hungry on the way back from LAX, found this lovely little spot through yelp.father and daughter serving some of the most thoughtful and soulful persian food i've had anywhere! affordable for the level of quality, and we and the other two people there were served delicious complementary tea.get the saffron rice cake w/chicken. presentation is beautiful and flavors are understated and subtle. not overly salty! (i did add some extra, but this is also a good thing! you can add salt but not remove it from a dish). great flavor falafel as well, highly recommended even as a destination, really worth your time.great food, great service, cute spot, friendly people, affordable, can't ask for much more!

I have been craving Persian food for many weeks now because I usually come here weekly to get my fav dishes. Been so busy but finally got time today to dine here and finally bring my Dad with me. His first time here. I ordered for him to eat here with me and for my mom a to-go while she waited at home. 2 Chicken with Green rices for each of them. And of course Sabzi without the meat with white rice, a side of Green rice, tomatoes, and so yummy my Persian Boo's and my fav Persian saffron rice pudding. :) Always a delight to be here and glad everyone else enjoy their food as much as me. :) As for the low 3 star reviews from other people who say their chicken is dry. Why don't you be more mature to tell the Owner about that in person prior? Like take the finest respected example from a person like me who have gone to a famous pizza place before and they burnt their pizzas with me only tasting the burn. I didn't even bother to Yelp them. I went to the Manager and whispered to him what happened and that I didn't want everyone to be eating burnt like that because it was unhealthy. He was so immediately alerted and was so grateful that he improved big time immediately. The next time I returned, I saw all their pizzas being never burnt again at the bottom of the pizzas for all to eat. I even saw the Manager diligently making sure and handling the pizzas with the ovens himself especially after I advised him prior last time to watch it himself so he can see for himself. It was a huge great difference. Yay. Seriously, for you negative reviewers, have the decency to have a talk or tell the Owner first rather than putting them on blast on Yelp like that. The Owner here is so simple and so nice to chat with. With that, the low 3 star yelper can easily acquire the decency to tell him that your chicken was dry. I'm sure he would help make your experience better with your chicken, had you told him in person prior. This cafe is very understandably 8-9 months new and not only can greatly grow, it's more so the low 3 star reviewers that really need to grow up.On a brighter note: Love that they're open later until 10pm so I can come for my late dinners when I'm hungry for my Persian food. Hehe :)Today I happily spent over $100 in our order. And like tipping. Total $140 :)

This place is a hidden secret. Well at least it seemed hidden to me since I drive past it all the time but never noticed. We stopped by for lunch, it was a nice day so we ate there, they have an outdoor eating area. When I arrived I was greeted and told to use the menu that's online and place my order there. I'm not sure but it seems that you can only order online. They served tea while we waited for our food.

Came here for dinner on a Friday evening. We were the only patrons so we were served very quickly. We had some of the most friendly served we've ever experienced and were incredibly impressed at the setup! We were started with some free tea and the owner came by multiple times to see how we enjoyed our food. Can't emphasize enough how much of a personal touch they put on the experienceThis location caught my eye because I'd been wanting to try a Tahchin and saw it was one of their specials. One of the more unique dishes I've ever had, it is incredibly floral for a dish that is primarily rice and chicken. I'd certainly call it an acquired taste, but if that sounds interesting I'd consider giving it a try. There were a few other unique sounding dishes I'd love to come back and try There are also a lot of more standard middle eastern dishes that would be less surprising to an unfamiliar palette, so even for those with less adventurous tastes I'd definitely recommend.

It's great to see more Persian food options south of the 10 freeway, especially in Inglewood. Kuku stands out with its cute and trendy packaging, offering a more fast-food-style take on Persian/Middle Eastern dishes. While it's not as traditional as some other Persian restaurants, it fills a nice niche for quicker, casual dining. The staff here is exceptionally kind and friendly, and on occasion, they even offer free desserts, which is a sweet bonus! If you're in the area and craving some Persian flavors with a modern twist, Kuku is worth a visit.

What can I say? It's a few thousand years of passionate art, chemistry science and just pure love in one dish. The colors, the flavors and the taste ... it's out of this world !!!

I have driven by KuKu Café a million times and have always vowed to check it out. I finally walked over there as a treat to myself for surviving my DMV appointment (it's about 10 minute walk from the DMV). One does not think of Inglewood for a Persian food, but let me tell you, this place is excellent. I ordered a shawarma beef bowl with eggplant dip - it was so fresh and good! The service was excellent - the cook (who I also think is the owner) could not have been any nicer. As I waited for my food, he offered me some hot tea that hit the spot since it was a chilly day. There's no indoor seating but there's plenty of outdoor seating (with heat lamps), they made it cute and inviting - they did a great job with their space. I would definitely come here again and recommend this place to anyone craving good, fresh, quality food.

Incredible! Such a wonderful addition to the neighborhood. Lamb fell off the bone. Rice was well seasoned and ingredients felt incredibly fresh. Owners are present and served me tea as I waited. I am not of Persian descent but a Persian family sat behind me and I overheard them say "this feels like home."
