Great place for when you're just craving tofu soup. It's currently $17.99 for their soondubu and comes with a hot bowl of rice and refillable banchan. The servers, along with the cat robots, are pretty attentive and stop by to refill your drinks/banchan regularly. Note: there are 7 spice level options on the menu I got a medium spice level which ran on the milder side, so I recommend getting spicy if you have moderate spice tolerance!

Food: 4/5Service: 4/5Ambiance: 4/5 My go to order at tofu places are the beef tofu soup (medium) and galbi. Both the food and service are interesting - there was a drastic difference when I came at dinner versus when I came at lunch. When I came for dinner, it was a Friday night, so I guess it's expected. My galbi came with 5-6 small pieces and wasn't well flavored. The onions weren't even caramelized yet. The tofu soup was alright, it was PIPING hot. I was literally adding ice cubes and water into it to try to cool it down. I couldn't even tell you about the flavor because I spent the entire meal taking tiny sips. Our server also spilled a good amount of soup everywhere when she was placing it on our table. I told myself I wouldn't be back... I ended up back at lunch because my friend came to visit from out of town and she was craving tofu soup. The difference at lunch is drastic. The galbi was much better flavored and there were many more pieces. The tofu soup was the perfect temperature and well flavored. Delicious, solid meal. Additionally, our server was very attentive and always came to check on us. Overall, I would only come to this place during lunch. The food is delicious, but that may change during a dinner rush.

Solid place for tofu soup! We came around 8 pm on a Saturday and it was still packed inside. Our party of 3 waited for around 5 mins to be seated and the food came out quickly. I ordered the beef tofu soup mild and it was deliciously flavorful, rich and comforting. Plenty of soft tofu inside. Mild spiciness was just right for me. The banchan was great as well and the cat robot servers are so cute!

I really enjoyed the rich flavor of their beef tofu soup! Plenty of tofu and the banchan was plentiful. We came around 8PM on a Saturday and it was pretty packed inside! Had to wait about 5 mins for a table. The food came out quickly as well. The medium spiciness was a little too spicy for me so I would maybe go with mild next time :)

2/365 Review 1.02.25Came here on Xmas eve for lunch w my mom & family. 12.24.24It was a raining day and Tofu soup sounded like the perfect meal for the cold day.I was finally able to dine at a restaurant with the Cat Robot server. It brings you your side/Banchan dishes. What we Ordered ~ the Seafood Tofu soup was good.~ Bulgogi was a bit on the sweeter side.Banchans were ok. I've had way better. My husband also mentioned the kimchi wasn't the best. There was only 2 server this afternoon. Service was a bit slow.It was pretty busy and constant flow of incoming traffic. Restaurant is big and spacious w booths tables and regular tables. In the same plaza as the Honey Pig. Lots of parking available.Tip Get on the Guestlist thru YELP to save time on wait.

I love how this place has a special offer, which is a plus! The meat option combined with soup was perfect! There was a wait time for sure! So just come early so you won't have to wait in line. Now, I am not sure about the chicken flavor; it was okay, but I feel like it needed something else. I've been to another place in Torrance, and the flavor was better there! The soup was good, and I think the main thing I enjoyed most was all the side dishes!I loved the kimchi the most!I will give this place another chance in the future because their offer is perfect!

I really enjoyed this! I wasn't feeling great and warm soondubu really hit the spot for me. We got to the restaurant around 11:45am and only had to wait 5-10min. The waitresses were pretty attentive and constantly asking if we wanted our Banchan to be refilled. The bean sprouts are my fave :) There is a damp-mop smell when you walk in? But that is my only complaint. The food and the service were great!

Kaju served one of, if not the best, holistic Korean dinner I've had in my life. First thing's first -- parking may be mildly difficult, depending on day/time. We went on a Friday night, and was circling around a little bit because the plaza is shared with Honey Pig and a Korean billiards spot. Check-in was easy; you just do it on the iPad at the front and wait your turn. The inside is beautiful, with traditional Korean decor and awesome ceiling lamps. I even love the shirts that the employees wear! Okay, so we opted to go for the dinner combo, which is what I would highly recommend. You get to choose two items, and this is the best way to try as much food for a good price. We were a party of two so we went for two combos, and therefore had four different dishes. We got: -Two tofu soups-Beef bulgogi-BossamAnd my goodness, everything was incredible. And I wasn't even drinking! Bossam is usually served as a large portion, making it too expensive and too ridiculous to order sometimes. I appreciated that the dinner combo provided us a solid portion of the pork belly and napa cabbage.I think the most impressive part was the banchan. I think ALL of the side dishes were incredibly fresh--especially the kimchi--and flavorful. Out of the many Korean restaurants I've been to, I think Kaju's is the most ON POINT.The tofu soup was great, I have no general issues. The bulgogi was juicy, slightly sweet with a nice sesame oil taste, and it wasn't greasy at all. It was a nice item to eat to cut through the spicy soup.In terms of service, no major complaints, although I will say it's a bit confusing sometimes with a robot giving you food while human servers are also on the floor. Some tables are connected and you might end up sitting next to another party. And in some occasions my food ended up with the other party out of confusion. Aside from that hiccup, I think for the absolute value and quality of the food, there's no other place to go. I cannot stop thinking about how good it's been every visit.
