Kazunori offers a unique dining experience, combining fresh delectable hand rolls with a casual ambiance as the chef prepares each roll in front of you. The restaurant offers solely bar seating, which can get quite packed during lunch or dinner, but it's worth the wait. Their 6 roll combo offers you a good sample of the variety they offer, consisting of toro, salmon, yellowtail, bay scallop, crab, and lobster hand rolls. My favorites include the lobster and scallop rolls, absolutely delicious! Parking is nicer at this location too, with validated self parking/valet available for a low cost! Walking distance to many other koreatown stores as well!

This was my first time at this location in Ktown. I love Kazunori and hand rolls so was looking forward to eating here. Parking can be atrocious in this area especially on a weekend but we lucked out with street parking not too far away. It was Valentine's Day on a Friday so we expected a bit of wait even at 930pm. We were told it was approx a 30 min wait which wasn't too bad. I did like they would give you an ETA upon entering. It's all bar seating and was clean inside. Unfortunately, they were all out of their specials by the time we were there and even the albacore! I went with the 5 roll set and wanted to add albacore sashimi to share with my friend but since they were out I went with an eel hand roll.Service was pretty meh, no one really checked up on us too often and I wish they did a better job announcing which hand roll we were getting. The other negative was for the eel hand roll, I wish it was a bit more charred and smoky. The quality of the fish is always pretty fresh and good, I think it's a great deal overall. I would say this location feels a little safer than the downtown LA location so would prob prefer coming here. But make sure to come earlier if you want to try the specials or make sure they're not out of anything.

Love KazuNori, with this location being a favorite because of the easy parking during the daytime (before 4pm). Use the QR code to first place a $5 "charge" on your credit card before you park. After eating, scan another QR within the restaurant to validate your parking and get your $5 refunded. Easy peasy. I've also had extra time after eating to stroll around the plaza the several times I've visited. Grab a Starbucks drink or try your luck at the gashapon store a few doors down.I've found the rolls here deliciously consistent with other locations. Grab the 6 roll combo, you won't regret it! Staff here are also attentive.

Our experience was overall good but..Today, the crab was really salty and the cup I had been drinking on had lipstick stain on it and I didn't realize it til after I drank on it a bunch of times already.. I didn't see cuz the cup was colored and had a certain design that camouflaged the lipstick anyway I knew it wasn't mine because I was not wearing lipstick.

Stopped by KazuNori in Ktown on a Tuesday night--luckily, there was no wait. Went with the Nozie set, which was spot-on: the rice was perfectly seasoned, and the seaweed was crisp in every bite. I ended up having about eight hand rolls total, and left feeling just right--not too stuffed, but definitely satisfied.Service was quick and friendly, and the vibe was laid-back--ideal for a quick sushi fix. I'll definitely be back here when those hand roll cravings hit!

Lovely time here. I came at about 3:30pm on a Wednesday, so I was served immediately and was out before 4pm. Great service and food, like the DTLA location. I had the 5 piece hand roll w/ lobster and it never fails. It was just me dining until a second person walked in. Both of us were served promptly.

I absolutely LOVE Kazunori. I've been to the Westwood location as well and found that the quality of food and service are pretty consistent between the two locations.Went to the Ktown location during LA restaurant week and did the restaurant week menu, which was essentially the 5 handroll combo + a serving of salmon sashimi, but at the price of the 5 handrolls (which I thought was a pretty good deal). As usual, the seafood was all so fresh and tasty, and the handrolls were perfectly made. I also love how they give you one roll at a time, waiting to give you the next one until a few minutes after you finished the previous one. I find that this really helps me enjoy the meal more and savor each handroll's unique flavors. It is Ktown, so parking is paid. The restaurant is in the complex with Quarters KBBQ, Toebang, Tiger Sugar, etc, so it does get a bit crowded at peak times. The restaurant is dimly lit and has an intimate feel, and is a great place for a special (but still affordable) meal.

This is my 2nd time here and there's no where else i'd rather go when in LA and in the mood for handrolls (aka all the time). FYI they do not have reservations, as they only have bar seating, i'm unsure how it is at other locations, though. There was a line with a few parties ahead of us on a weeknight. While we were in line, we asked them what rolls come in the Nozie: the server said it is 6 rolls toro (fatty tuna), lobster, eel, New Zealand sea bream, yamaimo (mountain yam), and ankimo (monkfish liver). The server said that they might run out of the Nozie by the time we got seated tho. We got seated before the party in front of us so I recommend coming with a smaller party of 2 if possible. My bf got the 6 hand roll set and an order of halibut sashimi. The server updated me that they do have the Nozie but that they have to replace the ankimo with scallop, which works out for me bc scallop is my favorite. everything was delicious, made super fast and of course, very fresh. Next time I would order a la carte instead of the set because i can do without the eel and yam rolls.

First time at a KazuNori! It's a small place and despite having several workers out servicing, there was only one person making the hand rolls. With a full bar, the rolls did spaced out enough and more for you to enjoy each roll. while I normally don't like crab meat, I did enjoy the crab hand roll.Overall, I did find this experience a little bit lackluster; just a place to grab a quick dinner and go. It is definitely not filling for someone looking for a full satiating meal.

first time trying kazunori after hearing so many good things. I ordered the 6 piece hand roll set. service was great and everything came out pretty fast! for the rolls, I think the rice to fish ratio could've been a bit better. I'm a big salmon fan but the salmon roll actually disappointed me the most and I couldn't really taste the salmon flavor at all. I enjoyed the crab roll and the yellowtail surprised me and was really good!
