We had such a good time at the restaurant. We had the mushroom birria and the cauliflower with the papas bravas. Even our mocktails were amazing. Our waitress was fantastic. Loved the ambiance with the dangling lights and lanterns. Went on a cold night and they provided with blankets.Food was delicious. We ordered a variety of items to share.My only issue was the service. They kept bringing it out in batches and in the end charged us for items that we had not even ordered.

Food was absolutely incredible. The quesadilla and shrimp fried tacos were top notch. Such a medley of flavors that all worked in perfect harmony. The tres leches cake, omg get out. It had a passion fruit drizzle, graham cracker bottom, served with coconut cream and candied walnuts. Like what!? Who is the chef here? Because Jesus Christ this food was so well thought out. Service could have been better, but the food was so yummy I still give them a 5. Ambiance is super elegant and upbeat. Lots of plants and simple white lights. I sent my compliments to the manager because I was just blown away.

We attended the night after valentines. The restaurant is beautiful and the service was good. The drinks were amazing, and the food was delicious. The only two negatives I would add was the music was a little to loud where we had to speak up to hear each other and the prices are a little high. For 2 couples our bill was close to $900. They included a service charge of like $150, we assumed that was the tip. Would we visit again? Not sure, but it was a fun experience.

The ambience is really beautiful. The entrance is covered with a large lounge area and coffee bar. We went for dinner in the evening this past week when it was raining. It wasn't raining while we were there but we reserved seating inside. Inside and out is pretty open air concept so dress accordingly. The inside was protected from the outside with large thick curtains so we didn't get the breeze from outside. I'm sure they move the curtains when the weather permits to allow more open air. The outdoor area has heat lamps and seemed fine even in the cold. It was cold outside but comfortable dining inside and they provide blankets. The service and food were also really amazing. Reservations highly recommended. It appears their reservation is only available for the current 2 weeks out. There's an outdoor parking lot across the street $20 they also offer

Such a cute spot for a night out! We went to Kateen before a concert and appreciated the outdoor dining atmosphere with low lanterns and fireplaces. There is also a blanket at every chair in case you get cold.There is a good mix of vegan and various seafood and meat. The quesadilla was a fresh take with an egg and lots of flavor. I wish there had need a fish entree that wasn't $68!

Stunning interior, especially at night. Service is discreet, friendly, and very attentive. Timing was impeccable.The food was terrific. Believe the hype and order the short ribs. Unctuous and deeply flavorful. Complex without being overwhelming. Same for the cauliflower - an amazing play of flavor profiles. The queso fundi was deliciously cheesy, rich, but not heavy. The shrimp tacos were good, but not a highlight. The same could be said for the corn.The drinks were fantastic. The flavors, the presentation, and we loved that they used different vessels for each drink. Terra cotta kept the drinks nicely chilled. The flavors were well balanced with just the right amount of heat, and complimented the food perfectly.Yes, this restaurant is expensive , but the quality of the food, service, and atmosphere match the price point.

Such an amazing experience! I've been hearing buzz surrounding this place and finally decided to book it for my finances birthday. I'm so happy I did! This place has such a "sexy" ambiance. It's modeled after Tulum but I feel it's so upscale. Their food and service were fantastic! We were a large group and ordered a bunch of different items including three entrees. Everything was great but next time I'm going to order more appetizers because they were the perfect sharing size and could easily fill you up. I willBe back very soon!

I made a reservation here for my birthday for 8. It was initially for 7 people but I called the day before and they were able to accommodate another person.The ambiance of the restaurant is to die for. It is well lit with a tropical theme. Though it's outside, they have heaters all around to keep you warm. There are many servers moving about so it was never difficult to get someone's attention. They are the kind of restaurant that takes orders all at once and you aren't able to add things to your dish. What you have is it which is a bummer.The drinks are delicious. I got a pina colada drink in the pineapple which was the larger version of the Wes colada. It was really good. I also got the crab enchiladas. They were okay. They were very fishy but not unbearable. I also got the potato taquitos which I really enjoyed. What was very disturbing is that we ordered chips and guacamole and we didn't have enough chips and a substantial amount of guacamole left and were charged for another thing of chips. This was annoying because we weren't given enough chips to begin with. Overall the ambiance and drinks were good. The food was okay and for the cost of the dishes, I don't know if I'd come back to eat here. At best this is a good place for cocktails.

I had high hopes for this restaurant, but it ended up being a huge disappointment. First off, the setting is bizarre, it's an open area surrounded by apartments, so you're basically dining while looking up at people going about their lives, changing clothes, and just existing. It's distracting and awkward.The menu is incredibly limited, with the only (main dish) fish option being a whole fish and the only chicken option being a whole chicken. Not exactly ideal if you're looking for variety. The meat was overwhelmingly salty especially for paying over $100 for it, and the sauce? It literally tasted like water. Having traveled through the southern regions of Mexico, I can confidently say this place was completely underwhelming in terms of authenticity and flavor.Service was mediocre at best. Our server had no real knowledge of portion sizes and misled us into thinking the dishes were meant for sharing- but with the tiny portions, that was a joke. The only people who seemed to be on top of things were the busboys and valet staff.Maybe I'm just used to better service and food, but this place did not measure up to other restaurants. If you're actually hungry, just go to a taco stand, you'll get better food and a full meal. This spot is more for snacking and chatting (or screaming over the noise). That said, if you're on a first date and don't want to talk much, this might be perfect. The one redeeming factor? Their playlist was fantastic.Would I come back? Absolutely not.
