tucked in a small corner is this hidden gem! they offer the best korean street food dishes from kimbap, spicy rice cake to even fusion dishes! i loved the generous portions and deep flavor! i loved the rose mala jjimddak ($35.99) it was good for 2-3 meals! the shrimp tempura kimbob was my absolute favorite! the ordering is done at the kiosk or worker at the front. he was super sweet and helped me pick out what to order. would definitely be back!

KINGBOP LA is 100% Thanos-approved--no question about it. Honestly, if Squid Game Season 2 had KINGBOP cater in Ktown, LA, maybe Thanos would've had a fighting chance. I stumbled upon @kingbop_la on @yelpla and, funny enough, ran into another Yelp Elite there. We both picked KINGBOP because of its stellar reviews, and let me tell you, Yelpers absolutely nailed it this time. Let's talk about their gimbap (Korean sushi rolls). I had the Spicy Pork and Bulgogi Gimbap, and wow--it's next-level addictive. The secret? That fluffy egg inside the roll. As I devoured it, I couldn't stop thinking about Thanos. Sure, he's a total villain, but let's face it: *we* needed him in our Squid Game world. And that's just the start! KINGBOP's Supreme Fries with corn cheese and bulgogi are unreal. Then there's the gigantic Bulgogi Torta packed with cheesy corn, kimchi, and spicy mayo--it's a masterpiece. Their soy garlic wings? Insanely addictive, but my kids wiped those out before I could even enjoy them properly. The real MVP for me, though, was the Rose Topokki. The sauce was so rich and flavorful, with fish cakes, rice cakes, Korean sausages, and those slippery acorn noodles--it was pure heaven. KINGBOP isn't just a meal; it's an experience. Located in a small corner plaza in a busy intersection. The parking could be an issue depending the time you arrive.The food could be ordered thru their kiosk screen. The server was very friendly and attentive. I appreciated her positive attitude. The food did take slightly longer in preparation, and served freshly made.The kimbap ordered the egg and spicy pork. The egg was light but delicious. The spicy pork was really tasty. Wanted to try more but I doubt I could finish the rolls. I would like to try their fried chicken and spicy rice cake next time.It was a great dining experience. I am glad I gave it a try. It gets a 4.8 out of 5. Will come again!

The $27 Kimbap and chicken combo has gotta be one of my new favorite deals in all of Ktown. Not only are you getting the soy garlic chicken of your dreams, but the Kimbap is absolutely stuffed with protein - PLUS the fries and radish. Everything's fresh and delicious, the quality here really is unrivaled.

This was an excellent find. The flavors of the food engaged all of my taste buds with perfection. These will be flavors I crave as the days go on and we will have to return sooner than later. The owners are so kind and humble. We also had some fries with a special homemade sauce that can't be found anywhere else in LA. They were AMAZING! We grabbed a couple of Spam Musubi to go for later. Seriously- check this place out. It's only been open for a few months but I'm hoping this is only the first of many locations to come! Fantastic!!

ROLL'in my way to the KING of Kimbap in Koreatown! @kingbop_la , the sister restaurant to one of my favorite Korean spots @kingyubu_la , just opened on Washington Blvd in Koreatown! They specialize in Korean soul food dishes such as kimbap, fried chicken, toppoki, K-ramen, kimchi cheese fried rice and Korean fusion pasta. My favorites were definitely the kimbap, which were huge in size and stuffed with so many yummy ingredients, and they even come in other unique flavors such as unagi, which is really hard to find at other kimbap shops in Ktown. Service was very kind despite being overwhelmed with delivery orders coming in, and I would recommend both their dine-in and delivery options! Very high quality food and for an amazing price point. Do not hesitate to stop by and try out the food!

Food was absolutely amazing, no complaints there.I will say that if you're not ordering ahead, you're going to be waiting quite a bit. I have gone here on two separate occasions. I ordered ahead on the second occasion, but the order still came out 10 minutes after my pickup time. Not sure if this is because I ordered a tempura roll and they have to make it fresh, but I have no concerns about the quality.Interior of the building has a bunch of tables for people and they constantly have k-pop playing, it is usually empty though.I'm rating this a 4/5 because of the slow order time, but if I am able to order way ahead of time then this place is perfect.

Another visit to Kingbop! We tried kimchi fried rice and honey soy garlic chicken this time. Both were so flavorful and delicious! We literally devoured them...

This is definitely a great spot for kimbop with a variety of great options! I had the shrimp tempura and tuna kimbops which were both delicious. The kimchi fried rice was definitely my favorite dish, I loved how they included not only a fried egg on top but scrambled eggs as well. The fried chicken was super crispy too. Our server was very nice and always checked on our table. It was a nice spot!
