Kkondae K Bbq

Service was really great, the host explained all of the cuts of meat to us and also the sauces/dips that came with the dishes. All of the meat tasted fresh, the honeycomb pork belly was thick but not too chewy. The pork skin didn't have the texture I expected, I thought it'd be more crispy like chicharron but it was actually a little chewy? Either way delicious and the spicy sauce/marinades they had went amazingly with the meats.The restaurant was very clean and well ventilated, not smoky and hot like a lot of kbbq places.Also the restaurant has its own very open parking lot which is a huge bonus in ktown.

Meat quality was good. Definitely the atmosphere/vibe was wht I found more appealing. Service was great. We went nye and wasn't too busy when we went so they were very attentive. Valet parking. Old yangmani location.

Kkondae is the latest addition to the infinitely long list of Korean BBQs in Koreatown. I'm sure it's a tough business to be in with so much competition, but Kkondae seems to hold its own and is definitely a solid option. They seem to specialize in pork belly and pork cuts, although they also have beef options. You can order a la carte or choose a combo. I recommend saving yourself the hassle and just going with one of the combos. Combo A is an all pork option and Combo B is a mix of pork and beef. We went with combo A, and between the cuts of pork, the soup, egg, and the fried rice at the end, it was enough food for 2-3 people. The meat was good quality and everything was solid overall. They cook everything for you and the service was super attentive and excellent, especially considering that they opened recently. Not much more you could want from a Korean bbq. Also for any drinkers... the soju is a bargain compared to other places at $11 a bottle. 5 stars for both the food and the service!

Place just recently opened a week ago!Very delicious and the restaurant itself felt like a homely feel!Meat quality is exceptional, we got the Combo Two which included Pork & Beef meat dishes and Bean Paste Soup with Fried Rice lastly.What a traditional KBBQ would all around include!Thank you for the exceptional and kind service! I'm not really a big fan of pork but this place really wowed me and changed my mind about pork. I already went twice because it was so good. I was also surprised at the reasonable prices. They were all $25-35 range. If you go out to eat these days bbq is $55-60 and soup is in the 20s. Some of their items come out smoked partially grilled and the server grills the rest of the meat for you when it gets to the table.The thick pork belly after it was done grilling became crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I'm not really sure what they do to it but it's not like the pork belly I've ever had before. I'm not even joking when I say it's the best I've had.The kimchi gooksoo ($11) is a must. It's sooo good and refreshing. It went perfect with the bbq they have.The pork skin 돼지껍때기 (not to be mistaken with fat..) was crishpy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Went so well with the powder they give you. It's high in collagen so it's super popular in Korea rn.The pork ribs come out sliced and also smoked. The meat was so juicy every bite was perfection. You can't forget K-Dessert! At the end they have options of fried rice for $(11)Get it!! It's sooo good. The naemul (veggies) they use for the fried rice just hits different than the regular kimchi rice other places have. This place hasn't been open long but they're already pretty busy and I can see why. The food is good and the service is good.

The food came out so beautifully and the meat was really great quality. And all the staff were so friendly.

My experience here was amazing.Great food, great drinks and great service!This place interior is also fantastic and touched, recalled my 80's, 90's vibes.Meat was great quality and beautifully presented and the portions on the meat also are great.Lastly Do-Si-Rak bibimbap w/ veggie was on fire. It's crazy.This place is cool for dates and even if you want to have dinner with the family.

Great service, delicious food. Good new spot in K town to check out. Been there twice already. good ambiance for a good night out. Pork and the fried rice at the end hits the spot. Easy to park as well.

I went there few weeks ago with a group. I love that they have space for your bag. The food is great but also well priced. The service is very attentive and friendly. Definitely a place to check out. Went in hungry came out full!
