Yes, I finally went back to the place and everything was great as always. Last time, I didn't have a good experience with the servers but the staffs tonight is amazing. The owner (I believe) Cherrie reached out to me immediately last time and offered me 2 hand rolls to compensate for my experience and asked me come back to give it another try.I came at 9:30 on a Thursday, no line, immediate seating. I was greeted nicely from the front to when I was served. Manager Scott, the chef and my server were really kind and patient explaining my menu and refilling my ginger and hand rolls quickly. Overall, this place gains my 5 stars solid and hands off to the exceptional customer service. Trust me, I'm also in F&B and I know an ethical place and good place by looking at how their employees are treated and how they treat their guest. Will definitely come back next time.

Totally worth the extra for the experience!! Devilishly tasty, i'm not a fan of hand rolled sushi. but that ko ika... son of a bitch, so yummy, wow. Japanese Izakaya Bar ambience, smooth music.Service is nice .

Such a great place for small or medium sized gatherings. My favorite kind of lighting. Super prompt service (and if there's a wait, the food is worth it). We had a very great server. Food was incredible quality and flavor. Perfect then around timing. I was full off the 4 hand roll and my brother was full off 6 hand roll. Each one had 10/10 flavor :) We also had albacore sashimi which was picked based off server recs and looooved the flavor profile. Worth the try!

I can't have a visit to LA without going to Kazunori. I can always trust it to be consistently delicious. Fresh handed to you hand rolls with warm sushi rice and yumm fish. Always expect a wait at this location, I went at 4pm and there was still a line.

Been here at least 2 dozen times, and had my first hand roll bar experience here. Every time I leave, thinking about the next experience already.Surrrre there may be a long line on any given day and at any given time, but once you get the craving, it's impossible to deny. Plus once you get seated, food comes quickly!I'll usually go for 4 or 5 hand rolls, and sometimes a Sapporo - will add sake if feeling extra feisty. The pre defined sets or custom are equally great options, depending what you're feeling. The sashimi is good if you're in the mood for it, but usually stick to the hand rolls.Yellowtail and bay scallop are my top favorites. The yellowtail freshness plus the green onion accent is *chef's kiss*. The bay scallops creaminess also sets it apart from the others. Lobster, crab salmon, eel, albacore are fine additions as well.Compared to other hand roll places, the seaweed is crisper and the rice is warmer, which makes all the difference. It being a no tipping establishment also helps make the prices easier to understand. Low overhead operating costs + deliciously simple product = happy diners.

I love hand rolls so this place was perfect! The pre fix menu options were great but if you know what you like in a hand roll it's not too much of a price difference to get what you prefer. Fish was fresh and the rice to fish portion great. The restaurant was dim but not horrible and lively enough while still being able to hear those you're dining with. The service was quick and our group of 8 were seated in about 30-40mins which didn't feel too bad considering we chose to stay seated together and its first come first serve, and on a Friday night too!

I recently stopped by KazuNori in Marina del Rey for lunch, and while the experience had its ups and downs, it was overall quite enjoyable. We were seated right away and decided to go with the 6-roll special. The restaurant was packed, and there was only one sushi chef working the whole place. As we were starving, the wait between rolls felt a bit long, and it was clear the chef was working tirelessly, moving from one side of the restaurant to the other, constantly making rolls. I felt for him, but I do think they could've used another pair of hands.That said, the rolls were absolutely delicious--super fresh and flavorful. I loved how the warm rice paired with the cold fish; it made everything taste so much better. The only downside was that I wished the rolls were a bit bigger, but I understand they weigh everything for consistency.The location is fantastic, with free parking available in the complex (with validation) and a great view over the marina, which made for a nice atmosphere. I'd definitely come back again, just hoping for a bit faster service next time.

Kazunori is always a 10/10 in my books. I do the 5 hand roll set and swap out the crab for salmon. My favorites are the scallop and the lobster, but they're all so good. Highly recommend getting the albacore sashimi if it's not sold out- the sauce is amazing.The line looks long but moves quickly, and they're very efficient at getting people sat. They always give me extra ginger which I love!

Five stars easily. Ever since tragedies began entering my life in the last quarter of 2024, I started running. I ran from my home which has now most likely died in a fire to Kazu nori in marina del ray. I was already dealing with enough in my life, but this place this food kinda made feel a lil better so I always went on 4 hour 12 mile runs to go there. The food is great and the service is great except for the fact they ask children who are sitting and eating alone for parking validation other than that amazing. I love the guy that always gives me extra ginger now I recognize him whenever I go there and he recognizes me. Ambiance is good for a lunchy vibe never been there for dinner (I have but not at the marina del ray location).

I am giving KazuNori five stars today because of the remarkable dining experience provided to us by our server, Lola. Lola was professional, courteous, cheerful, and prompt in responding to any request we made. She is an exceptional ambassador for KazuNori: a gem. Our hand rolls were very good, served in a pleasant atmosphere.
