Came here with friends and my nephew on this past Friday. It was a fun experience for them and they enjoyed the different food items (4.25/5). The prices are decent and it is a nice place to try different fresh sushi, handrolls, ramen and so forth. We liked getting the little ball (but only received 2 of them...guess that we didn't get enough plates) during this visit. This is a good location inside the mall (Glendale Galleria). Easy parking. Would definitely return again if my friends and/or family wish to do so in the future.

I went just before 7pm and to my surprise, it wasn't that busy and I was able to get a booth. I don't mind eating at the counter too since I was by myself, but since it wasn't busy, I ask if I was able to get a booth and they were more than happy to seat me right away. The service was so great during this visit. Price and quality of the sushi was reasonable. I've had better sushi before, but this sushi was still pretty good. Great spot if you want to try different kinds of sushi, and the revolving conveyor belt adds mort fun to the experience. Definitely coming again!

Conveyor belt sushi restaurants are one of my favorite things and Kura does the job pretty well. This location is virtually identical to their locations Tokyo in terms of menu and the manner in which it operates. These days, the prices are much higher here in LA than in Tokyo lol. It's really nice to be able to get items right off the conveyor belt and to also be able to order from the kitchen and have it sent directly to your table. I had a super nice little feast of spicy tuna roll, spider roll, kappa maki, takoyaki and rainbow roll. Everything tasted great! The only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is that I felt that the waitstaff were somewhat unwelcoming. Not really a big deal, but this type of sushi place is supposed to be fun and have a more lighthearted atmosphere. It won't stop me from returning. Kura is awesome :)

Probably my favorite revolving sushi chain. Great spot to have sushi alone too- doesn't require you to really interact with anyone. Just grab your plates off the conveyor belt and/or order through the tablet! Decent service at this location. My favorites are the seared scallops with mayo, Hokkaido scallops, Negitoro, salmon belly, uni, and octopus. And after you eat your weight in sushi, you can walk around the mall. :)

Never been here so I was excited to try it. The service was great. The food was meh. I got a miso soup that was extremely salty, I had to add hot water to get it to be edible. The sushi was ok, some of it looked like it was sitting for quite a while. Based on how much we spent to quality... I think I can find a sushi place with fresher fish for same pricing.

Sure cute clean place with helpful staff. This can be entertaining for kids to watch the plates revolve around the restaurant , the robot going around with drinks and the dirty plates 'magically' disappear into a slot at the end of each table. The prices are 3-4 bucks per plate but pigeon size portions so chances are after eating ten items you'll still be someone hungry. My only real issue was the catering to special diets . I love they offer charts to show what dish contains what allergen but ...it takes time to see what dish is coming down the automated pipeline and then check what allergens it contains .I guess for special diets the safest is to special order items .Overall I recommend the place for the experience, quality and uniqueness.

I really like this location compared to other location that I've been to..The staffs were friendly and customer service was excellent! You can either grab a plate on the revolver or use the interactive touch screen at your booth to place an order like hand rolls, drinks, and udon.I feel the sushi here tastes better and worth the price too!Overall. I'd come back if I'm in the area. It's literally located near the food court and by the mall front entrance.

The Kura Revolving Sushi Bar is a fun experience that one should try at least once in their life. This franchise has been around for about 15 years now and we just love their gimmick. Growing up I would go to Little Tokyo and enjoy a revolving sushi bar -- today we headed out to Glendale and after an afternoon of shopping we decided to get on the waitlist for Kura. We were not disappointed. The wait in total was fifteen minutes, and we were seated right away. This month's offering included some PikMin treats like blueberry cheesecake and a hot Cheeto sushi roll that was just fun to try. On the conveyor belt we got some American Wagyu nigiri, seared tuna and salmon, and of course some assortment of hand rolls from their menu. Every fifteen plates that you return gains you a gachapon ball with a fun surprise: and this month we got the PikMin toys. Each plate is about $3.50 and goes upwards to $6 depending on what you pick out. They even have a cute robot that brings you your drinks and refills. All in all a fun jaunt and experience especially if you've got small kids who are new to the sushi experience. A definite fun trip to Kura is a must when you're at the Galleria.

This Kura just is not good. I gave it a second chance but just as bad. I posted a pic of the snapper, which was poorly cut and falling off the rice. I also posted a pic of the tuna, which was so pale it looked like Costco salmon. The available choices are about half of other Kuras, so a bunch of empty containers kept rotating around. In the positive side the service is very good, but I don't think this place will last.
