A solid 4. The chicken koobideh was good. You get 2 skewers with your plate. The chicken kebab was good but you only get one skewer. The humus was decent, nothing special. Here's the highlight for me:The rice. I really enjoyed the rice. The saffron flavoring was pretty damn good. Just some context. There are a lot Mediterranean places out there to choose from. When in the mood, we like to try to find the best spot to have as a go-to. I found Kebab Bar on Yelp. We finally decided to give it a shot, as it's close to work and accessible. It definitely didn't let us down and earned a repeat "visit,". Let's see if it keeps moving on in our unofficial but official-soundibg Mediterranean restaurant rankings. I think that might be a run-on sentence. Aw well ha ha Final Word: It's all about that rice, tho.

3 years later, back and very different review! Got the salmon lunch kabob. $20 for about 5oz of salmon, a ton of rice, an entire tomato and pita bread if you want it (I didn't.) the salmon was grilled perfectly tender flavorful and a little charred in a good way. The rice was warm, mostly moist and flavorful. The tomato was grilled and hard but I like mine this way vs overly ripe. It's a little pricey but isn't everything these days. I'm sure this location rent isn't cheap. A good quick and more healthy than not meal. Nice people good service quiet setting easy to sit and eat or work and very easy parking. I'll for sure be back for that quick Mediterranean fix!

Kebab bar is an alright choice! Food was great, their customer service was awesome, and the place was clean and cozy. I just hoped the pricing of their dishes could be lower! Each plate of chicken koobideh cost us $22.The Food:- Chicken Koobideh (9/10):The chicken was seasoned to perfection, it was tender and juicy (dry meat is the worst) ! They were very generous with the rice portion. Also, I liked how they cooked their rice, they weren't soggy and had a great aroma to them! The naan was alright, it was pretty bland (but maybe they were meant to taste different from Indian naans.- Beef Koobideh (7.5/10):I thought their beef was not as flavorful as compared to their chicken koobideh. The beef felt like they were under-seasoned.Overall, if you are craving for kebabs and ran out of options to go to, this place might be worth a try! I just wish they weren't this expensive (give us less rice if you need to, but $22 for a plate of kebabs might be a little too expensive for me).

Just landed into LAX or want some great Mediterranean food before you get hit with the LAX security madness, or just are hungry for well made super moist kebabs? Got to the Kebab Bar. I know, sounds like I work for them but I don't. We were hungry after landing and wanted something non-chain and non-basic. Found Kebab bar on Yelp and it was awesome.A little hard to find (have to turn off Sepulvida into a parking lot - TG for the Kebab sign on Sepulvida or we would have missed it). Worth the tripCall outs: The chicken was SUPER MOIST, like probably the best I have had. Also the portions were large, took half of what we ordered back to our hotel. Mediterranean rice was awesome and the Service was stellar. The woman that took our order and delivered to our table was so nice and looked like she really enjoyed what she was doing and the customers. Very reasonably priced. Suggestions: The main suggestion I have for them is to get better pita bread. The bread was flat and kind of dry - maybe spend a little more on fluffier and more moist bread and charge $1.00 more. That one change would make this a "5" rating. Definitely hit Kebab Bar

Today, our travels took us to Los Angela's. Walkkgn around killing g time before our flight, we came across Kebab Bar. Small, but tasty side establishment. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. Many different kabobs that include chicken, beef, lamb, Cornish chicken, wraps, etc are offered. We got the combo plate with beef and chicken. We also got a side of eggplant spread and hummus. They came with very light pita bread that was amazingly light and crisp. My better half really liked the eggplant spread. The meat of the eggplant gave it a creamy consistency. The hummus was good...typical hummus. The chicken and beef were fantastic! Both burst with spices and flavors. They were so tender you could easily cut the meat with a fork. Very very tender!Overall, the place may not look like much, but they sure can cook. This Iranian influenced restaurant makes the perfect kabobs! They are slightly pricey but normal for California. If you are nearby, you need to check these guys ouy!

Food was great! Well prepared, good portions and tasty. It's basically a takeout business with about 5 tables for eating on premises. Staff were efficient and friendly. It was very clean. As the business is in an outdoor mall, there's plenty of parking in the lot. Easy to get in and out.

Looking for a fresh kebab this is the place to go. I got the combo plate and it was pretty good. Nice sized portions as well. I really liked the hummus. Pricing is a little steep but keep in mind the portions.

What really surprised me about the place was for very small outfit more suited more for just 'take out' food, how very expensive it was considering the tiny store front eatery located in a not premier location in a strip mall, and thus expected lower overheads. I found it much more expensive than other full service Persian restaurants with more comprehensive extensive menus, multiple servers and linen covered tables and serviettes. I ordered in for two. Required to pay at the register in advance with self served canned drinks from the refrigerator. The food was okay (not amazing) served in plastic containers and flatware. A plate of one skewer Barg Kebab with rice charged at $26.99, together with the soft drinks, and nothing extra was over $74. Also surprising was that they charged 3% service charge which I found astonishing for such a place and the fact that there was no service per se to speak of and even after I tipped. As for value, and overall impression, I would not recommend it,
