This is a regular stop for me during the week.They have all the staples and do them all well.Staff is friendly and consistent across the board! Presentation is great and menu is priced fairly. Sometimes there isn't music playing, which isn't a big deal-but if you're the only one there (which is almost never) it'll get real quiet.

Had a good experience the first time around. I've come here more than 3 times. Hoping I'd give em another try Their sushi is SMALL. aka baby sushi. For some reason (from my experience) the more times you order the smaller the portions u get. I had ordered the edamame. Looked like normal portion. Then we decided to get a second edamame bc they was so good. Then I noticed how little they served up the second round. It was nothing compared to the first serving. It's not like we are paying an all you can eat price. They charge you same price for appetizers meanwhile they add less and less the more you ordered. Which is a damn rip off. I have to look for another spot in the valley since my favorite spot is out in weho and can't always drive out there. We are in the valley so don't expect to not share the same dining experience with assholes around you. Angry ass ppl come here to eat. Acting like they got a broom shoved up their ahhsss. Mistreats the waiters .. it's def a mood killer. So I'll just be taking myself to West Hollywood to avoid paying 4 small portions and eating around assholes

This place grows on you.I first came here about 2 years ago on one of our first dates with my husband .Maybe it was the butterflies in my stomach that didn't let me truly appreciate all that this place had to offer. The more I ordere from here I love it more and more as I live down the street and the high quality of the sushi gets me everytime. WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!!!!!I have been here before and loved it. Today was a horrible experience, went with the family for a quick bite to eat. We got are food quick, BUT now have been siting here about 20min with no service are server is TAKING SHOTS of sake at the bar and on her phone/ flirting with one of the cooks. We are the only people in here except a couple at the bar. We just wanna order more food and pay the bill. My water is out and haven't gotten a refill. This is very frustrating and honestly don't even wanna pay my bill with the service I'm not even getting. i had to ask the busgirl to put in another order for me. I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK.......

First time here and we definitely would be coming baxkc. It's been on our "try soon list" for some time and yes, we ordered a lot!Their service is great, super friendly, possibly family owned and operated. Love supporting local businesses that give that family vibe.The place is clean, their sushi displays makes hungrier so yes, we ordered more than we had planned for but we were also hungry Everything tasted delicious, fresh with one exception, the shrimp tempura breading was either overcooked or it had too much breading.They still deserve a five star for their awesome service, beautiful presentation and fresh fish!

Was in the area and found this spot because it had so many good reviews. Was very disappointed by the food. Started off by ordering some nagiri (salmon belly and yellowtail yuzu). They were good but very tiny so wasn't really a big fan of that. Rolls are not what I expected. Honestly, don't be fooled by the pictures. Rolls are soo little compared to other sushi spot I've been too. I ordered 3 rolls which all were meh but want to mention "spicy tuna torpedo" I get that its deep fried roll but it was CANNED TUNNA in there it was very disappointing.I think the amount of fish you get is not worth it. They get one star for their service and it takes a lot for me to write bad reviews.

This is a decent place to have sushi. I can't say if the fishes are super fresh, for halibut and red snapper the chef added so much lemon and salt I barely could taste the fish. Salmon and yellowtail sushi was good but the hand roll didn't taste right. We sat by the bar and the service was pretty fast. The noise level is high. I wish I could see everywhere is shining, when it's a raw food place I expect to see the restaurant is shining; hopefully they will improve that.

So the parking is a little sketch because you have to make your own parking spot. There wasn't that many people when I went for dinner with my friend. The music inside was bumping. They had all the early 2000 hits and the whole crew seemed so lively and happy to be there. All the rules sounded so good that I didn't even know what to decide on, but I ended up picking the crispy rice, the eel and avocado roll, and some edamame to start off. edamame was not really salted and a little overcooked and I don't think it was worth it but the crispy rice and the other world were so delicious that they made up for it. So it is pretty normally priced in regard to sushi places. I only come here because it's around the corner from my friend's house and I don't want salsa and beer. We sang happy birthday to one of the sushi chefs and relaxed and had a good time dancing to some songs at our table. I like coming here with my friend so we'll definitely come back because this sushi is bomb.
