the staff here are so friendly, speedy, and enhance the welcoming environment of Kaijin! I'm picky with my sushi and could tell it was very fresh and made with care.the prices are also wallet friendly, and there's even a parking lot?! I want to gatekeep this place, but really want them to succeed!Trust this review and head over to your new favorite sushi stop :)

I've ordered from Kaijin twice and both times were fairly good. They offer great value and the selection is fresh. Kaijin is in a small plaza and has a very casual vibe. It feels like a great place to meet up with friends. They are very stingy with the ginger and kinda mean about it.

LA is filled with sushi, and sometimes you just need a simple, non-pretentious place for a quick meal - this place hits the spot. The sheer variety of rolls on their menu is overwhelming, and I think in the future I will re-order the plain salmon roll. Decent quality fish. The specialty rolls were a little too heavy on the sauce. Would be a good place for quick takeout, or dine-in, as the service is so friendly and attentive.

If I could give zero stars, I would, horrible service. Walked into restaurant, no hostess to meet you , just rude waitress. Then we finally get sat down. No joke 25 minutes new waiter or waitress, the head chef walked by at least 5 times, never once did he ask us if we were ready order or even take our drink order. At this point my daughter & wife were pissed off at the horrible service. Do not recommend this place if you are looking for good service. Management fix this problem or you will keep losing customers

Audrey was pretty rude over the phone when calling about my DoorDash order. I almost want to erase my previous review because I'm so upset. I understand they couldn't change my order after the couldn't fulfill It but the nasty attitude and hostility over the phone wasn't necessary. Pretty sad about this honestly.

We had a wonderful meal at this spot. They had a wide range of rolls and menu items to appeal to all tastes. Love how creative their rolls are and especially liked the TikTok roll. The garlic edamame was a hit. The only dish that we didn't enjoy was the teriyaki chicken which was rubbery. Service was prompt and friendly. It's located in a small shopping center with its own parking. The restaurant is clean and bright.
