Curry Katsu was amazing! Best curry I've had in a long time! Def coming here again with more friends. Staff was really kind and sat us down quickly. Prices seemed a little high but the quality AND quantity made it worth the price!

Katsumura was a great lunch spot for my friend and I! We shared a Takoyaki and I got the Chicken Katsu while he got the Sweet Potato Katsu. The food was great and the chicken was very moist and plenty thick. I liked the small side salads that it came with and it mixed up the plate well. I liked my friend's dish too but I felt that pork isn't as juicy and more tough than chicken. The sweet potato portion gave it a nice creaminess to it. The wait was only about 10 min when we came at 1pm and they quickly got us a table. We both really liked the atmosphere and decor of the place. The staff were very nice and we will definitely consider coming back!

We came here on a Friday evening with a larger party. We called ahead and they just took our name off the phone and told us they will do their best to accommodate since the restaurant isn't very big. When we arrived the table wasn't ready but we were early and still had to wait for the rest of the group. We squeezed into one of the table sun the middle with 3 small children and that worked for us. Most of us ordered the Gyu Katsu (cook on the stone) + Udon combo and the Katsu curry. This reminded me of when I visited Japan. Gyu Katsu: The beef was tender but the Katsu coating didn't stick to the meat like in Japan but that wasn't a huge deal. The sides were good but I wish there were more options like in Japan, like maybe more of the sauces to complement the meat. The udon was mid not amazing but not terrible either.Katsu Curry: the chicken was a bit dry, but the curry was good! Service was quick and attentive. They made sure to fill our waters and change the fire under the stones. This isn't a place to chat and stay long because it is busy and not a very big restaurant. They were very kind but made it clear they wanted us to leave after we finished eating which I wasn't offended by at all. Friday dinner service is always busy. Being a server manyyyy years ago I understand the Friday rush. I would come back when I am in town!

Ambience: clean, nice musicService: excellent - our server constantly checked on us. Food: 2 out of 5. Pork katsu - pork was quite dry and seemed like they used old oil. But lunch bento overall is good for the price.

First time here with the family. Arrived at 6pm and got seated at 6:30pm. It gets super packed, better to arrive early. Fully recommend the chicken katsu. The gyu katsu was okay, will definitely come back to try other dishes.

Very normal, nothing really wow .. I had better katsu elsewhere... The dining room is pretty crowded and messy... Service is ok.It's better for larger groups... They have more items on combo that you have to order 2 or more ... I don't find a reason for a return visit...

First time trying Katsumura! The menu is straight to the point I got the Gyu Katsu which is the ribeye steak that you cook on the mini grill in front of you. I also did order a side of curry which I did not care for, I would probably skip this nxt time tbh. Service was quick and prompt. Thank you. Honorable mentions:-Accepts credit card-Plenty of parking-Small seating area inside

Been meaning to try this place since I've heard about it - I've never had gyu katsu before and really wanted to try it. It's located in the same plaza as the new Tastea & BCD Tofu House. It was pretty crowded when we got there for dinner - I had made reservations for 6:45 and we had gotten there maybe half an hour earlier, but the owner(?) was happy to get us seated right away.Between two people, we weren't that hungry so we split a gyu katsu curry, half a dozen oysters, and takoyaki. I didn't enjoy the oysters so much since they were the bigger, non-sweet ones. It's worth the price for what you get. The takoyaki was good, exactly what you'd expect when you order takoyaki. The batter is delicious and the size of the octopus was perfect. Didn't need to add anything additional to it, we cleared that plate so fast. Gyu katsu was the best thing we ordered. I loved getting to grill the beef on the small grill, topping it off with some salt and wasabi. It was phenomenal with the rice & curry. They also add little mix salad situation for breaks between savory bites. 10/10 would get again.

Simply AMAZING!Amazing is the simple and only way I can describe this restaurant. The servers are friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The ambiance reminds me of some restaurants you will find in Japan, which I've personally been and can attest to. Last but not least, the reservation process over Yelp is a stellar way to stake a claim on some seats and avoid the wait.Everything from the Chicken and Beef Katsu to the seared ahi sashimi was a winner! The drink list was impressive with many drinks you would find served at restaurants in the Land of the Rising Sun. From the Whisky Highball, to the Calpis Sour. Lastly, the dining experience here did not break the bank or fracture the wallet. Cheers!I will absolutely be coming back here again soon!

Saw this place on yelp & decided to give it a try! We went around 4pm, so we got seated right away. The workers there were very welcoming and nice. They checked up on us often to make sure we were enjoying our experience. So service was a 10/10 We got the gyoza, curry udon, and wang donkatsu:1. Gyoza = $7 (during happy hour) and it did not disappoint! Came out really fast & it was perfectly fried! 2. Curry udon = Didn't come with any meat, but it was still okay. The curry was soupier (thinner) than I prefer & tasted pretty watery. Not sure if I would get it again. 3. Wang Donkatsu = Came with cream soup, side dishes, and rice! Portions were big, but the sauce that came with it tasted pretty watery and bland. Sauce could be thicker & more flavorful! You could also tell they freeze the katsu beforehand because the breading was falling apart But it was still an overall okay katsu! Would still come back to try other menu items :-)
