Came here after a doctor's appointment and it was completely empty. I saw after I sat down that they are "closed" between 3-5pm via Yelp but the door was open and they told me to have a seat. They must've remembered that they "close" during that time because I was given the check before I was even half way done with my food and then the server/owner, who was nice, kept sitting closer to me as if to say "hurry up". I found it rude, so that alone will keep me from returning. I ordered the red tonkotsu at medium level. Wasn't spicy really so I could've definitely ordered hot. The noodles had a nice chew to them though. I also ordered the spicy tuna on crispy rice which came way after I got the ramen, even though it is meant to be an appetizer. It was beautiful presented, but I have had better.

The store closed for a few months. It recently opened with new management. I got two orders to go. The owner (?) was the only one working. He worked super hard but looked over his head. Hope he gets some help. Customers waited for a bit before being helped or fed they almost walked out. I hope this Ramenya is able to hire employees and make the business work

Absolutely horrible customer service!!! The last time I was here I gave it a 5 because it was so delicious-this time I didn't even get to sit down! I got there at 6:40 and there was no one in the restaurant and I was dining alone and after I yelled hello a few times someone came out and I asked to sit down at one of the two tops. He said " no you alone, you sit at the counter." The counter, just stares at the back of the stove/wall and I wanted to look out and so I told the man "I wanted to sit at the two top and look out" he said "no you alone you sit there". Again I said "no I don't want to stare at a wall. I want to look out" he told "me those tables are reserved for two people", and I said there wasn't any other people in the whole restaurant and he said you sit there or nothing and so I left. I reminded him that I gave him a five star rating the last time and he definitely wouldn't be getting that this time.

I'm a big fan of ramen and I am so happy to have recently discovered Kai Ramen in Westchester. Kai Ramen is currently in their soft opening till end of August. My understanding is they closed and now they are back! I am definitely glad they opened up because I really enjoyed all the offerings here.Kai Ramen offers pork, chicken and vegetable broth. I am such a fan of ramen places that offer different type of broths. Though I do indulge once in awhile with pork based broth; I really like when places offer chicken or vegetable broths. I got the Buttercorn Ramen which is a creamy white chicken soup that comes with garlic buttery sauce, salt base, thick noodle, chicken meat, flavored egg, scallion, corn, broccoli and a slice of butter. This was such a creamy ramen. The slice of butter was unique and gave it an even more creamy touch. I was impressed with the two slices of large chicken chashu. The fact that they had chicken chashu is already quite a win. I also loved how they had a fair amount of both corn and broccoli. This ramen definitely was packed with both flavor and ingredients. The Buttercorn Ramen was $18 and thought a little bit on the pricier side of ramen; it was well worth it. Aside from the ramen I got to try their Sesame Fried Chicken. This was $10.50 an came with a sweet mustard sauce. The fried chicken was hot, fresh and tasty!I also got to try their California roll. These were made fresh and were also quite delicious.I am definitely impressed with Kai Ramen Westchester. Aside from the amazing food; I liked the look of the restaurant. It was clean and classy. I loved how each table had flowers. As a ramen fan; this place is on the top of my list of amazing ramen spots! I definitely want to come back.

First time trying this place and I was pleasantly surprised. Really nice inside, fun and clean vibe. Service was good too. I tried the chicken ramen with thin noodles and medium spice. Was very tasty. Only critique I would offer is to slide the chicken thinner. It was a bit thick with two large pieces in the bowl. My son had the classic pork tonkatsu and said the chashu slice was good! Maybe next time I'll get the chicken brother with pork chashu. We'll be back

The inside was very clean and looked very nice. The staff was very helpful and friendly as well. For food we started with the crispy rice with spicy tuna and that was amazing! The crisp of the rice along with the spicy tuna and a little jalapeño flavor was great. We then ordered the bomb ramen and volcano ramen. Both were very good and we got offered extra spice on the side so we could make it as spicy as we wanted. I enjoyed the bomb ramen more than the volcano as it was the first time I had popcorn chicken in ramen but it was definitely something to try. I got a side of the pork chashu and that was great in the ramen. If we are ever in the area again would definitely go back!

AMAZING. QUALITY. AUTHENTIC JAPANESE RAMEN.The broth tastes like it was made with intricate effort, care, and passion for food. The chili oil is insanely flavorful and good! We started putting it on every bite of ramen. The food came out pretty quick, considering there was only 1 chef working. I loved the classy music playing in the restaurant and the server working tonight was amazing. He was friendly and attentive. The interior is very cute, clean, and modern. We loved our experience and drank our ramen down to the bottom of the bowl.

Wow! This was good! Live in the neighborhood and will add it to my restaurant rotation. Standouts were takoyaki and beef bowl. Ramen eggs were also done well. Really enjoyed this and nice quick takeout if you live close by.
