I go for food quality & value. Love the concept quick casual sushi. Love tip being included so easy in & out. Downside the stools you sit at are brutally uncomfortable The parking lot is way too small for this size restaurant

First time visitor Located in a very small parking lot with even tinier parking spots One main room with 23 seats and hard wooden stools Lot of trust me decor on the wall that brings nostalgic moments Mexican coke and sprite serve and Japanese beerCan order by a preset selection or a la carte and minimal sashimi options It is basically warmed up rice in a crispy wrap and the protein or veggie of choice Pricing ranges from 4.75 to 8 a la carte Each person gets a order form They can split the bill cost with multiple partiesNo tipping policy 16% fee added on top of sales tax - explained on the menu Server and service was nice, explained everything and ensure everything was enjoyed Eel was warm and tender with the tender rice and crispy seaweed Crab was sweet Salmon had some type of seasoning on itYellowtail as well some type of seasoning Surprisingly for the 5 pieces just enough and was enjoyable with the crunch of the seaweed and good portion of rice and protein ratioGood spot to try out, seems like a chill vibe. Solo dining group dining date night, probably not as kid friendly due to high stools and limited menu offering

It was a real bummer, I don't eat rice due to sugars. I asked politely if they can make my hand rolls without rice, they said absolutely not. I asked why, server mentioned because the founder in the photo that she pointed to doesn't allow it. I was with a group of 6, I could have ordered sashimi but I wanted the hand roll experience, just without the rice. They stuff a lot of rice and hardly any fish, which I'm ok with. Maybe they don't want their clients to see the small amount of fish being served, not sure. Anyways, sorry I don't have any photos because I didn't eat. It's all good and it's not for everyone. Also, horrible bar seating, kills your back, but smart so customers don't stay too long and socialize.

My second time here - after trying cold fish wrapped into the seaweed I got contacted by one of the regional managers. I came again - this time in Monday and it was packed. I had to wait for like 15 mins but it was a holiday.I got seated and server lady was surprisingly good - I was getting food on time and rice to fish ratio was good too. The problem remained - half of my fish felt frozen. I will give this business 4 stars because of the regional manager and the bar's manager Christina - she was amazing - attentive, friendly, cooperative - what a great host! Thanks and I ll see you again soon

***3.5 STARS***If you're craving handrolls, then Kazunori is a pretty solid spot to go for it. I wouldn't say it's the best but it gets the job done. Be warned though, the parking lot in front is super tiny and there's limited parking around the area. As for their handrolls, I liked the toro, yellowtail, and albacore. The salmon was just okay (a little bland), crab was a bit fishy to me, and I was not a fan of the sea bream but my bf said it wasn't bad. I'd say that the handrolls here are very simple compared to other places that marinate the fish and add texture like fried garlic inside. Service was quick even though they only had 1-2 people making handrolls for everyone. I wish the menu had more variety but like I said it gets the job done. As for the ambiance, it's pretty dark inside and feels more like a place for you to get a quick bite and then leave right after.

First time at this location and wow everyone was right. One of the best Hand-rolls we have ever had. We tried the 6 piece set. It was so good that we kept ordering. What a wonderful experience. Cant wait to go back.

My favorite place to get takeout cut rolls ! Great quality and great value :) The toro and salmon rolls are truly superior. So soft, the fish is completely tender. Barely have to chew! The packaging is so aesthetic and I found this to be the best road trip meal.I ordered on their website for pick up and it took about 30 minutes to be ready. Parking can be slim in the lot too.

I was a little bit skeptical to order sushi in this area where for to-go. But that night I was really craving for fresh sushi and was recommended to order from this place.I placed an order online on their official website and not from Uber Eats or any other services . There's a separate entrance for DoorDash and Uber eats. I made a mistake and the worker told me to go back to the restaurant entrance.Anyways, I ordered the regular 16 piece and a 16 piece with lobster. The packaging is so pretty and high-quality. I almost didn't wanna eat it. Check out my picture. I love every single of the pieces. They are really fresh and sushi rice is just perfect. Wow, I was waiting for my order and the sit down area looks (darker environment). Definitely there will be some wait during weekends. I'm definitely coming back next time for dine in. You can also park in the neighborhood up the hill for pick up if you don't have parking spots or you don't want to pay for valet.

Always great service, the host was great, food is excellent and they turn seats quickly despite no reservations. It's worth a wait in any case but I try to arrive for an early or late lunch for less waiting. I do wish they had a larger sake list or allowed byos, as I think this would be such a neat place to try out different craft sakes.

Kazu Nori in Studio City is definitely a popular spot--it's always packed, and seating is limited, so expect a wait. My boyfriend and I visited on a Tuesday night around 9:30 PM and waited about 10-15 minutes, which wasn't too bad.The quality of the fish in the hand rolls was excellent--fresh and flavorful--but the execution left a lot to be desired. The hand rolls weren't properly made, which made them difficult to eat. The rice and fish mixture kept spilling out, which is a sign the rolls weren't assembled correctly. While it's a solid option for a budget-friendly sushi fix, there are plenty of other hand roll places I'd prefer to visit instead. Overall, decent but not exceptional.
