Initially I called, the woman kept me on the phone for over 15 minutes. I know this because I was on the way there, from a movie. A friend and I showed up & ordered. We asked for a eta on the food and it was 15 eta. We sat down and waited over an hour. Even then we remained patient, I was starving & what bothered me was the food. None of it was good, We ordered baked salmon rolls and received some dry rolls with plain salmon and rice. It was a very strange experience.

My bf and I wanted to sushi place that was nearby, good, and economical. I'm aware sushi can be a pricier cuisine, it there's nothing worse than paying a pretty penny and being dissatisfied with the food. This was NOT the case for this joint. Being that we were on the blvd, naturally it's flooded with sushi options, many we have tried some great some not so much. Kizami was not busy which on this night we preferred. Service was fantastic and decently priced. We had two appetizers, 2 rolls, a 2 piece of albacore belly and we split a tall Asahi and the bill my bf said was under $100. Ambiance was quiet and welcoming. I think they had one tv on - we had a comfy booth. The staff was super friendly and conversational. Anyway, we definitely will be back and recommend.

So happy we have a new cute sushi spot to go to near our place. The chef is very friendly and welcoming and the food was all fresh and delicious. The toro steak and Yuzu Kampachi packed the most flavor and the fish was buttery smooth. Great service and great food

Food was 10/10, absolutely delicious and really good quality.Service was also great my issue was cleanliness. The waitress was nice but had really dirty hands and fingernails and couldn't put any of the food on the table without touching it with her thumb or rubbing some part of her hand on the sauce. This absolutely ruined our experience and made me nauseous. Please clean your DIRTY fingernails and wash your hands if you can't bring my food without touching it. The dirty hands and nails ruined the experience of REALLY good food.

This place is a great find! My bf loves sushi and said this place was fantastic, he liked that the rolls were filled with real crab, salmon, tuna and not faux meat. The price is great and the portions of fish are generous! I am trying to eat dairy and gluten free, I enjoyed the miso soup, salad, Steamed veggies in place of the tempura to make it gf, the rice, and the teriyaki chicken was sooo good! The pieces of chicken were large, and the sauce was sweet and delicious. I appreciate our server asking the cooks if things were gf for me and even brought out Tamari as a substitute for the soy sauce! Thank you for being so thoughtful and accommodating me! My bf ordered the spicy tuna crispy rice- he ordered this everywhere and said it was 8/10The Hawaiian roll our server recommended was 12/10 sooo good!Salmon sushi, salmon roll and the sashimi were all amazing. High quality fish! Tasty! Hit sake was a must and a Sapporo.Would recommend for families, girls night out, friends meet ups, date night etc. great local spot that's comfortable, inviting and plays fun music! Beautiful photographs on the walls make you feel like you're in Japan. Generous portions, well priced, friendly staff, loved the music playing, quick service, comfortable casual atmosphere, will gladly return for more! Good vibes all around!
