. This specific location opened in 2019 as the first in the United States, but it's worth noting that their original location in Italy (Naples) has a Michelin Plate recommendation. Featuring a wood-fired oven, a centuries-old recipe, and both imported and locally sourced, high quality ingredients, it really doesn't get much better than this. From start to finish, our meal here was nothing short of excellent. The pizza was definitely the star of the show, but everything we ordered was delicious. Aside from the food, the drinks were top notch, the decor/ambiance was on point, and service was impeccable. We all had an unforgettable experience. Recommendations highly recommended. Go ahead and give this place a try! It will not disappoint.

I came here for my birthday with my partner and I really enjoyed the food here. I can see why it has high ratings and it lived up to the hype a bit. My favorite meal of this date was definitely the steak and potatoes. The steak was cooked beautifully to a medium rare and it has this nice char to it which made it even better! It was tender and juicy, I must admit I wasn't expecting much since they're mostly known for their pizza, but this surpassed it in my opinion. The pizza we ordered was the caserta and it had a good flavor to it, but the crust was kinda soggy in the middle. I understand that the cheese and maybe the broccolini was kinda wet, but still. Definitely did not hold up well, but the edge crust of the pizza was delicious. It had a nice chew to it and I just thought they did a great job on the crust. I would like my pizza more on the crispy side, but that's just my preferences. The olive cake was yummy, I had a few olive oil cakes so I can't say this was amazing, but my partner said it was solid since he had more olive oil cakes than me. The chocolate molten lava cake was super rich. If you love chocolate then this is the cake for you! I loved it. It was decadent and surprisingly not too sweet. My partner also ordered a side of pistachio ice cream for me and it paired very well with my chocolate cake. The restaurant was lowly lit so it's kinda more on the intimate side, but very loud and bustling. Our server was a bit awkward, but I get it if you're new to the game. Haha she was just creep up walking backwards and stare at us until we looked at her and then asked how everything was going. But maybe that's just her personality. She was kind. I would come back and get the steak again! I would also come back to try a different pizza!

Yeah, alright I think this is one of the best pizzas I've ever had in my life. If you're willing to splurge a lil bit (jk--more like a lot), then make your way over here to be blown away. We came here for valentine's day and the ambiance felt upscale and trendy yet also cozy. I loved the natural element of having the trees brought indoors and the hanging lights on them created a warmth that made our overall experience even better. The pesto pizza was a hit, and we ordered it to also come with prosciutto, ugh ~chefs kiss~ (except for the fact it was $50) The crust was light and airy, the pesto was incredibly flavorful and paired nicely with the cherry tomatoes and the creamy truffle burrata. This pizzeria definitely stands out for their high quality. I know I will dream about this pizza for as long as I live. Their drinks were also fantastic!Staff were busy and helpful throughout the night. Downsides to this place are definitely in the prices, and also the fact that parking doesn't come easily in this area (primarily metered street but they also have paid valet option). Overall, would return for a special occasion :-)

I came here 3 years ago for my birthday. It's located in Hollywood, beautiful restaurant with a good size indoor dining space as well as a charming outdoor patio. When I was here 3 years ago, we got the zucchini flower appetizer, the margherita pizza, and the Diavola pizza. My favorite was the Diavola, so delicious! My boyfriend also tried the maccheroni bolognese that he said was really good. This time we tried the capricciosa pizza and the carbonara. The pizza was really yum, but the carbonara!! It was the best I have had in a long time. I lived in Rome a few years ago, so I know my carbonara!! I have seen so many versions over here that include garlic, heavy cream etc. Not authentic. This was phenomenal. And the service was great each time. I can't wait to come back.

Great authentic Neapolitan pizza and fresh pasta. The restaurant is in a very weird area right off of Hollywood but once you get inside, it is very cool and has a great patio with lights and cool trees where you can see the pizza being made through the window. The Neapolitan pizza is very very good, but remember this is not New York Pizza so it is very floppy and can be a bit soggy, but it is very good. I recommend sticking with a basic pizza as too many toppings can make it soggy. We had the carbonara and it was incredible. Probably the best I've had the pasta was cooked to perfection. Service was very good. Our waiters timing was perfect. I don't recall his name. I remember he had a nose ring.

I SWEAR I wrote a review about this place already but I guess not :') This was the first restaurant we had our date night in in LA as it was 2 blocks away from our old place. I loved being able to walk here. The neighborhood is a bit eh but once inside, it feels so nice and cozy and makes you wanna stay for awhile. I've been here about 4-5x in the past year and have taken some friends and family as well.My family doesn't like Italian food as much as me and I told them maybe it's because they haven't been to a good one so I took them to L'Antica and they loved it! The first time we went, our server was a nice, friendly guy who also moved to LA from Dallas so we bonded over that throughout our meal. When I went back with my family, I believe it was a server named Amanda and she made sure my sister and mom had a great time.I'm not the biggest pizza fan but I looove the prosciutto pizza from here down (or up?) to the crust. Definitely a perfect place to go to on a breezy summer night.

So my plans to go out for my birthday changed and I looked for a classy Italian restaurant and this place popped up. I didn't know what to think at first but the whole experience was absolutely amazing. Once I checked in my party the host took us outside that was very decorative and the feeling felt very warm. So we started out with some appetizers, The meatballs were out standing to start off with. They were very rich in flavor and the sauce was fantastic. It came some garlic bread and we were dipping it In the remaining sauce to end the dish. For the main course we tried two pizzas and some pasta. The Diavola and margherita pizza were delicious and the Pappadella genovese was just outstanding. The Short rib on that pasta was so delicious and the noodles were great. Lastly I had room for desert and I had their Bread pudding with Pistachio gelato and that was amazing. Overall the waitress really took care of us and wished my happy birthday. I had a great experience!

Couldn't not add these to my review. The desserts were some of the best Italian pastries, cakes and gelatos I've ever had. Absolutely delicious. L'Antica has become one of my favorites in LA, the drinks, pizza, appetizers and desserts are all a 10/10.

Good, classic pizza. Came here on a date with my wife and the pizza was prepared well and had all the attributes of a classic slice of margherita. The gnocco was also really tasty - the combination of the arugula, gnocco and margherita pizza were enough to fill us up.

The best pizza I've had in LA. I have different standards for pizza than the average American because my family is from Argentina (IYKYK) & have also been to Italy. Most pizza spots in LA are trash, but not this one. I had the Prosciutto & Arugula Pizza and it was amazing. It's thin but filling and cooked in a wood-fire oven. The ingredients are all high-quality and the dough is so good!As for the location, I'm not a fan of Hollywood at all but this restaurant is off a side street so it's lowkey. And they have valet right across from it. The ambiance is really nice too. It's a huge restaurant with indoor and outdoor sections. The lights are dimmed, but not to the point where you can't see the menu. Our server was nice and checked in on us just enough. I truly can't wait to go back.
