One of my favorite kbbq spots in LA! It's become a go-to for several reasons. For one, parking is decently convenient for K-town, with both street parking and valet options. Plus, at least in my experience, the wait seems to be pretty manageable compared to other kbbq hot spots - not sure if I've just been lucky, but I've rarely had to wait, esp with Yelp's waitlist. The place is spacious, great for both smaller groups with their cozy booths and larger parties or celebrations. I've been here for both types of outings, even celebrating a few casual birthdays (korean style with drinks ofc) in their larger seating areas. The atmosphere tends to be lively, especially during peak hours.Their intestine combo meal is my absolute go-to. The daechang (large intestine) is marinated with tons of flavor and is pre-cooked before being served, giving you the perfect base to crisp it up just the way you like on the grill. I'm also a fan of their house sauce, which pairs great with the meat. The makchang is solid too. As for the gopchang (small intestine), I'm not a fan, so I've never tried it and can't speak to that. The combo comes with stew (soybean paste preferred over gochujang stew), steamed eggs, cheese fondue, and even ramen at the end. Occasionally, you'll also get kimchi pancakes (jeon), which is always a nice touch! While I usually come for the intestines, I've also tried their regular beef combo, and it hasn't disappointed. As for service, the staff has always been quick and attentive. They take great care in cooking the meats just right and are always on top of refilling sides when needed.I've brought many visitors to this spot and they've also always enjoyed it :) it will continue to be one of my ktown faves~

Everything happened so fast!!! The moment we sat down, we became part of this highly efficient money making machine. we ordered a combo and 2 extra dishes, the waiter had to cook 3 different kind of meat for us. They served, they cooked and they left us a bill slightly before we finish the whole meal. Everything happened under 30 mins. The table was very small that it can't even fit 2 dishes at the time besides all those small plates and utensils. The food was really delicious. Not too spicy nor too sweet. If you like Korean style food, you will like it for sure. The waiters were so professional and cooked really well ( way better than my bbq)

Excellent meat quality and top tier service! We came here on a Friday night for a group dinner and could not have had a better experience. Located right next door to Ahgassi and one of the few KBBQ spots in KTown that takes reservations. We made a reservation online for 7 people and had no issues accommodating us. There were quite a few large parties there as well. Here's what we ordered:King Chang Family Combo - This was the perfect amount of food for us. All the beef items - especially the prime boneless short rib - were delicious. The marbling of the beef was actually insane (see pictures). We added a half order of seasoned short rib just in case but we could've done without it. Large intestines - I've only had beef intestines once and was hesitant on trying it again, but this ended up being one of my favorite dishes of the night. This is one of their specialties and highly recommend giving it a tryFried dumplings with mozzarella - These were tasty and weren't too spicy Spicy buckwheat noodles - Pretty standard but served chilled and paired nicely with the grilled meatHuge shoutout to our server Alvin for the best service I have ever had at a KBBQ spot. He cooked all of our meat perfectly and helped us with everything before we could even think to ask. Note, this is not AYCE but we were absolutely stuffed and came out to about the same price per person for a premium AYCE option even after several drinks, side orders, and tax/tip. Lastly, we walked to the restaurant but they have a valet parking lot with plenty of spots.

What an amazing Korean BBQ joint in LA. We went late at night and we were seated right away. Service was prompt, friendly, and responsive. The place was clean, modern, and well ventilated, which is a must for a Korean BBQ place. The set up on the table was new to me. The table had your classic meat grill along with a separate small burner. We later found out that the small burner was for the usual side soup and steamed egg. I thought this setup was pretty clever and very effective in keeping these side soup-based items hot and fresh on the table. Usually, they are cooked in the kitchen and brought to you but with this setup, you taste the freshness as they are cooked right in front of your eyes. I love this setup and perhaps this is the new trend in Korean BBQ.We ordered the beef combo large. It came with all the side dishes along with steamed egg, soy bean paste stew, and as a bonus, ramen! Never had ramen while grilling K-bbq but it was a fantastic combination. Brisket, marinated kalbi, and prime fresh boneless rib were absolutely delicious and high quality. They cooked for you and they were great in every which way. All the side dishes were tasty but I especially loved the raw onion with their house sauce. Their onion went really well with the melted cheese dip for the finished meat. This is our new favorite Korean BBQ spot for sure and I am already salivating thinking about our next visit to LA.

Cool hidden spot! I'm actually happy to have come across King Chang because I'm sure there's times where our regular spots are way too busy and great backup spot! From the second we walked in, we were greeted by Alvin who got our table and provided excellent service along with great recommendations! With his recommendations we got a full B1 prime boneless short rib with amazing marbling cook it medium rare! We also got a full B3 the marinated prime beef short rib also cooked it medium rare. Lastly we also got B4 beef bugogi! Alvin was great because he helped with majority of the cooking which was great because I got to enjoy the meal with the family. For sure family friendly, and please note that they do have a valet so don't park on the street cause it's super dark on the streets. The entrance for the valet is under a neon sign with Korean letters located on Harvard and also on Harvard you'll find a self parking lot $6.

So so good! We randomly found this spot and decided to eat here. My kids love bbq so it was perfect after a long day at universal studios. We ordered 1 family combo with meat and 1 combo with intestines. It comes with an amaple amount of banchan, ramen, steamed eggs and rice. We were all so full and happy! The noise level was good where I didn't have to shush my kids every 2 mins because they are loud. lolIt's a fun place to eat. Everyone was so friendly and service was great. Parking seems like it can be a pain but luckily we found street parking right next to it. Otherwise there's a pay as you park lot for the businesses in this strip mall.

Great food and service, and unlike all other Korean BBQ restaurants, you don't leave smelling like the meat. Our server Alvin was friendly, attentive and helpful. Parking is convenient. There's valet parkingright behind the restaurant. Take the first left into the driveway. I walk with a cane, and the valet parked out right near the entrance - which was so thoughtful.

One of the best Korean Barbecue experiences I've ever had! The food quality and service are awesome. I can tell KingChang is authentic given their menu options and how popular the restaurant is on a weekday evening among Korean diners. The price is reasonable. Valet parking is convenient! Would definitely recommend to my friends and visit again.

King Chang is serving up some of the best Korean bbq I've had in Ktown! They serve authentic Korean cuisine specializing in premium cuts of meat The large beef combo ($138 - feeds 4 people) comes with prime brisket, marinated short rib, your choice of soup, and unlimited banchan The quality of the meat is top tier, but what really made the meal for me is their quality of service. The servers will actually cook for you! Now you don't have to worry about overcooking your meat or enjoying your meal. Kick back, relax, and have a good time here
