We decided to visit Killer Noodle Tsujita for Valentine's Day as a last-minute idea. As expected, the wait was long, but that's understandable given the holiday and the fact that they operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Despite that, they were accommodating, even with our toddler and his stroller. I ordered the Tokyo Vegan Dandan Noodles (Level 3 spiciness) along with a side of seasoned egg and corn for our toddler. I specifically mentioned that the egg shouldn't be in my bowl since my dish was spicy and contained peanuts (which my child is allergic to). When the food arrived, the corn was correctly served on the side, but the egg was mistakenly placed in my bowl. However, the server quickly caught the mistake and brought out an extra egg on a separate plate, which I appreciated. The food itself was delicious, and I loved the rich, creamy sauce. My only complaint is that the vegan nakumiso was quite salty. Other than that, everything hit the spot. If I find myself craving a solid bowl of dandan noodles, I'd definitely come back!

My boyfriend is a huge ramen fan and we've heard about this place for a while so we decided to try it out and got our meal to go. The noodles came in 3 different flavors and we chose Tokyo and downtown. Tokyo has a peanut & sesame flavor while downtown is vinegar & chili oil. You can get the noodles dry or wet (with soup). You also choose your spice level. After level 3 they add ghost peppers so be warned. The noodles themselves were cooked perfectly and the toppings were good. The soup though is extremely rich. The flavors are very overpowering so after a couple bites it can be a bit much. The fried chicken bowl was good but a little chewy. The pork bun was terrible. It's the bun itself had the consistency of a sponge. The gyoza however were delicious! The flavors were unique but not overwhelming. I can see why people love this place but a little goes a long way.

Sawtelle neighborood is a wonderful place, and this ramen restaurant fits right in.We had a great moment lunching outside on the terrace.Their tan tan mien is absolutely delicious, spiced on order so you can choose from mild to super hot. Fresh and tasty. Nice decoration. $20 per person for the area is fine.Service was fast and friendly. They don't accept cash. We'll go back to try their other specialties.

The Baseline: For a ramen restaurant the noodles must be fresh, cooked with consistency in firmness, broth must be tasty with good body, accompaniment additions must match with the style, and the plating must work for the ramen presentation/function.Food: Five stars for broth and noodles. Four stars for the add ins and extra dishes. Tokyo style beats Downtown style in my opinion because the body of the broth isn't competing with extra vinegar. The base bowl of ramen is about a respectable $18 so add one will kick up the cost. Since measuring you numbness/spice levels is stirred into the base cost and the base ingredients is all you need the ramen is a five star dish.Service: If it gets busy then wait staff are busy. You will have to flag down your server so expect this in evening service. Lunch will be more tame and enjoyable when it comes to service. Water decanter chilled on the table lets me control my own water glass.Atmosphere: Killer Noodle is well decorated and has a consistent style. The seats are comfortable and the tables are well situated with a good amount of eating area. The outdoor patio has heating lamp so you will be okay outside in the winter.

Killer Noodle Tsujita is next level. The spice is intense but the flavors are even better--deep rich and completely addictive. I got the soupless ramen and it was unlike anything I've ever had. The noodles were thick and chewy coated in a bold nutty sauce. The Sichuan peppercorns hit immediately but in the best way giving you a punch of heat in the face. The Tokyo-style tantanmen was also amazing with a creamy umami-packed broth that balanced the spice really well. The pork buns were good too with tender flavorful meat that basically melts in your mouth. The whole place has a modern vibe and service was so fast. Easily the best bowl of killer soupless ramen in LA

I am a die hard tsujita fan so it was only about time that I try killer noodle. You choose levels of numbness and spice from a scale of 0-6. I do not prefer sichuan pepper numbing so I get a 0 in numbness and went for the standard 3 for spice. We tried both versions of the Tokyo noodle and I gotta say they were not my cup of tea. This restaurant is meant for peanut lovers FYI. It was very rich and flavorful but the flavor was overly nutty imo. I found the taste to be extremely overwhelming especially with the giant pieces of cashew mixed into both dishes. I couldn't taste the spice at all in my level 3 dry noodle but tasted a kick in the soup version. Be prepared to wait if you come here for dinner because it will be bustling. Parking is tough since it is in the heart of Sawtelle. Service is fast and friendly.

Killer Noodle is known for their spicy ramen and tantanmen and it definitely delivered! We were seated at the bar and ordered a karaage to begin with. The karaage was crispy with a special house made sauce - great way to start off the meal!My partner and I both got the Tokyo style with soup. I love the nuttiness from the sesame broth. As someone who doesn't usually go for spicy ramen, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the dish. I'd definitely come back again when it's not peak dinner time to avoid waiting in line.

if you're craving a spicy, unique ramen this is the place to go! i loved the vegetarian options, since you can make the tokyo or downtown ramens vegan! i opted for vegetarian and kept the seasoned egg, which was seasoned and cooked to perfection! i'm not the biggest fan of numbness so i got a 1, and a 5 in spice level, which was comfortable for me as a spice lover, and i wouldn't go higher! the peanut added a nice creaminess to the broth and some crunch :) i would've liked if the vegetarian version came with soy meat in the place of the meat in the normal version, but there was still a good amount of food that i felt full. there was a ~30 minute wait on a friday night, and parking in sawtelle isn't too hard to find if you're willing to walk a little! definitely will come again :)
